- No this is not your regular Audi Sedan. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and HUGE 8-piston Brembo front calipers on BIG full floating rotors to stop it quick after a fast lap around the speedway. This one will get you to the grocery store and home real quick. I try not to get to involved with these new cars, but a short drive in this one brought back memories of some of the Big Torque Monsters of the 60's. Wow Nice Fun Car... Now I feel the need to take it out on track day!
Car kicks ass. Only one year for U.S. and 860 of them brought across the pond. Cosworth helped build the motor. They are a pain to work on cause it’s all shoved in there, but it’s worth the money spent cause they are unicorns. In L.A. you could drive for 5 years before you see one on the road.

Supercar YES! Mechanical Disaster---- probably not more than any of the other super cars that are loaded with electronics and two turbos. naturally aspirated V8 will always be "less complicated" but still loaded with systems that can and will eventually fail.
i see this is 2 yrs ago.. but they are hardly a disaster.. ive had one for 4 yrs.. bought with 80k miles.. has 168k now and has only needed 2 cv axles a year apart because they clicked turning at low speed.. $70 parts , $50 labor both times..cosworth helped build the motor.. this car is pretty much bullet proof
@@Chevvygone132 i have 176k miles now and almost ready for winter hibernation .. but oddly almost no snow up here in the U.P. of michigan ..lol .. great motor!!

Do a manual transmission swap and it'll be a lot more fun and valuable.
I've heard the automatic trans in those are junk
it's the TQ converter thats weak ..if you get a modded TC the trans will go forever
