Well done, just hope they do RHD for NZ.
"Think it looks good" - has it framed 20 meters away 😂
As you said you've had a couple IXs, is the Keff sound system better than the B&W in the IX? as that's meant to be pretty special!? Also nice meeting you at Goodwood on the Thursday!! And I really liked this at Goodwood, the interior was something else!
Agreed with you 100%. Good for Lotus and showing the industry how it's done. That said, we do need to bring the price point down a bit...well, more than a bit. But that will come with a little time.
Have they been showing the industry how it's done? This car hasn't been designed or developed by Lotus and it is being built in China. It may as well wear a Geely badge.
@@bw1376 True.....but only to an extent. The suspension doesn't sound like it's Chinese....but yes, the rest pretty much is.....with input from Lotus. Fair to say if it was 100% Geely, it wouldn't be near as good as it actually is.
@@stevemurrell6167 It is based on a lightly reengineered Polestar platform and uses the same technology found in new EV cars from Polestar, Volvo, and even Smart.
No charge test?
It is the same as when Porsche first introduced the Cayenne 20 years ago. Everyone was saying it is not a true Porsche, who up to that point had only every made small sports cars. Now everyone accepts they sell more SUVs than sports cars. However, Porsche say that they will not have been able to survive if they had not started selling SUVs. So we can all hope that Lotus will sell many electrice SUVs if that means that they can continue to sell exciting small sports cars. Better that than going the same way as TVR etc.
