- This is my 2003 Mitsubishi L200 project. It’s a K74 with a 2.5TDi engine, manual gearbox with locking rear diff. I bought this vehicle as a non runner and will be getting it back into working order. Join me for the revival.

I fitted a Direnza dual core alloy radiator along with everything else you've done. No problems now.
Good idea! Coolings certainly a weak point of these engines
I have watched the prreceeding episodes with an interest and appreciation that suprised me - well, not suprise 'cos I recognise your knowledge and expertise...it's a bit like watching an adult help a child understand how something complex can be broken down into logical steps dictaed by learning how systems work and interact - lovely vids and presentation...this guy would have been a star in thew REME
I like the way you work good job buddy
Injector sealing washers about £5.00 from Milner’s. I just got stung for £11.00 on eBay before I checked!
Appreciate the video
No problem, I should have the next part up soon. Hope it helps!
i'm waiting for new part!!!!
Hopefully should be ready in the next few days! Will try and get everything into one video
Hi mate interesting videos. I have a 2004 l200. My first vehicle. Question what is the best brand for fule and oil filters. And what brand and grade of engine oil do you use please. Thanks carl
I like using Shell for oils, got no data to support them being better than anything else but never had any issues. I like to use Febi parts usually but there's not much available for L200, Blueprint is also owned by the same company and are good quality parts so normally use those for L200
a really good job, i made the same on my pajero (montero) sport with the same engine 4d56. if i can... with this wonderful job, all clean, the glow plugs bridge... with rust, not good to see...
Unfortunately I only had two weeks to diagnose and fix the truck so not much time. Ideally I would have liked to re-plate the bridge but I don't have a plating kit. The good news is you can't see it under the intercooler!
What is the part number for injector nozzle tip?
Hi Tim. Great video. At 18.05 in the video you show a set of injector sealing washers. I am desperate to find washers like that, but have a hard time doing so. Can you please share the part no for those? rgds /T
Theres a link in the video description for them 🙂
@@ToolTimeWithTom My bad! haha! sorry to nag you!
What paint did you use on the rocker cover
It's VHT Wrinkle Black but you have to ignore the instructions and get a heat gun on it right after painting to get that finish
l200 have that problems with the head assembly
