You sisters need to do a Colab , Family favorites and how to 😊
Long story/short story. As a young girl of 16, I taught a group of women, 50-65 yo, how to cut whole chickens. They were having a fried chicken dinner as a fund raiser that night. I overheard them talking about who was going to cut the chickens and lent them my expertise. So funny. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
My grandma is 84 and her only job before becoming a lifelong mother & homemaker was working at a chicken processing farm/factory as a teenager. We love hearing her stories about it.
Your pizza, the moose and the fried chicken looked so delicious!
Your hubby is so blessed to have you as his wife and your children are so blessed to have you as their mother!
Im sure they enjoy all those home cooked meals!
You are an amazing woman!
May God bless you and your family!
Thanks so much!
I swear you are like a well oiled machine cranking out meals like no other. You make everything look so effortless. I wish I had your skills. You are such a blessing for your beautiful, growing family!! I hope you are feeling good!! God bless you and your family and growing baby!!
Off topic, but I love your voice, its so motherly & comforting! ❤
I like it too!!❤😊
Me too
You cook some great meals! You are a blessing to your family
Laura, I am loving the little snippets of your home you are sharing (and of course the food 😋). The antiques paired with the simple and clean style you have gives such a cozy country feel!
Give using your sourdough starter as your thickener for gravies....it's already fermented. Mix a couple of tbsps with a fat of choice & use it just like you use regular flour. Give it a try & let me know what you think? ❤❤❤
You and Lisa are such intuitive cooks! I’m so impressed.
I absolutely love watching your videos it calms me down 😊 I am always on the go and over fill my day with daily duties. Wishing you a safe labor and delivery 😍🤗
It seems like most of your meals are comfort food. Gravy, potatoes, meat, just delicious. Love your clothing purchases too!!!
You’re a true inspiration to all moms❤! Thank you for showing how hard we all work when we are at home. Always cooking and cleaning. Can I get your sis UA-cam to follow? ❤
Farmhouse on Boone is Laura’s sister, Lisa’s, channel.
There is another sister with a UA-cam channel as well isn’t there?
Seed and Sparrow is another sister
@@Shellbell75x a third sister also has a channel????
Seed and Sparrow is another sister?! How cool! I follow her too but had no idea.
In an alternative universe I would be a happy mom, enjoying the daily task and making delicious food for my family. Nowadays, in the country where I live life is very expensive and it is impossible to have children. Watching your video gave me peace and a warm feeling of home ❤
Nothing could ever beat my Mom's fried chicken! I miss that and her so much!! Great video Laura!
The way everyone says Worcestershire sauce is so funny to me,i can't say it 😂
I'm from UK we pronounce it wus-ter-sha sauce 😂
I'm from Yorkshire UK I say it like I've spelt it Wuster sauce
All your food looked amazing! Love your thumb nail with your children lined up , that’s how my siblings and I looked, nine of us ,then our own seven .
Awww so fun!!
You're just amazing Laura. I hope your family knows how messed they are. Great video!
This is my first time watching. I was like she sounds just like the the lady on Farmhouse Boone. When you said that was your sister. I was look OMG you both sound just alike
Your dinners always look so yummy!
I just love watching all your videos, love watching the different things you cook and how you cook them. I love good country, comfort food.. I'm from the south, NC born & raised so yeah😉The southern part, small country town, raised on country cooking straight from the large fields/gardens at my grandmas & grandpas. There were no store bought can food in the house.. and everything was made scratch. I'm A good bit older than you, so that's they way it was😄 Honestly you, and your sisters, are the biggest inspiration in all the things you all do.. its just awesome! Thanks again for all you share😊
You're meals look divine.cant wait to make them. Thanks for sharing.
Love watching your videos! 🌸
Great your dad was successful up here in my country hunting for Moose. Those chops looked sooooooo yummy!

Love your videos so much! You give me so much inspiration with cooking and your sister does as well! Xo
I finally had a chance to finish this video I started last week (life with a toddler! lol) Everything looks delicious. The mood of your videos is really what I’m trying to achieve on my channel - simple, calm, comforting, lots of good food. It’s been a learning journey but I feel like I’m finally finding my way here on UA-cam 😅 thanks for the inspiration!❤
You are looking so good and every dish looked amazing!
Loved this video! Can't wait to make the jambalaya! ❤
Everything looks so delicious.
Everything looks yummy!
I just found your channel!! What a delightful blessing! And you’re a great cook! Thank you!
All your meals would spoil my family!! ❤
Everything looks so delicious I can’t wait to try your recipes 🥰
❤❤❤all looks divine.Your glowing young lady.. Hello from Iowa .
You seem to make good good out of everything! Yummmmm! You give your children and husband such good food. Great mommy!
You made great looking meals for your dear family! Well done, Laura!
Thank you so much!!
Love your recipes ❤
I loved the mustard colored jacket with the black top and green skirt a lot!!
Thanks so much!!
Love that green skirt! I got one recently but it’s linen. Yours looks much softer.
I also tandem nursed all of mine so far. Mine are all 24mos -22mos apart. I have a 6,4.2,8mo and it can definitely be a challenge getting dressed while pregnant and nursing!
Great video! You are amazing. Many blessings.
Hi I love watching you cook your meals for the family it’s so inspiring thankyou.great to know how to make buttermilk if you don’t have any too x x
Moose is wonderful. My husband went for 13 years to Newfoundland and brought home moose meat. thanks for this video.
That's where my dad went!
I'm so impressed with you! God Bless You!
So good!! And, yes, I agree with the sisters’ colab!!
That green skirt looks so cute pulled up over your baby bump! I think I might make some jambalaya today too. Good idea. I have a small pack of chicken that’s isn’t enough to feed my whole family, but I also have shrimp in the freezer from the superbowl.
I thought it looked the best pulled up over her cute baby bump, too!! With the mustard jacket also!
Love all your recipes your kids eat so well that's really nice to see. Love your outfits today they are all really pretty. Thinking about joining thread up thank you
Thank you so much!
Omg everything looks to die for….. it’s like healthy country cooking…. 🤤
I was raised on a farm and everything was made from scratch.
I like to cold steep my red raspberry leaf tea for 24 hours on the countertop, with some blueberries. Then I sip it cold in the fridge for a couple of days!
Love your videos! Amazing woman ❤
If you mix 1 part milk to 1 part greek yogurt or the whey from making yogurt it makes a superior buttermilk substitute ❤
Good to know. Thank you.
Thank you , never heard of that .
Love watching you cook, makes me so hungry 😋
Had to smile when you used Worcestershire sauce it’s tricky to pronounce but here where I live next to Worcestershire Uk, it’s pronounced ‘ wuster sheer sauce’ 😊
Looks so yummy ❤
Always look forward to your video’s!
I appreciate that! 😄
If I'm in a pinch on time and food I always do breakfast pizza! We always have sausage and bacon on hand and usually cheese and eggs super easy!
Great idea!
I have also cooked from scratch. All the benefits from it is worth it. Only drawback, my hands and wrists are shot. At 60
Will you post the Jambalaya recipe please? It looked so good
Good Morning Laura! Yummy recipes, I need to try Jambalaya! This morning I hope to find an air fryer to add to my kitchen. My wish for you is to get that Kitchen Aid mixer...I do not cook as often as you - but I bought one in 2005? and I adore it. I waited and watched the sales at Kohl's and got it for 179.00. Makes mixing a breeze! Have a great weekend!
Love that skirt with the black shirt! Another great video!
Great video
I thought red raspberry leaf tea is only for third trimester?
I had no idea you and Lisa from farmhouse on Boone were sisters!!!! My mind is blown lol!!
I give an A plus to….everything 😊❤
You are right, fried chicken isn’t hard, but has some prep.
Yummy food!!
Hi!
Wonder what recipe you have for washing dishes in your spray bottle?
I am going back to quite a bit of basic cleaners, laundry soap, etc., and loving it!
I have all my soap and cleaning recipes on my blog: www.ouroilyhouse.com/?s=Cleaning
I always cook from scratch I'm doing the keto lifestyle I live on my own & can't cook for 1 I always cook for 4 😂 so I always have leftovers to freeze which is great for me 😊
Polish sausage is one of my favorites , usually make it with kraut. Your recipe looks delicious, going to try. Is that dutch oven the same one you use to bake bread? 5 or 5.5 quart size?
Pizza looked so yummy im going to make it like that❤
Mmmm... that potato-meat-gravy dish looks yammie! But ....that sauce is called Woo-sta-sha-saus....with stress on the first syllable. ;-)))) No shi-ar at the end when the -shire is written together with something else.... ;-) Be blessed!
Your just lovely in your outfits
I love this pizza combo, but I use bbq sauce.
👋 Laura, How are you?
How was your week/day going so far?
How are you feeling mentally and physically?
What do you have and the family have planned for this weekend?
What your favs easy weeknight meal to preps?
@KentuckyNaNasHeart Thank You my sweet! 🦋🥰
Hi!! I love the sheet pan you used for your brussels... Where can I purchase??
Thanks for this inspiration and encouragement! May I ask what music you are using please?
I make this pizza like once a week. Got the recipe from your sister.
Hello, Love watching your videos specially when You cook. Can You please tell me what kind of cheese you used in your pizza. Thank you ❤
It's raw cheddar
@@ouroilyhouse Thank You very much. Sure looked delicious.
Where did you get those beautiful blue and white floral plates???? 😍
They were my grandmas!
The rice is better if you rinsed before cooking it
Where did you purchase your beautiful white canisters? The large white flour canisters? ☺️
Magnolia!
Do you make a cooked meal for both lunch and dinner.
Wow
Hi
Do you have any tips to help with morning sickness?
I love watching you cook. More so with the cast iron. I love all things cast iron ! I miss not having a family to cook for. I use to cook for a living. Then get home and cook some more for my family. Since I’m alone now, I cook a bunch of different things one day. Then eat on them all week. It’s the little things you miss at times. Sitting down to eat with others. Thank you for sharing your life with us all 😊
Beautiful meals. . thank you for sharing. This time in between late winter and spring can start to feel a bit tired for me as far as cooking goes so this was a nice lift.
Where did you get the beige colored bowls that you are always using?
I think your sister from Farmhouse on Boone has the same ones. I need some bowls like that : )
They were thrifted 😄
What do you freeze your bone broth in when freezing it?
How do you get the gelatinous bone broth? I use all organic, free range, grass fed, all the things good but it never is jelled. Am I using too much water?
Here is my recipe: www.ouroilyhouse.com/instant-pot-bone-broth/
👏🏻
Your hair is beautiful up with the flower
Thank you so much!!
So, anyone wanting to make healthy food or who must cook because they can’t afford to go out, spends a lot of time in the kitchen. Number of kids doesn’t make it more time, honestly. I’m a midlife mama of many who can testify to that 😊. It just FEELS like it’s a lot of time. Lol
Your kitchen must be filled with warmth and delicious aromas! We sent you an email, please take a look.
Did you ever go to NYC?
Or did I miss the video
Yes, we did around Christmas!! I didn't make a video on it!
Wow so many children
Never refrigerate tomatoes
Do you use the red raspberry leaf tea all throughout the pregnancy? Just wondering because I've been trying to research that.
I start it in the second trimester.
@@ouroilyhouse ok thanks
I love watching your videos but I always wonder where all your children are? Mine are always by me and under my feet♡
Mine are under my feet too. Just right out of view of the camera 😉
You and your sister are beautiful. Although when the both of you are pregnant you and sis blossom.
😵💫I’m surprised that you don’t own a stand mixer as much as you bake!
