The quick pierce technology is great, just wish Byrna would design a stronger launcher. The Mission 4 and TCR are good, but both still lack poweras they're both under 20 Joules.
I tested the launcher LE the first time a couple of weeks after I received it last October. Everything went fine, Today December 26, I tested it again, I loaded the CO2, and 5 Eco Kinetic. No problem after firing the first 3, then just clicks. I removed the magazine, removed the loaded projectile. I reinserted both of them, one worked, and then again just clicks. I replaced the CO2, reloaded with 5 Pro Training, just clicks it would not fire a single one. it's not funny to think that if you really need it, the launcher would jam. I noticed some people on UA-cam mentioned and show they had the same problem with the LE, it doesn't fire sometime. I was told to send it back, I did so, I bet you will send it back as bad. By the way in the original kit I expected two magazine with 7 projectiles, you sent me 2 magazines with max 5 projectiles, how come?
When seconds count in a non-lethal situation, this is absolutely the best. I own a lot of less lethal launches, but this is the one on my hip every single time I leave my house.
@Blackandwhitecat-u9v I mean I didn't think it was funny. It definitely does the job. It's carried by many militaries and police around the world. What do you need this so-called power for you're looking for. I carry a 9 mm everyday and I don't think it has enough power but I'm still carrying it. Should I go to the 45 because I know it does a better job with the power?
@@blackpowderpapaDon’t get me wrong, I love my Byrna SD, I have 2, plus a Grimburg Gavel. I’m concerned with an attacker wearing multiple layers in the wintertime with the 12 joules vs the 39 joules from the gavel. Unquestionably yes, the Byrna has the best system where it punctures the c02. There have also been several cases where the pepper balls break inside the magazine.
@@Blackandwhitecat-u9v I own 9 Byrna pistols and both of their rifles. The Byrna Max pepper rounds are the worst pepper rounds in the world when it comes to busting in a magazine. I use the Duke rounds and I have never had one break in any of them. I carry a Grimberg Gavle in my truck and I also have one beside the bed. I carry a byrna EP every single day on myself. I went back and forth carrying the Gavle and the FSC but ultimately the Byrna is the complete package. Unless you're using only kinetic rounds, it is the best tool on the market for personal self-defense, in my opinion. Not the LE pistol but the SD/EP.
I will say that the Byrna LE/SD are probably the most user-friendly LL launchers on the market.

Less power on first shot if you don't release the co2 before taking the safety off.😢 they don't tell you that. 😢
Anybody in this community should already know that, but a point to share. Still the most capable and quickest weapon in the field in a bad situation
The First shot may be less power but you could've at least said that it still hurts 🤦🏾♂🤦🏾♂
