Just so you know this is a fully custom prerunner build with a completely custom fabricated 4 link rear end and twin I beam suspension in the front. This is no normal Tacoma.
I've accidentally jumped my mostly stock 1st gen almost that much a couple times when trail riding, it felt awful in the cab when my head hit the roof but it handled it like a champ and didn't bend or break anything.
Jesus, I love it when people have good quality suspension on their trucks, they don't hop around they don't bounce around, they just land and stay planted
@@chezthegreatyeah the long travel suspension process is basically hacking the car apart and seeing what’ll work. Especially in builds where it’s never been done before
When the nose of the rig is in the bottom of the jump the throttle should be off, and as the shocks are starting to rebound the weight off the front shocks, full throttle. This is how you avoid nose dives from the back axle being kicked up
Shouldn't be toooooo expensive, Just buy an old Ranger, chop out the suspension and welded to the Tacoma's frame with long travel shocks. Although it would be a clapped F150/250 for your Tundra lol
This guys needs to slow down his rebound in the back for sure! He won’t be getting bucked at the top of every hit with a little tuning of those shocks. Badass build!!! I’m totally jealous 😅
Sorry I have and did bigger jumps with my 91 22R standard off of a lake approach jump I had independent front suspension against my buddy in a 91 blazer well he kept up but had to fix 100% loss then he got a new ranger and said nope which was a good decision.
Fullsend would be accelerating into the jump out of the front end to lift more and land even lie. The reason the truck landed way it did was because somebody pushed out and let off the throttle
Just needed to keep in the throttle to the floor off the lip, , let off second before impact.. Love the front end off the Ford Ranger and is fully caged with the built trailing arms.
My stupid ass… i have went full send a few times in my jeep with suspension that is not made for flight….. well landing gear wasn’t adequate that’s for sure… I love Jeeps and Tacos
Tacoma with Ranger I beam front suspension can handle that and the rear is heavily modified to a 4 link. A stock tacoma would break in half is jumped like that.
I'm bout to go fuck my credit up. Need all this in my garage
Lol it’s worth it trust me
Built not bought. Go broke buying parts but this truck is a skillful build

Tacoma owners be like: “hold up, let me hit this ECT button first”
You are true 95+ respect for the ect.
😂 every single time I say this lol
Need that extra boost
Every Toyota guy loved the ect like it was a cheet code. It was awsome at the time.
😂😂☠️☠️ facts I hit that ect button and trophy truck mode
I didn’t realise that it was in slow motion until it hit the jump 😅
Same 😂
"Toyota Tacoma jumping dunes on the moon at 5mph in Lunar gravity"
-NASA 2033 *colorized*
Bro turned on moon gravity 💀
That landing looked so soft 🤤
That was a like for me, lol. That was impressive engineering 👌
Long travel suspension is awesome 🤘
Without that suspension my taco would break in half 🤣
I actually wanna see a stock tacoma do that, we will see if it break😂. Just remember to delete front bumper
@@nic3guy798 mines a first gen with a tad bit of a rusty frame 😂 I’m trying to save it though

They’re called kings for a reason 💯 for now I’ll keep by more budget friendly bilstein 5100s. Someday though…
I hope yall realize that its not just "good shocks", that's a whole custom fab 4-link rear end with more fully custom I-beam suspension in the front.
You mean toyotas cant do that stock?!?!?!? The fanboys lied to me?!@chezthegreat

That Tacoma has twin Ibeam ford ranger suspension on it😂
Truck envy?
Maybe buyer's remorse.....
😂😂😂 toyota fan boys will say its not true but its 100% true. My 1993 ranger had that suspension and it was indestructible
Nice video beautifull Tacoma Toyota is Toyota No.1
Toyota with a Ford suspension 😂😂😂😂
Need to turn my 5.7 sequoia into this.
Doing this to my tundra for sure
No live axle on the 2nd gen. Unless you swapped the 5.7 into the first gen....
@@Min4Mass nope. Haha.
@@americandude3825 Still a fun rig I'm sure, just a different platform that is probably pretty difficult to long travel.
@@Min4Mass not to mention it’s weight. Fricken tank. Lol.
I’m better off leaving it stock and driving it to 500k miles. Lol
That long travel soaking it up like a sponge. Love it!
Can we give the cameraman his due credit? That is some incredible footage
Nope. Biggest fail of all - filming vertically when the action is horizontal. Ultimate stupidity.
That suspension is crazy 😮
Smooth landing.. I was worried about his tailbone but I think it’s okay.
Super Taco away!!! ✈️
Fantásticamente poderosa!! Tecnología japonesa 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏...
La suspension, es Ford. Jajajaja se la cambiaron porque la suspensión de Toyota no aguanta ese tipo de brinco. Jajaja😂😂😂😂 😊
Love that it’s running the old ford TTB front diff. That’s awesome!!
Yeah, same concept, totally different tho lol. You do that in an old ford your spine will be mush
Thats what I see, off a Ranger..
This is cray!
That was kinda graceful
Totally stock 🤘😂
Wow that's a big jump😮😮😮❤❤
That's a Ford Ranger front end.. annnd built trailing arms to boot...

Excellent Send and music. To the creator of the short 👏🏼👍🏼😍
Go full send that shit! Best truck
If it went slightly slower off the ramp, you'd be able to correct it by flooring it.
That’s a nice Taco.
Sweet set up.
I thought he was in crawl mode at first and was expecting it to blast off last second
Better than those puddle crawler vids 👍🏼
When the nose of the rig is in the bottom of the jump the throttle should be off, and as the shocks are starting to rebound the weight off the front shocks, full throttle. This is how you avoid nose dives from the back axle being kicked up
Pre-loading the coils
those access cabs look so nice.
All of a sudden im seeing all these tacomas on my feed shredding lol
Wells Fargo is pissed
nice to see a real "FullSend "!!
Scotty Big 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Smooth like butter 🧈
This is what money can buy
That suspension is sick! My understanding is it ain't cheap either. Would love to do that to my Tundra. But wifey would divorce me! LOL

Hats-off to the suspension soaking that up.
Ford suspension ❤
The only acceptable Squat suspension
Looks like them duke boys got an upgrade and are at it again
Love Scottie Big’s taco
Kudos to the person who setup that suspension.
I did that in a 1978 Chrysler Cordoba once.

That guy nose dived so far
Only thing I hate is they are 2wd to have that type of front suspension. If it was 4wd I’d be all about this.
Need this on my Ram! 🤤🤤
Badass send 🔥
TTB s are pretty cool
Finally after many years
Aaannnnd full caged...Hells ya..

ah yea my dream

Мне бы такой на дачу ездить, дороги почти такие же 😂
The 2024 taco will be made on the tundra frame… I have my doubts this will be possible on the new setup.
It will also have a turbocharged 2.4L 4 banger... 4 cylinder engines belong in cars, not trucks.
That's sounds bout like what I'd do 🤣🤙🤙
