In the future I try my best to reference the newest official title we have up to that point. Here's a list of corrections I've found myself, since posting (I'm not going to keep this 100% up to date all the time): First comes the name I chose in the video, then the "official" name. - S3 "Grand Festival News" by Deep Cut feat. Squid Sisters & Off the Hook = "Anarchy Splatcast (Grand Festival)" by Unknown - S3 "Battle Victory (Team Past)" by Unknown feat. Squid Sisters = "Inkopolis Punch" by Squid Sisters - S3 "Battle Defeat (Team Past)" = "Stomping Kick" by Squid Sisters - S3 "Squid Sisters Introduction" = "Meeting the New Squidbeak Splatoon" All tracks left out of this medley (on purpose / forgot / didn't know existed): - S1 Splatfest News [It's mostly the instrumental to City of Color, not really it's own track, but could've included it.] - Calamari Inkantation (Traditional) [As far as I know, the Squid Sisters only danced to that song and are in no way shape or form part of the creation of it. Lorewise this heavenly melody is just passed on to every new generation, so the Squid Sisters don't really have anything to do with this version] - S1 Splatfest Theme Drop [Forgot about it's existence, should've been in here in some way] - S1 Splatfest Theme Results [Forgot about it's existence, should've been in here in some way] - S1 Inkopolis News (Outro) [Very short, could've been included maybe.] - S1 Visiting Inkopolis (Spatfest) [I did not know this was a thing. I never even thought about the fact that people could play the game for the first time, while a Splatfest is going on. Should've been in this medley, but didn't know it existed) - S3 Three Wishes (Pre-Show) [This build up isn't really a song on it's own and smoothly transitions into the real song itself, so you could kinda argue it just one song, which is why it specifically isn't in here] - S3 Anarchy Splatcast (Grand Festival) (Outro) [This little Now or Never! jingle to end off the News section while the Grand Festival was going on, I kinda forgot about that. Not sure how I would've incorporated that in this medley, but it should probably be here] - S3 Titlescreen (Splatfest) (Day 1) (Inkopolis Plaza) [distant sounding instrumental version of City of Color (2023). @skipiroththeonewingedpenguin the Shark Bytes (Final Fest) version won't be in the medley, since it's basically the same as the original with just minor adjustments, which I don't count significant enough to make it a "new" track or put it in a medley. That also goes for some of the other tracks you mentioned in the list, not just that Shark Bytes version.
I will say, bravo a thousand times for putting this together. Soundmixing music to fit together in just the right way is not easy, looking through your past work I can tell you've made alot of progress in skill and editing. You not only made the music transition together extraordinarily well, ensuring high quality throughout, but you even did a ton of work into the artwork and audio interface to match each transition. I really, really like the indicator showing where the part of the current song ends relative to the various song variations lined up together on the playback line. And it's impressive that you largely put the mixing together yourself in this video this time! I think you've really gained the skills to grow into a great mixer!
Thanks! Yeah, I enjoy doing these, even if they're a lot of work. I'm kinda a perfectionist when it comes to these kinds of things, so I want to make every part of it the best it can be. It'd be a dream come true if I could actually do real remixes instead of just being forced to use the original OSTs, but sadly that's not a talent I have, and I also don't have the time to get started learing about it. But still, I love doing these mixes with OSTs I often listen to. And I already have an idea for the next project, which would be extremely big and maybe even more work than my All Mario Kart OSTs Medley... Let's hope I can finish that one day :)

It's Deep Cut (Shiver, Frye & Big Man), the Squid Sisters (Callie & Marie) and I guess some choir adding to the ambient. And since Deep Cut is having such a big role in that song, it's actually their song featuring the Squid Sisters not the other way around.

But if that one doesn't count and we're talking Squid Sisters only, then... probably Spicy Calamari Inkantation, because that one also has so much in it. But it's really hard to say, I really love all of their tracks. They never miss.
Absolutely incredible. I love seeing the evolution and heading the motifs being utilized in different songs. The way you made everything flow together is just such a catchy listen too! As a long term fan it warms my soul 🔥

But I'm still quite proud of the full artwork, you can check in the description on insta. Maybe the cropped version in the video does make it weird, since their front legs aren't fully visible to compare it to. I can see that yeah...
But I'm still quite proud of the full artwork, you can check in the description on insta. It was more of an afterthought including that artwork in the video itself, so it wasn't made specifically for that.

Im so confused, what’s the purpose of the green dot?
I gave this explaination to someone else, who also asked this question already:
The second dot, mostly in Marie's colors, was meant as an indicator on how long the current "theme" is going. So every version of "City of Color" or "Calamari Inkantation". In other words, if that one reached the end, then a completely different song starts.
In chronological order, the themes were:
- News
- City of Color
- Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today
- Ink me Up
- Liquid Sunshine
- Now or Never!
- Battle Results
- Tide Goes Out x Bomb Rush Blush
- Calamari Inkantation
- Maritime Memory
All other tracks, not included in this list, are seperate tracks, that never got a remix, live performance, etc.
Though I noticed afterwards, doing it for "Battle Results" is kinda uncessary / wrong, since those are both completely different tracks. Not sure why I chose to do it there 🤔
