Harry's barrister is David Sherborne who can hardly be described as `'good value for money". He let his client go into Court one day late and unable to answer most of the question put to him. Even worse, he let him go into Court without evidence and Harry actually told the Judge that he thought he (the Judge) was getting his evidence for him. Quite unbelievable.

He also has to pay about £50,000 for another case he lost so, with interest, these two figures alone could easily increase to £1 million - AND he has 5 more cases to go so, if he lost all of those, he's looking at millions in legal fees. He was awarded costs of about £150,000 in one of his other cases but that will barely cover his legal fees.

As someone who worked in the law for over 30 years, I feel that Harry's lawyers and his barrister must have known that he had no case with his action against the DM. In his previous case, they were shown to be inept by not producing the requisite evidence, and by the sound of it, not briefing Harry properly before he spoke in the witness box. The lawyers had obviously done insufficient research because a lot of his claims were quashed almost immediately by the defence who produced evidence to the contrary of what he claimed. I worked in the City for years in various large law firms and I do not recall any of them being as inept (in my opinion) as those acting for Harry. I was astonished every time I watched to a video of what had been going on. It was a total farce.

OR they told Hazbeen and his wife what they wanted to hear (she especially would have been pushing this agenda), and went "whateve', we're getting paid pots of money anyway". Hazbeen's abilities aren't all there (passed through school and courses he didn't rightly earn; addiction to substances haven't helped him), and what I also see is someone who wouldn't be able to grasp this stuff or the odds of win/lose (a case) on his own, nor does he have confidence in his own judgment/instincts/decisions. Add to that, lots of strings are being pulled on him. All in my opinion, anyway.

You worked in law for 30 years and can only think of one set of assumptions to explain what occurred (incompetent lawyers)? No other possible explanations?
You assume the lawyers were completely incompetent (and/or corrupt since they apparently advised their client in order to line their own pockets instead of what is in client's best interest). In all your time practicing you never saw anyone that incompetent/corrupt.
However in a case involving a member of the the most famous royal family in the world, guaranteeing worldwide media attention, you believe incompetent/corrupt attorneys were hired and kept on the case? The law firm apparently didn't care about their reputation around the globe since they either didn't recognize the incompetence or knew about it and did nothing about it. These are the circumstances you believe explain Harry's prior court case, and there are no other potential explanations? Just wondering.
I too thought Harry's performance in that court case was breathtakingly abominable, but I thought there was a much more likely explanation. I'm just surprised you don't even consider it given your experience.

Being a working Royal is the sole criterion set by the Home Office. This should have ended after the first hearing. Harry's legal strategy is what we Americans call "throw the whole pot of noodles at the wall in the hope that something sticks". Last hearing, his rejected claim was that they intended to remain working Royals, but the RF didn't give them the option of staying. His claim to be ruled on for the next session is that they never wanted to leave the UK or stop being working Royals, but their 24/7 security was cut off in the UK leaving them no choice other than moving to Canada. Obviously, that's not true.

The legacy of " Royal Born" will haunt this man for the rest of his life, like his great Uncle David, The Duke of Windsor. I would suggest that since reading the judges unambiguous findings that Harry’s legal team have been working hard to get agreement from the defendants lawyers that the parties walk away and each bear their own legal costs. A condition might be that any agreement be confidential thus allowing Harry to retain a sense of pride, however false. Methinks the slaying of dragon terminology used by Harry displayed an ego untethered to reality & provided a platform for the expected pontification Harry’s becoming infamous for. Behaving as he did and using the media to publicise Harry’s narratives over a full disclosure may have been the last straw for defendant. Now Harry can have ALL the press attention warts and all

I agree with that totally, but in a way it's a crazed position to take. It immediately shows the other side just how weak you are, and quite rightly the Mail stood firm. They could read that judgment just as well as Harry's lawyers. Well done them, because they've forced out into the open the truth about how Harry thinks he is entitled to spin and dissemble and manipulate, owing simply to his position. They've also done him no favours in the underlying Judicial Review. I'm sure the Home Office lawyers will be taking full advantage of what has now been revealed.

    • @nancymoore1240
      @nancymoore1240 6 місяців тому +6

This was a unilateral dismissal of his suit by Hawwy. Not an agreement with the defence.
After all the lies he has told about them, the defence has no reason to bear their own costs to save the vicious dofus from embarrassment.
Especially when the judge practically declared the defence was going to win.
Besides, it makes a great story for the paper. I'm sure he tried to get them to sign an NDA, but why would they? They were already winning. AND, the newspaper had the real story. That's gonna sell a lot of papers.
I suspect that when H couldn't strongarm the paper into signing an NDA about the disclosures, is when he quit . My opinion only.
Remember the NDA scandal in a poverty stricken school Harlem?

Why wasn't this loss already obvious to Harry's barrister David Sherborne? In Harry's initial papers he never mentioned paying for his security himself because he wanted the British taxpayer to pay for it and he kept the lawsuit secret because he knew there would be a fuss about it.
The lawsuit was leaked and, to avoid the wrath of the British taxpayer he said he would pay for it himself. He then tried to sue the Mail on Sunday because they said he had misled the public (which he had) claiming they had ruined his reputation and credibility (really?). He then had the gall to ask the Judge to find in his favour without a trial but, when the Judge looked at his initial papers there it was - or, there it wasn't - no mention of paying for it himself so the Judge rightly concluded that he HAD misled the public and stated that the trial could go ahead because the Mail on Sunday had a good chance of arguing their case favourably and were likely to win. Job done - but Harry even had the gall to say that he'd withdrawn from the case "to protect his family and to concentrate on his security case". Quite astonishing. He just lies to the bitter end.

Harry did NOT win the phone hacking case.😏
Harry was offered a £200,000 settlement in 2012 for his measly 9 hacks. Harry refused that offer because he was greedy and wanted the settlement amount William and Catherine received for her 155 hacks and William's 59 phone hacks....settlement amount was £1.2 million for those 214 phone hacks.🤔
Why Harry thought he was entitled to the same settlement as William and Catherine is beyond insanely greedy.😐
Harry was only awarded £140,000, thus, Harry LOST £60,000 in a case that cost him much more in attorney's fees. Then the other cases are still on the table, which will cost Harry a lot more of his money, self respect, and his already trashed reputation.
Harry is a huge loser, as he has no integrity, no honor, no morals, no dignity, no class, no grace, no common sense, and absolutely no redeemable qualities.🤭

This is the second case he's lost and, for the first one which was just an interim loss, he was ordered to pay about £50,000 and told to pay this by the end of the year so December, 2023. If he doesn't pay on time then the amount will accrue interest. So far as the estimated £750,000 is concerned I believe this hasn't yet been decided by the Court but, when it does, it will no doubt put a time scale on it. Meanwhile, Harry's bank manager is having many sleepless nights unlike Harry's barrister, David Sherborne, who's probably celebrating with champagne every night over of all the money he's already made and at the prospect of all the money he's going to make out of Harry's remaining 3 lawsuits which are still pending.

@@nancymoore1240 You're right. Harry was horribly snobbish and patronising as he always is to people he meets who are far more intelligent than him. He should be honoured to meet them and grateful that they even bother to talk to him because he's clearly not at their intellectual level - and I'm talking about all the way down to tea ladies here. John Travolta was at the height of his fame when he danced with Princess Diana and, as you say, she wanted to dance with him rather than the other way round but he (JT) has never once capitalised on it as Harry had the gall to suggest. Harry on the other hand, capitalises on his mother's death at every opportunity. Even a British Army Colonel, Richard Kemp has spoken out saying there are far more deserving people than Harry who's one nothing of note and was only a gunner, not a pilot. I look forward to seeing if John Travolta allows him to fly his aeroplane - unaided.

Ask a lawyer for advice then ignore it at your cost.
I wondered if Amber Heards team ever tried to tell her she was on a loser. Some people can't recognise when they're wrong, and their echo chamber just reinforces the misguided belief.

Why is Halfwit given the heads up, he should learn from his mistakes. No one else would not be given the heads up. He should b sued.

I am not codependent enough to follow the UK royal family if Harry and Meghan return as working members of the royal family. Just one person opinion. I can just take so much than I am done.

Harry's boss - the actress, was upset with him because she wanted to redecorate the living room & upscale the flatscreen to watch reruns of herself but has had to put this on hold. One of these days if Harry does not start cashing in then he will also be replaced with someone that looks more like George Clooney !

She is no actress she only got the job because her husband was in the know with Suits. She was the most horrible awful actress. Suits decided to write her out of the programme as the rest of the cast did not want to work with the awkward sod.

Harry has the same mindset as Andrew… that everyone has to bend to his will, no matter what he says or wants.
Time for him to discover that there is a world out there and most of it thinks he’s an idiot and will defend their position and not roll over “just because”.

The question is, did Harry mislead his lawyers on the 'proof' that he claimed to have and would his lawyers have gone forward without seeing that proof, or did his lawyers mislead him on his chances of not having to go to trial? I don't think the latter. The 3rd possibility is that when having to produce documentation, something incriminating that might even not be related to the case, popped up.
E.g. the court ordered Harry to produce all emails in which he discussed the case and suppose there is one email from him in London, to his wife in california saying: "Hi honey, my deposition went well, we are going forward and when i get home we will tell you about the hitman I spoke to who will take care of William and his kids so you can become the queen". Sure, exaggerating, could even be a reference to not paying taxes, taking part in kinky sex or how he hates the queen and William, but obviously something that could hurt him

Thank you for this video - - I very much appreciated your brief and clear reading from the judges statements - - I will add also stylistically your more relaxed background setting is Very Appalling. I am sensitive to harsh light and overly centrally focused static faces in videos - and find the other set up wit you in the center of the pitched room of geometric black and white ti be uncomfortable to watch - less inviting (just my 2 cents from my perceptive apparatus ). You also seem more relaxed since the holidays and glad for you in that. Kind Regards from the frozen NE Coast of the USA

Barrister, had the case continued and defendants won, it appears to me that Harry and his barristers could have been sanctioned for bringing a frivolous lawsuit if the UK has such akin to the U.S?
