- At 325 feet, it's the tallest giga coaster on the planet! Add to that a top speed of 95 mph with plenty of airtime to boot and it looks like B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) have built their best yet. At least it appears that way from the rider's reactions.

Charlotte Hornets NBA team's colors. Charlotte was once called the Hornet's Nest during the US Revolutionary War. Excellent local themeing. Just another thing they did right with this ride.

Amnesia is here to save. That might be the case for you but for my friend this ride was the scariest thing he has ever done and hated it... Me being a roller coaster rider I love things like this but he just didnt XD

B&M's restraints (like the ones on this coaster) are the greatest in the world. Not restrictive at all, comfortable, allows for insane airtime; and most importantly, nobody has ever been ejected on a B&M, ever...

Yep, most big rides like this have this type of restraint, Leviathan, Behemoth, Ride of Steel... The list goes on.
In my opinion Ride of Steel's is even worse
That is the only reason I would not ride Nitro when I went to SFGA.
This is the classic B&M restraints, they permit great air times and they are very comfortable too ^^
B&M clam shell restraints are very common on big coasters and are very safe! :)

I went on this ride 2 weeks ago. The speed and height of this coaster is amazing. in my opinion, the best in the southeast by far.
Michael Knight not even close. Ride the hulk, Hagrids adventure, cheetah hunt, kumba etc they’re all 10x as intense as this. They’re a lot more fun too.

Khalid Asaad the g force on fury 325 is nothing. Also they arent classified as accelerators, that’s a proprietary term used by Intamin manufacturing co to classify their launch coasters which include maverick and cheetah hunt etc. it just means the coaster is launched instead of a chain lift. You’re classified as general public in the coaster community and I understand why you think fury is awesome lol. It’s a good coaster but it’s nothing special. Ride intimidator 305 if you want g force and speed. It blows fury out of the water.

When i went on the Fury, i promise you it felt like my soul left my body. It was so much fun and scary at the same time. It's my favorite roller coaster ever.

Right when the video started, I would have bet $1000 that the first person to put his hands down and hold on to the restraint would be the dude with the glasses and grey sweatshirt. Sure enough, he lasted about 10 seconds after the first drop!

+Charisma catty noir Gladden the only way is to force yourself to ride it. It's pretty intense so if you're not experienced with riding coasters, ride towards the end of the day

Best ride at Carowinds hands down the first couple times I went I was nervous about riding it but as soon as I rode it I fell in love and the lap restrains don't look that safe but they are really tight the tighten up even more while the ride is going they feel a lot more secure than the intimidator those are loose as hell.

I've ridden the front a few times. It's definitely a different ride; the wind is much more intense. Greatest ride I've been on. Tops Mf and Int 305.

Going down to Carowinds for the first time ever, later this year. CoasterForce, or anyone who's ridden what's the airtime and forces like on this? It seems there are a lot of pops of airtime on the turns, and it's pretty twisty but I know B&Ms don't have tons of force. What is it like? Thanks! Cant wait to ride

yugioh guy Vertical G is positive and negative vertically. And I said max, so yes, positive. There are also lateral (side to side) G forces.

I rode this yesterday in the front seat, I am 4'11 and I weigh 100 pounds and I felt very safe. There is a seat belt and the lap bar. It's very secure and a great ride

+Andrew Moon Your missing out if you don't. It feels very secure to me. The restraints are adequate. This is the best coaster I have ever been on! Can't wait to ride again in a couple of weeks when I go back for scarowinds. I was on yesterday and a little kid beside me passed out. I spent the last half of the ride trying to bring him around so that was not a good experience. Thankfully he ended up ok as far as I know. I have rode it several times now and I am addicted. Can't get enough!

How did you get away with Filming it?? They made my buddy take off his Gopro anytime they saw it...even Delaying the start of afterburn saying no cameras were allowed...
Drewskidelmar This video was filmed by the park on the coaster's media day, but we arrange permission to film on rides before visiting parks. You can't just show up with a GoPro camera and expect them to allow you to film without arranging to do so with the park beforehand.

I'd rather ride the new Fury 325, as Intamin coasters are NEVER to be trusted at any time. Look at my tear jerkers on why Bizarro SFNE is dead last in my personal rankings...

Bizarro SFNE's ejection in 2004 is the infamous tear jerker that made me distrust Intamin coasters at any height, speed, or airtime measure.
SarahPToadstool Are you daft? The reason that accident happened WASN'T the coaster's fault AT ALL. The person should have NEVER been allowed to ride, being handicapped and overweight, and the ride attendants should have NEVER allowed him on. His OWN family said they should have never allowed him on!! Don't go spilling false shit about a perfectly safe and fine coaster around social media. I have ridden Bizarro so many times I can't count anymore (living near New England) and trust me, it's safe (plus now has several modifications that were put in place)!

It largely stems from my unusual ranking of the coasters that emphasize the origin of a fear of roller coasters to the process of overcoming them. It often induces massive culture shock to those unfamiliar with the idea of a fairly odd coaster enthusiast...

Just left the park a couple hours ago. Was hotter than Hades. I thought I was going to have heat stroke. It was so hot, in fact, that all the food establishments and carts were giving out free ice water. Had to be 95 and humidity above 80%. Anyway, I rode this many times (3 front, 1 back and several in the middle). After Leviathan being a bit of a disappointment, this one delivered. It's pretty intense. Maybe not as forceful in ways that I305 is, but the overbanks are killer and it has some great airtime hills. The speed keeps up through most of the ride, and the open cars help this to bury I305, in my opinion. Move over MF, this hornet has a sting.
It actuslly splits the boarder between north carolina and south carolina, i only live about 45 mins so its not that bad

+Perry There is no weight limit. If you fit into the seat with the restraint locked you can ride. If the restraint doesn't lock you can't ride.
