Favorite one wheel hack: using industrial tape to protect the board instead of expensive OEM side protection, even better given I found it on this channel!!! makes the board look gnarly and rugged as well!! 😁
One of the first things I do is unplug my Bose Soundwave horseshoe and put it around my neck and the last thing I do at night is plug it in to charge. Riding my EUC all day, it provides around 8-12 hours of great sound. I love it.
We just got pints for our family of 4 about a month ago and I have to say that your videos and reviews have been super helpful and inspiring! Thank you for making them! Like you, we are loving the FloatLife!!
#ferocious Since I got my first Onewheel just last month, I'd say I'm pretty new. So my hack is in order to stay on the Onewheel longer, try to maintain slightly bent knees so you don't end up with scratched knees! Not much but over time, I really hope to get it down to where it comes natural to me and like it's second nature!
Another great way to listen to music safely while riding is getting the Bose sunglasses, this eyewear not only provides you with nice visibility under the sun but also enables you to access to your favorite music without compromising safety because it will still allow you to be alert of your surroundings. I love my Bose sunglasses and wear them every time along with my helmet on.
I used my belt I wear for work as a make shift shoulder strap to carry my XR. I had no idea they make longer straps that are called yoga straps... I may get one of those since it’s longer. Thanks for the info JC!
My favorite one wheel hacks are land surf fangs, to prevent those nose dives & grip tape erasers to get the tape nice and grippy again after some hard & dirty trail riding. #ferocious
I honestly think the best hack is #1! You gotta have that fender! I just got my pint and I can’t wait to go on adventures with it, onewheel for life! #ferocious
Hi Jimmy, my favorite Onewheel hack of yours to date was converting a milk crate into a Onewheel car holder and it works very well but it takes up much more space than the Ferocious Onewheel holder that you're giving away. I'd like to evolve to that holder.
My favorite onewheel hack was the milk crate hack because I can use it as a stand. And also wash & do maintenance on my onewheel with many different positions. #ferocious 😊
After looking for a sidecar suitable for a full-suspension ebike & finding _nothing_ suitable, I had the ridiculous & slightly insane idea to build a miniature sidecar upon a OneWheel. ... Now that I've thought of it, the idea keeps coming back! So silly; yet it might actually work out better than most trailer/sidecar designs, if done right?
Does that milk crate trick work with both the XR and Pint or just the Pint? I'm thinking about strapping a milk crate to my e bike so i have my one wheel too and ride out to a nice spot, ride the one wheel there and ride back home on the ebike. Ditching the van as much as i can!
The Bose wearable speakers are my favorite hack because I’ve been wanting to listen to music but want to avoid not being aware of my surroundings! #ferocious
Another great video! I remember watching your Onewheel hacks video and loving the milk crate car stand. I use milk crates for everything Onewheel related. A #ferocious trunkstand would be such a RAD upgrade! Float on!
Hey Jimmy! Big fan here, you are the reason sir why I got myself a onewheel pint. I just ordered my xr and it should be coming next week or so. My favorite hack is the #ferocious milk crate car holder for one wheel! Stay awesome jimmy!
#ferocious love the milk crate hack. It also holds charger and gear and it’s cheap! Great video as always. Two weeks in, broke a 100 miles without incident. Ride everyday will full safety gear! Not bad for 51 YOA.
I'm a huge fan of the bone conducting headphones! Use them on all my rides. I recently began a OW trail riding focused channel and am going to begin doing tips and reviews like you've done. If you ever make it out to Colorado I'd love to show you some of the amazing trails we've got around here. Keep up the awesome work 👏
Hey great video as all ways!!! I'm looking for a product similar to the fangs, to prevent the dreadful nose dip for my onewheel original. Any ideas or product suggestions!?
I literally spit my drink out at Reading Riding Rithmetic. That was honestly, a VERY high quality pun. You have even more of my respect, Jimmy. Bless your heart. Also, fun video! There's been a bit of a drought recently on the Onewheel UA-cam space, so I'm grateful for your content. Cheers!
Thanks Mario! Good to hear from you. I thought you would enjoy that bit. As I tell my kids, it takes higher level intelligence to appreciate the puns that dad's come up with.
#ferocious. My favorite Hack is the trunk mount. I just purchased a one wheel pint which will arrive Monday July 6th and have been wondering how I’m going to travel with this thing in my camper van! This is the ticket. Thanks for helping me decide to purchase a pint. #ferocious 👍😊. Colorado is 🏠
In my opinion, the Earthsurf vinyl wrap is a nice way to catch the attention from any other OneWheel users by using some special colors you wouldn't see from the website. #ferocious
Jimmy! Awesome video, I love the innovative ideas you come up with. I was so excited to see my recommendation for the yoga strap make the video! I liked your take on it with the fastening strap going through the body of the OW. Great job and thanks for the tips! #ferocious
Overall good video. Great insights like the earbud/headphones & less great insights like the socks. I wish you would've gone into more detail on some of the products.
Hi Jimmy - you put out great content for the community. Thank you! Also - you forgot your 4th R - “RunWheel”! My favorite “hack” (more like a workaround) to deal with my horrible Bluetooth connection is to put my phone in my pocket (so that it’s closer to the board’s BT antenna), and just using my Apple Watch to look at the board stats. #ferocious
Great idea. But I have been told by many riders and companies to not, absolutely never use locktight... So I think maybe ask and get a 2nd opinion on that one upgrade . The rest are definite good and smart ideas.

Hey Jimmy great video! I’m 185 lbs and 5’9”. Would you recommend the Pint? I will mostly be doing city - not trail - riding. I’ve just noticed that many reviewers who have both Pint and XR tend to ride the XR.
I'm bigger than you, and I just got my pint a week ago. I'm having a ton of fun. I will admit that sometimes I wish I had the surface area the XR pads offer, and I've had to bail a couple times due to the 'squirrel-iness' but no problems yet. My longest ride so far has been only 5 miles and just before I hit that, I received the 50% battery notification, I checked and it said my projected range was expected to be around 9 miles, I was shocked. I knew people have been getting well over the advertised mileage, but I am thrilled that as a bigger dude, I'm still getting the high end of the expected range. Just as a sidenote, I looked up authorized onewheel dealers in my area, I found one close to me and arranged a demo with the XR and pint for 20 bucks. Well worth it if you've never stepped on a board
Not a bad idea with that carbon vinyl but I got lucky enough to find someone selling a mint xr that had the carbon fender! It’s sick looking with the Hoosier slick flightfin
My favorite Onewheel hack is by far the socks. You've got to pick up some #ferocious socks to let people know you're as rad as the oneradwheel you're controlling. My favorite for riding my OW pint are my red cherry socks and pink flamingo socks! Great video and thanks for running this giveaway!

I definitely need my fender that didn't make it to me before I left for vacation. That will be my favorite upgrade. I've already road rashed my ankle twice on my tire. #ferocious
Some great stuff here, for sure. Instead of a yoga strap, I keep a dyneema loop in my kit (smaller and stronger). As you show, you can use it to create a carry sling, or even a pull cord to pull the OW along the ground. I'd love to get a trunk stand, though! #ferocious
@@Josef_R Hands get tired. Easier to use your back strength if you have to walk any distance. That said ... I keep a good eye on my charge level and haven't had to do a "dead walk" for months now.
Jimmy, just bought one wheel xr. Question, I haven’t seen much to give me the warm fuzzy concerning bearing swap outs. Doesn’t look like the official site sells bearings or equipment to change them, I saw one video with a guy doing it and it looks complicated to say the least. I'm glad you talked about having good socks haha. Tall ankle socks are a great idea because if you're still learning to ride and are without a fender. I learned the hard way when I did a burnout on my ankle. Great vid as always Jimmy!
"and if you're like me you've packed on a few pandemic pounds, watching the news and worry eating" bro I felt this on a personal level. It's unhealthy for me to be the recommended 180lb rider, but I'm officially below the 220lb max cap of the pint.

Hi jimmy
What do you think of Spraying the underside of the Finder with Truck Bed Liner to quite the small pebbles hitting the Fender from the Tire?
Great idea! ua-cam.com/video/ddPCtUu7rpg/v-deo.html
Gotta love that C&R fender. Mine came 2 days ago and I just love the convenience of being able to pop it off whenever! #ferocious
This was hilarious. Definitely buying a onewheel at some point. The new Pint X looks great.
Im a videographer and I’ve found that gaff tape works well for protecting the rails on my pint. Right now I’m rocking chroma key green on mine ;)
