Still not there yet, I would like a bit more accuracy.
The stoager xm1 is a excellent rifle for the money, try may be a better pellet such as jsb or super domes,,may help to improve the accuracy,,mine likes both these pellets 5p groups at 30 meters its what your barrel prefers ,,,keep it up and you will get there😊
Just picked up the bullpup version and it is pellet on pellet at my 20 metre zero. I would strip your rifle and check every inch of it with a magnifying glass. Something is not right with it.
My version cost considerably less than the bullpup, so I'm guessing quality control might be a bit better on yours. I have got it shooting a lot better now, it is very pellet specific.
You’re getting there, brother. A bit more tweaking and you’ll have it set up where you want it. Still a sweet bit of kit as you would say. You have a great wife for getting it for you.
Try some bsa storm pellets mine loves them in 177
Have you cleaned the barrel ?
I don't get how when you were stacking the shots on the small round targets they can be so spread out on the bigger squares.
Good afternoon, I am interested in the transfer port of the xm1 (not bullbup) in .22, I would like to get the maximum power out of my carbine because I am going to use it for hunting and I don't know what are the right mm of the transfer port.
I think that if you put a transfer port bigger than some part of the carbine the only thing you do is to lose effective shots at maximum power, what mm do you recommend?
Mine came as a full power version, and the transfer port was about 4mm.I have gone to 3mm as I wanted to bring the power down for more shots.
It shot fine on the first two round targets, then went pair-shaped at the square targets! Did you change brand of pellets? Stick to the first brand…or throw the rifle in the sea!!
The reg is not working as it should, as it is supposed to even out the power curve, only dropping of when the res pressure drops below the reg pressure.
Please tell where you got your 2 mm air transfer port
Got it here, they fit the Stoeger XM1. www.trrobb.com/product/smk-cp1-2-900-packet-of-3-x-stainless-steel-t--p--3-5-mm-2-00-mm-and-3-mm
Seems like a lovely air rifle, but out of the box, the shot count is awful.
Not impressed yet I've got springers more accurate than that Keep pellet testing You'll find it eventually
I have had some success with washing, weighing and sorting pellets, also just got some Air Arms pellets to try.
