Single mothers have the tendency not to put themselves first. Most of us are even used by family members for years which is also a form of scamming. Single moms tend to project their love and empathy for their kids on others. The condition is called Helper's Syndrome in Nursing. It is a condition that one develops. I hope she and her kids get justice.

I met one, it didn't work bcs the man got too demanding too soon, and i was broke too 😂😂😂 And he was a very angry dude. He scared the living ish out of me so I blocked him

It’s either you do two-part stories or you stop with the time limits. You cover stories that are incredibly important and sensitive, it’s very impolite to rush guests. I cringe every time a guest is stopped mid-sentence to talk about “we have a minute remaining etc”. Please.
Unfortunately you’re going to have to work with what we have until we get what we want. We are using a studio where we are not the only clients there. Even with the two parts we’d still have to book the studio beforehand. Unless if someone is willing to donate an entire studio for us so That we don’t have time limits.

I think the guy who scammed her is the same guy who tried to scam me as well. Everything is the same except to me he said he was based in Cape Town. To me he asked me if I would help him financially if his business was in trouble. He asked me if I'm prepared to take a 200 000 loan if he needed it urgently. I said hell no. I would never take a loan for someone I'm not married to. Mind you, all this money talk is happening on the very first day he is talking to me on messenger. He was very friendly but as soon as I said no I will not take a loan for him he got very angry. That was the end 😂😂😂😂. He didn't want me anymore because I refused with the loan 😂😂😂.

Same guys tried me 4 years ago. I think I still have this cousin numbers, katlego. And the picture she thought it was him it's not him. But I put him in his place. I actually asked my friend who is an advocate to put them in their place. Can't be scammed by small boys.
They usually say, "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is" once anyone is overly nice and overly available, peel your eyeballs and do your due diligence. One day you will both laugh about it if it turns out you were just paranoid. Heal my sister, you are not the only one and unfortunately, you won't be the last.
Someone I once met online got mad at me for googling them to verify their existence and made me apologize for doing so without their permission yet this is the world we live in. luckily I hate aggressive people so that was our last interaction.

Some in America are even anxious to come back start building because they do not legal status to come to Kenya and go back to America as frequent as they wish. Thank you for sharing your experience with me.... I truly wish, I came across this particular video clip early enough, I would have be so equipped and informed and not fall for the same scam that aslo caused me to loss my hard earned money and put me through emotional trauma.
Am a Nigerian, it would interest you to know that same 419/scam patterns is been use here as well.
Truelly, anybody could fall for these scams.

The most i ever lost emjolweni is R700 and i was sooo hurt i called the police on the guy. I cant imagine what its like loosing R200K . I'm so sorry this happened to you sisi.

A man is a head of the family .meaning he must provide .Me don't even give a man even 50c. Last time I went with guy who was driving his scrap car.On the parking lodge he ask me R7 for parking. That moment instead iI just ask other people who were there for parking to assist him with r7 some were laughing. The white guy just gave him r20 than he has to go and ask a change to pay
I think the guy who scammed her is the same guy who tried to scam me as well. Everything is the same except to me he said he was based in Cape Town. To me he asked me if I would help him financially if his business was in trouble. He asked me if I'm prepared to take a 200 000 loan if he needed it urgently. I said hell no. I would never take a loan for someone I'm not married to. Mind you, all this money talk is happening on the very first day he is talking to me on messenger. He was very friendly but as soon as I said no I will not take a loan for him he got very angry. That was the end 😂😂😂😂. He didn't want me anymore because I refused with the loan 😂😂😂.

You've been hit by a smooth criminal. I am sure he never lost a wife, he just said it to mimic your pain so that you can relate and share a bond. Your loneliness created a room for him to maneuver, your kindness and empathetic nature made you the perfect victim. Sorry for your financial loss and please be careful people nowadays do not respect the qualities you have (kindness and Empathy) they label them as desperate and weak, they will not stop at anything to exploit them.

Same guys tried me 4 years ago. I think I still have this cousin numbers, katlego. And the picture she thought it was him it's not him. But I put him in his place. I actually asked my friend who is an advocate to put them in their place. Can't be scammed by small boys.

They usually say, "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is" once anyone is overly nice and overly available, peel your eyeballs and do your due diligence. One day you will both laugh about it if it turns out you were just paranoid. Heal my sister, you are not the only one and unfortunately, you won't be the last.
Someone I once met online got mad at me for googling them to verify their existence and made me apologize for doing so without their permission yet this is the world we live in. luckily I hate aggressive people so that was our last interaction.
We must have 1 person we trust to be able to talk to, I know is difficult because of fear of being judged. I'm really sorry for what she went through. This can actual happen to anyone.
Or have support groups of whatsapp groups of other women who we can talk to, share pictures of the men we aren't sure of

This story is like so many on Dr Phils's show. This is mostly a Nigerian scam, so if this scammer is South African, then we are in danger gevaar, our brothers have become Yahoo boys😮

Sorry lady for what has happened to you. I was also tricked with the same story. When the cousin called me with the same story, I said to him he must call his pastor to pray him out of this situation. I blocked them immediately and never accepted friend request from people I don’t know especially men

Emily you have achieved a lot at your age. You worked in America and took a bold decision to build your house and experienced living in it. Others wish they can be like you but it's not their time yet. Some in America are even anxious to come back start building because they do not legal status to come to Kenya and go
back to America as frequent as they wish. They are stucked in America and maybe can't even save money to do what you have done. Girl you are an inspiration to like minded women who are not consumed byv jealous and envy.
