Wow, there's certain important details that a lot of explanations seem to miss out on, but Kyle hit the mark with every single one of these. And shoutout to the body varial tip on pushing your toes up! It's something I've never really thought to actively think of or do when I'm jumping flat footed, but the moment I tried after watching, the board stayed rock solid every single time. Definitely gonna be using that when teaching others 🤙
You can see when he’s “de-weighting” that his hoodie lifts and floats, that’s just a visible demonstration of the momentum gaining influence over gravity👌 its mostly intuitive once you start practicing
Thanks for the video Kyle. I've always wanted to learn how to bonk, but couldn't get the coordination or confidence to commit to it. But your video was very clear and the key element / takeaway for me was the "pre-load". For some reason crouching for the pre-load helped me overcome the fear of "tripping" over the obstacle im trying to bonk. And crouching for the preload really makes the following de-weight work so much better. Thanks!
Yo… not blowing smoke up your ass here but this is one of the most useful trick tip videos I’ve ever seen. Everything is so well explained and nothing seemed glossed over. As soon as it gets dark I’m gonna try all three out with a fresh perspective 🤙
Hand's down one of the best in breaking down and detailing how to do these tricks, I think I've watched this vid at least a dozen times . I've watched a lot of others out there as well; the only thing I wish these vids would include is what the best: tire pressure, tire used, and riding mode is being used or to use. I just need to wait till it stops snowing outside for me to try these out... gr8 job
Kyle ! Because of you I bought the mini fins, after lots of reviews. They arrive tomorrow! Super pumped! And your trick tips are great. ... you kinda remind me of Jim Halpert .. 🤘😀
Gotta second what I read. Have watched videos for a few weeks on the same tricks and my guy here actually threw in some easy explanations that helped me that I didn’t hear before. The deweight without actually jumping and the toe life to keep the weight in heels also the toe side and heel side of the wheel really helped me. I was trying to spin on the flat of the tire before so this made it easy!!! Good vid
Great job, I really like the detail that you offer. A question about the revert move. Your instruction as to how the board reacts differently when toe side vs heel side seems to be specific to the square profile of the XR tire. As a Pint rider is the procedure the same?
The Pint tire is a lot more round than the XR tire, but the procedure is the same. With the Pint you just won't need to lean very far onto the edge when reverting. You really don't need to lean on the edge on any board, you just want to put all your pressure towards that inside edge. I exaggerate the lean a lot in the video but its more just the pressure toward the inside. Hope that helped 👍
Yo another good suggestion of body variable is learn them spinning your body frontside spin not backside like I learned them cause backside has a blind aspect to it do a video showing backside spin varials cause your head on a backside spin does a 360 so it’s tough
I was pumped because I thought he said "D Wade" (number three from the Miami heat) But was saddened when I finally realized he said, D weight. I might just start saying D Wade anyways 😂😂
If I could give a small teaching tip ... with physical skills like onewheel tricks, follow the sequence of demonstrate, explain, (and if you’re with live students), imitate. Show the trick first without any explanation. Then explain what you did and what to think about, such as keeping your toes up. Then get the students to imitate it. If you explain before demonstrating, people have nothing to relate your explanation to.

Sweet! Share the knowledge 👐
best instruction video on reverts yet
Thank you! Reverts are siiiicckkkkkkk 🤘
This dude's a good teacher. Very nice, looks fun. :)
I've been de-weighting my reverts and just muscling through the spin with the wheel mostly flat. Nice tip on focusing the toeside edge!
Just sucsessfuly attempted the Revert & I'm able to repeat! Thanks for the simple instructions! You ROCK!
SWEEETTTT YOU ROCK! 🤘
Best trick tutorial I’ve seen. I’d cut the vape part at the end. My 10 yr old asked me if “vapes really taste like cotton candy?”Otherwise great stuff
Thank you! Don't want that, had to cut it 👍
Thanks for the rad tips, can't wait to jump on my GT and give it a go
Gunna be rad on the GT!

Very smooth delivery. You are good at teaching as well as riding. You are a natural when teaching.
Thanks for the stoke! 🤘

Thank you for the stoke!!! We will try to get that info into the trick videos, thats a good idea.
Great tutorial, easy-to-follow!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Almost gave up on reverts lol. No one explain them with this much detail. Not even Jake Leary lol. Gonna get out there and practice them again. 👍🏾👍🏾
You sure make it looks pretty easy👊🏼
GREAT breakdown! thank you!
Awesome instructions. You break it down to explain everything a person or newb (like me) needs to focus on. GJ
Sweet! Glad you enjoyed the break down.
Kyle, I've been struggling with all of these tricks. Can't wait to try your tips in the morning ...
Hopefully these instructions will help you!!!
@@WheelFunStuff Thank you. My 180s are already looking better!

Man, this is a great lesson - I appreciate the toes at the top of your shoes trick! Cheers!
I'm not attempting this any time soon because I just got my OneWheel 3 days ago, but its fun to see what's possible!
Awesome detail explaining the tricks learned a lot thanks

Killed it with the tips Kyle! Definitely keeping that toe trick in mind moving forward 🤘🏽🥰
Sickkk, glad you grabbed a tip from it!
Love the overall vibe Kyle 🤙🏻❤️🥳
Yewwww vibez for dayzzz!

Really good tips. Nice Greetings from Germany :-)
Glad you liked them! Germany is rad 💖
Love the warehouse
THX a lot .... for the Tipps ...GREAT
I just dropped a video as well, and also talked about getting into Onewheeling 🤣 Great minds! Miss you guys.
Heyyyy radd!!!! Im gunna check it out
smooth
Cheers 🖖
how and where did you get circular orange around your wheels/tires?
These are called Life Savers from The Float Life. They protect your rim and come in a couple different colors!
Great content 🎉😮❤
what psi do you ride on for tricks?
Riding normally around 19 psi 👍, I weigh about 185
🔥🔥
Is that an XR with growler rails ?
Yes that is a growler build. Tips still work with regular XR, Pint, GT, any onewheel!
Your garage looks like my GTA5 Online auto shop.😁
Can you do a video that gives some tips on ghost riding the board?
Of course thats a great trick to learn!
i love how the 180 revert is so easy for kyle his muscle memory wants to send it 360 xD
bro no way your youtube name is that good. i bet its wheel fun running the channel
I came here for the revert lesson, I tried to revert my xr today and it didn’t budge at all lol
can i do revert with stock vega tyre?
The Vega is the best tire to learn all tricks on
It's a very hard compound so it doesn't get sticky. This makes tricks like the revert and shove it easier.
😊👍merci
im sure i could easily do all these just passing time till mine ships and comes in!
where can I get that rock?
Pro tip: turn off SimpleStop before trying to ride switch (or fakie, as we call it here down under). 😂
Honest question, what happened to "sexchange"? why body varial? am i just old?
I can feel my collar bone
Breaking
You should try and feel something else, like a healthy unbroken collar bone 👍
My body hurts after trying body variables all day. I'll land it clean eventually
👍🏾🙏🏾
Yewwww 🤘
I was pumped because I thought he said "D Wade" (number three from the Miami heat)
But was saddened when I finally realized he said, D weight.
I might just start saying D Wade anyways 😂😂
Pretty sick but first I gotta learn riding regular aswell coming from goofy
drift tutorial soon please
OOooooo drifting is a fun one!!!!

You kinda sound like Mark rober
my momma
The only correct term is bonk
Right there with ya!
@@WheelFunStuff lmao I'm mainly just trolling a lil bit. Max and some other guys in the Facebook group decided on yoinkiboops!!!
what the hell was that intro
