I tried a maximum range test on all modes with a Pint. My weight is 153.5 lbs, the terrain was a large parking lot with 4 feet of elevation change, tire pressure was 18.5 and the battery had 83 charging cycles, with a net degradation of 4.15%. On Redwood, my mileage was 13.0, Pacific 11.7, Elevated 11.2, and Skyline 10.6. It took over 5 hours of riding just below pushback, a sore front knee, and the most boring rides of my life, but it proves Redwood gets the best range. Pro Tip: If you think you won't make it to your destination, change the mode to Redwood to save battery. It's saved me countless times when low on battery.
5:41 I went as fast as 25.1mph on my Pint once, it was AMAZING, the wind, the speed, the feeling!!! ...But there was a car coming up behind me and as I looked back I wobbled and fell right on the side of my forehead and I don't remember much after that, I didn't wear a helmet cuz it was suposed to only be a short ride. But I woke up later in an ambulans driving me to a hospital, they told me that I were extremely lucky to not get any permanent brain damage or a broken neck. Then the doctors told me the same. It ended with me getting 4 stitches on the side of my right eyebrow. Speed is amazing but also scary and now I have a hard time going over 12mph... I now always wear a helmet tho.
I've only had mine a few days and my only real fall was from looking behind me at a car coming up. It just threw my newbie balance off and I did a split. Car just kept going lol
Learning how to ride a onewheel was pretty easy for me, I was zipping around my city in 2 days. I started learning in the first mode sequoia, but I feel like the moment I switched it to mission I immediately got better at it
Good to see ya back on one wheel! 🤕👍🐢 I'm generally getting about 22 miles range on XR, weight 150lbs, tire Burris 6inch tx33 at 16.5 psi, riding flat ground tarmac and concrete. I really like the hard tread on the burris tx33 it's very durable and I think gives better mileage than a soft rubber tire. I'll add a couple of mileage tips; 6; stand very sideways, with your shoulders lined up with the board, that reduces air drag and really helps if you have any headwind. Obviously no backpack. 7; Accelerate really gentle, resist the urge to take off hard. I ride with aggressiveness set to 9 (Slydog's old settings) which is like delirium, but accelerating real gently reduces battery drain and makes it economical like mission. 🙂🐓
@@Fordged yeah I'm really happy with it. I think the tire pressure has to be "hard" for your bodyweight so for a heavier rider you might need 20psi etc to roll easy. Plus the riding on smooth tarmac/concrete on flat ground helps. The Burris is rounded so it rolls really easy on smooth tar. You helped me setup my tire pressure Fordged! 😋😁
I did a nosedive at 27mph on my onewheel xr lol. I dont even know how I got it up to that speed but the app has it marked as my top speed now. Crazy enough I just got some roadrash up my side and my hand got scraped up a bit too. Now I really respect the one wheel and i'm scared to speed
Im 135 lb, i had regen of 7 percent and got 11.4 miles and got it down to 5 percent and i was on skyline the whole time on my pint, so its def more than 6-8 miles
I just got my onehweel last week and I tried it out at 2 am in 35 degree weather, late flight..I tried it in sequoia and genuinely I did not like it..I learned how to stand on it and move a bit then I switched it to delirium and rode about a mile to the gas station and back. Been on D since then, 53 miles in..a few falls but nothing I can't heal from!
Three weeks in and it is night and day. Still some healing to be done but much better. Thanks so much for always engaging, bud! Hope your family and daughter are all doing well!
As high as possible but still comfortable for you to ride. Trial and error is your friend but be aware the ride becomes less forgiving the higher psi you ride
Did you take into consideration the 5% error in distance measured (per revolution) from going from an 11.5” Vega tire to an 11” tire? That’s a 1 mile per charge distance error.

But is it redwood, or is it lower speed? ;)
@@_Alex_Sander Likely both.

i know it is pretty off topic but does anyone know a good site to watch new movies online?
@Jameson Dillon try FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Kingsley Mohammed Yup, I have been watching on FlixZone for years myself :)
@Kingsley Mohammed thank you, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it!
@Jameson Dillon You are welcome xD
I learned how to ride with 20 psi and I can’t go lower it’s just a way of life now
Great tips.💯
Lose weight to gain mileage. Got it. 😆😆😆
And knowing is half the battle 😂
This video is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you 👌🏼
Absolutely! 👍
I freaking love hilly smooth fields with some dimension to them, its like surfing going uo and down 6 to 10 foot mowed hills, so much fun
Gonna need a trigger warning on this.
My precious little Vega was watching when you stomped that poor rubber boi into the bin ;)
Everyone knows my videos are NSFW (Not safe for Wheels)
Poor rubber boi rest in peace
Good to see ya back on one wheel! 🤕👍🐢

That's great mileage for a traded tire at that PSI!

Happy riding!
I'm 6'9" 300 lbs I get about 9 miles a charge and start to get pushback at around 16mph.
I do not use skyline or mission on my one wheel plus. It's set up how I like it but it's close to mission but more loose and like 1 mph higher
Glad you are feeling better ... sure I’ll go as “HELLO MCFLY”...I’m sure she’s never heard that one before

Nice Nate! I’m all about distance. Sequoia for maximum range!
Ok I don't think I have EVER ridden in sequoia... Nothing bad to say about it?
Nate Fordged it takes forever to get anywhere in sequoia!
Type of tire as well. Hoosier treaded tire impose a lower pressure, like 1 bar. Consume more battery for same mileage.
Good edit buddy
Thanks! Getting Into the groove with the new can and such 🙏
Anyone seeing that screw he's got hanging out of his float plate at 2:50? Hah!
What psi should I keep my pint?
As high as possible but still comfortable for you to ride. Trial and error is your friend but be aware the ride becomes less forgiving the higher psi you ride
I use 12 to 15, anyhigher and I can't bonk over some obstacles over 2 inches tall, learned that after having it at 20 after using it at 12 for a month
nice vid ur funny as hell dude🤣
Nice tire change footy :P We should team up again soon! Miss ya bud. Great work as usual.
Dude absolutely ❤️
Hi Nate, what I like the most about your riding style as you are no chickenshit, lol.

Find a buddy that will let you bumper shine tgeircwheels and re gen your battery all day even if you forgot your charger:)
Poor Mr. Googly eye man on your wheel-lost an eyeball in the crash ⚰️
RIP in peace lost eyeball 👁️😭
Did you mean mission and PACIFIC?
I did 😂
Tire Sire sighting.... 👀
bros gonna get canceled
RIP to my UA-cam career 😩
@@Fordged haha 😂 you’re right tho. i dropped 15 pounds in like a month n half and definitely see the difference
