    Check out the JAG composites handguards. They are lighter, have a better barrel nut, and they look better too (IMHO).

    Yes carbon fiber transfers heat really well. But only along the fiber. In a polymer matrix it's pretty poor in the z direction.

    How is your front sight mounted?
    The only thing holding me back is I need one m lock mounting spot off the back

      This model of their handguard comes with pic rails attached to the front. I use offset irons, but there's nothing on the handguard close to the barrel nut. You might be able to buy an accessory rail that uses an M LOK attachment to secure it between the weaving, but it probably wouldn't hold solid.

    Nope we make the lightest handguard now.

      Yep, and the JAG handguards have a much better barrel nut that won't come loose, and they look better too, IMHO.
