This is hands down your best video. Everyone is caught up with the gear and looking the part. An easy setup with the proper bait is a great start but understanding your target species is monumental. I think you really helped a lot of fishermen and women with this video. Great job 👍
Wow Chris what an amazing explanation! What truly unique way to provide a visual sense of everything. I don’t know how I had missed this one. Thank you !
Than=t was an excellent video. Bee targeting flatheads for two decades and everything you said is exactly true about targeting flatheads on structure. This video really allowed me to put two and two together.
excellent way of giving examples about how they feed. This will help a bunch of people catch their bucket list fish for sure. Thanks for giving your time.
This is the best demonstration I've seen on explaining this. My guess was wrong on the 2 spots where they would set. Thank you Kris for this demonstration. I had never really thought about the under bite on the shovel heads before. Awesome video and I will definitely be recommending this to people
This is the best video explaining how to fish for flatheads based on the position of their eyes an how their jaw is built. Your video is also short and concise. I greatly appreciate g to he info.
I'm chasing my first flathead and now I know what I've been doing wrong. Thank u from the bottom of my heart and when I catch my first ill dedicate it to you...
i showed this to my "little Brother". You may be wondering why i quoted that. My Best friend Has a son who love fishing i love fishing 2. So we drove him to lake Pleasant AZ, We rented a boat for a way, And he caught his first ever flathead catfish....It was around 30 pounds. Thanks so much for this video Dude, You explained this amazing.
You did an awesome job teaching here! 👏 with the noodles for visuals and so cussing the biology of the flathead you really make it clear why putting baits on bottom in certain areas don’t get seen. Bravo 👏
I been trying to catch my 1st flat head have had no luck but now I can try a bobber with live bait thanks for the video you put out and tips and I'll be rooting for you next month on that tournament again Steve Douglas & Dieter Melhorn
Kris you make it look easy In Northwest Texas I remember a Small creek that certain times of the year We caught those big yellow cats like that . That's where I kinda respected what you said about releasing those huge & yes sir I'm talking 95lbers & up back into the water . Although that particular ranch has since sold to a new owner & I haven't fished that creek in 20 yrs The memories of those huge cats & the times I shared with the older generation are Priceless & I miss those guys Tight lines my good friend .
Thanks man!!! Very helpful, I've always catfished the same way for all species. I've never seen a video put together like this thanks again. -Justin whitmire Sc
