Hello sir. Thanks for the awesome video I’ll definitely subscribe, as it’s hard to find people who know about bikes as old as this one. I have one. I notice at about 2:07 in the video, that thick bushing (With the slits) isn’t installed. I see the slits are facing upward (at about 2:37 into the video). Is there a washer that goes with it? Up under it ?
@@CR-ch7wl is there an email that I can send the pic to? I paused the video and screenshotted it. I also highlight the part in red so you would know the section I was referring to
I watched my disassemble video of this transmission and it didn’t have the part you’re talking about. I put it back together exactly how it came apart. Check out the disassemble video and see if that answers your questions. If not let me know. ua-cam.com/video/fBgSrVsDUV8/v-deo.htmlsi=i5w_BDnqRQTHhAh0
I rebuilt mime using new bearings shift forks etc. Now.when I shift to 4th it grinds gears would that be a clutch issue or do I need a shim kit for forks
Hello sir. I have a question about the springs that you installed before installing the shift plate. Would those have anything to do with having trouble finding neutral?? Thanks again for you awesome videos and knowledge.
Most of the time when I'm having trouble finding neutral it's in the clutch basket. The clutch plates or the steel plates put grooves into the inter clutch hub or the outer clutch basket. When this happens the plates get stuck in the grooves and they won't release. If you think your springs are bad just replace them, they are cheap enough. I hope this helps. If not hit me up again. Thank you for watching and please subscribe if you haven't.
I'm sorry bro.. but I just can't watch you anymore . You just went ahead and assembled this entire trans and NOT a DROP of assembly Lube my britha not a drop ?????????????? did you read somewhere that your supposed to put this together DRY ??????????????????????????????
I didn’t state in the video but I did put a light coat of oil on the wear points. You can see it on my fingers. Also not stated is I fill the bike with oil and rotate the rear wheel to per lube the trans. If you watched any of my other transmission build videos you see my lubing them. This was a quick video for this bike and an afterthought. If you’re finding other peoples videos that you’re happier with that I understand. Thank you for watching

By any chance do you know the size or part number for the bolt that screws into the pawl support and attaches to the access door?
I'm sorry but I don't. I don't have this bike any longer.

I’m not positive but I would definitely check the shift fork alignment.
