- 👋 Here is the newest generation 8Y Audi RS3! Check out our 2024 Audi RS3 finished in Turbo Blue to see what this sport sedan is all about! The new 2024 Audi RS3 packs an inline 2.5 liter 5 cylinder turbo engine with 401 horsepower and 369 torque! With the Quattro AWD and 7 Speed S Tronic DCT the new RS3 can do 0-60 MPH in 3.3 seconds! Our 2024 RS3 was $65,600 with just having the RS Technology Package. The styling with the new RS3 is very bold with some sharp lines and a wide front end. The front bumper is pretty much all grille finished in gloss black and does have big openings all around for maximum cooling to the radiators and intercooler. Front track width is almost 3in wider than the rear, so it does look a bit off from the back driving. I like the wide front fenders and the sharp lines in back with the oval shape exhaust tips. The interior of the 2024 Audi RS3 has nice Nappa leather on the seats with red stitching in the honeycomb pattern. You will also see matte carbon fiber on the dash board and alcantara in the doors! Tech works great as you would expect and looks premium! The new 2024 RS3 drives very smooth! Comfortable and quiet during normal driving and very refined feeling. In dynamic mode and then the RS performance modes the 2024 RS3 wakes up and is very fast! I love how responsive everything feels and you can tell the engine just wants to run! The steering is my only complaint. I'm not a fan of how it feels. Just doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. I wish it was more mechanical feeling. Overall tho the 2024 Audi RS3 is a great practical sedan with all the luxuries of a premium Audi and packs some series performance to be a tru sportscars that can outrun several other cars that have bigger engines!

Just traded my S3 for RS3. Love the RS3 and miss the S3. So far I've noticed the S3 more nimble and responsive. RS3 bit heavier on the steering and not as twitchy on acceleration. More like a freight train compared to the S3 with lots of top end.
I really like the POV camera setup, it frees up both hands to do things.

I’m strongly considering getting an RS3 when my 2018 (B9) S4 nears 100,000 miles. The biggest downside is that the RS3 has a cheapened interior compared to the older and less expensive S4. The S4 also has my preferred dash layout with a central round tach and central digital mph and gear position indicator. The steering is something I can used to. The seeming disconnect between the front and rear axles might be partly due to the rear differential, which is like the one I optioned in my S4. Besides the I-5 motor, the small size and relatively low weight are major attractions for me.
You can set up the round dials to be on all the time

@BrosFOURRSpeed , the steering feel you talk about at the end could also be part of how the car is balanced and puts the power down. I suggest trying to drive it in different modes such as Dynamic mode. Please report back. Nice video and car. If things go well I might pick up an 8Y around Christmas time.
Yeah we've been driving it a bit more since this. Been playing with RS Performance and Dynamic Mode. Also the RWD setting. SO I'm slowly dialing in how it feels. I'll definitely make an update video as we get a few mods on the car and run it in more

Oh cool! There should be some that go into the tow hook. That way you don't need to screw holes into your bumper. I'm sure there are universal ones on Amazon. We don't have front tags here so I don't have experience with them

We don't have a light strip on the dash, just the matte carbon

Depends on what better means. The RS3 is a faster car and more performance focused. RS5 is a bit more luxurious. Personally I would buy the M3 Comp over the S5 since they cost the same. I'd go for a used S5 Sportback if I wanted that one. Can get those for $40k and have a good blend. I don't think the RS5 is performance focuses enough to wear the RS badge.

If you had a choice between the Audi S3 and RS3 - which would you choose?
Currently, I am the market for a new car and have narrowed my options down to those two options. Unfortunately, none of the local dealerships ever have either of those models in stock and when they do that are immediately sold - so I am unable to test drive either.
I am seeking an executive luxury daily driver with power/kick and extremely smooth shifting. I have no intention of ever drifting but tend to have a lead foot on the highway lol so would like the ability to do high speeds easily.
The 5 cylinder engine on the RS3 sounds so tempting but I wonder if it's too much uneeded boost during quick trips around town.

An S5 sportback would be a great option for a daily. A bit smoother transmission, plenty of power and more space. We might consider one of those if this car gets too small. So not a bad alternative.

We had the Giulia Quad for a week and it was a ton of fun! I need to drive the RS3 more. We're still slowly running it in. Havent really driven it too hard. I drove the Alfa really hard and loved it! So far this definitely has better tech. But that Alfa was a blast! $20k difference tho. But I feel they are each worth their price and a lot of fun. Alfa handles a bit better and steers more direct. But this has much better traction. Still need to drive the RS3 harder as we break it in

@@BrosFOURRSpeed the audi is better handling. Wider wheels on the cars would greatly increase the handling too. Obviously with an 20k price diff it might feel better idk.
@@user-wi4ci2jo4u Steering in the Alfa is better. It’s more direct. The wider front wheels and the FWD biased drivetrain make the RS3 handle weird under acceleration. RS3 has better traction tho. But the Alfa is awesome to drive. I’d rather have the Audi tho. Alfa tanks in value day one. RS3 is worth more than I paid lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yeah well 20k difference you might aswell just buy wider wheels on the rs3 to have alot better handling. And I don't know if this is still valid but I heard that alfas are unreliable like on bmw level. But maybe it changed I'm not sure
The drive looks fantastic! But would a 5-cylinder jog up more issues later like vibration, or torque imbalance etc? You wouldn't face it now because it is rather new. Perhaps, give us an update much later and cheers.
I don't think people have had issues like that with the RS3 platform. Plenty of 100k mile 8V RS3's out there. Seems like a solid engine that pretty robust

I think you can swap out the steering for q Alcantara. One flat bottom might help
We could have order this with the Alcantara wheel. But we like the perforated leather better. I like the wheel, just wish it was a tad smaller with the flat bottom. Might get a cool aftermarket one at some point
Only the oem round steering wheel has the sensors for lane assist.

It's not like we were on the edge of our seat waiting lol. Bough the S3 in the meantime and really enjoyed that car. We weren't in a rush for the RS3 to arrive. But with allocations and limited production that's how it was.

@@raajivsaivasudevan512 Still the same. Each Audi dealer only has a few allocations per year. So plan 18 months. M3 you could order and have in 6 months.

I love audi, but they seriously need to update their interiors. I've already bought 3 other cars since I had this same Audi interior from 7 years ago.....
It's nothing too fancy but looks nice. This does have the newer style tho. When they get too fancy it can get too much of a distraction

Great option for sure! CT4 is a tad larger. This has better tech and refinements. Be a close one! We had a bight bee CT4V BW for a week and it was some fun!

Yeah I think the one we had was about $75k. This was $65k. I think this car is a bit more performance feeling having the DCT rather than the 10 speed auto.

Not worth it. That package also requires an additional $1,000 sport exhaust. I'll be changing the exhaust anyways. And really don't mind the blue on the roof and chrome badges. I also like the contrast on the wheels. I can also make the roof and badges black on my own if I really wanted to

The shiny black flares in the front grill make the front end look cheap. I miss the look of the 2020 S3/RS3. That generation was sporty yet elegant. These new generations look like they're trying too hard.
Yeah the grille takes some getting used to. We now have the car lowered and it makes it look way better! Something about the wider stance and lower ride high takes your eye off the grill and you notice the wide fenders more. Check out some of our newer RS3 video to see the stance

lol. However I sold my GTR for my Lamborghini. We sold the S3 for the RS3.
I do love how the RS3 has a lot of characteristics that my GTR had. So it's a great car that can fill a bit of the GTR void. Lambo takes car of the rest and then some ;)
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh gotcha.. I sold a 991 c4s for the gtr.. Which I did have a 09 gtr in 2008 (on of the first) and had some nostalgia for one again which lead me to the 13 gtr. I think I'm going 718 cayman gt4 manual (will be my 55th car ever) and new audi rs3 for a good two car solution. I'm mad we don't get the rs3 hatch

Yea did you ever consider the rs6 avant.. It's just near double the price of the rs3.. Not sure worth it.. Rs3 hatch would have been perfect
@@shahulhusman I’d like one at some point. But we don’t need a car that big right now. RS3 is my wife’s car. She likes a smaller car. In the future an SQ8 or RS6 would be something we’d look at if we need the space

That car is good and all but it’s a lot less bang for your buck. Less performance -too simple-less comfort-and yet still costs more than this spec for spec.
Not sure where bmw got the idea that the m340i was worth $10k+ more than a m240i.
Thats a fun car for sure. I have a review coming of one that costs about the same as this. RS3 is much faster and better handling. Also has nicer seats and the DCT makes this feel more performance focused. M340i is larger so it's a bit better for space to use for cargo. But a bit toned down in performance. Still a fun car to drive and has everything you could need. But the RS3 is a step up in performance. You just sacrifice space.

@@hg1496 it definitely does, m340i is basically just a 330i m sport with a b58, the rs3 has a wider stance in the front for better handling, not to mention the Audi rs3 has much faster lap times at Nurburgring.

Why did they get rid of the tiptronic gear shifter. This pathetic thing in middle makes it look girly and gimmicky. Sigh.. impressive car RS3 is always a beast but these little changes they do are annoying and most usually forced upon. Let me guess in 2026 its going to be half hybrid electric b.s ERGHH. Im still probably going get one. but goddam i wish they didnt change the shifter.
Yeah the little shifter is different. Tons of cars are doing it. I like how it's out of the way. But it's also nice to shift on the shifter instead of just paddles.
yeah its a wierd thing i guess we have to adapt too. I saw on another channel someone with rs3 2022 onwards that they heard they may bring shifter back in newer models, but we will see. anyway i am thinking getting one next week. Fingers crossed haha What attracted me to the car was its actually little bit quieter then previous models. I was tossing up between genesis g70, redpsort stinger etc but figured this is more appealing, little bit more expensive but definatly worth it. That dam shifter tho lol @@BrosFOURRSpeed

Yes your right. I just had a conversation with my finance consultant adviser and he advised to stay away from other vehicles like genesis stinger etc because i was contemplating one of those instead, but he said the rs3 will hold its value better and advised me to get one of these instead . which i now most likely will.
