    • @nastysoda9212
      @nastysoda9212 2 місяці тому +9

      It's not only the price. The 2024's are 4 cylinder turbocharged garbage. Zero benefit and hundreds of downsides.
      The body looks bad, and is really tall but with less clearance, just like the new Rangers.
      The interior looks like everything was pooped out of a 3d printer, and you have a massive ipad looking thing as a stereo that actually blocks your view it's so big. @zudosmg

    One item to add….if you live where they salt the roads, get an annual or every other year rust proofing oil based spray. A well maintained mechanical system won’t help if the body/frame rots away. Obviously this is mainly for those who want to keep their vehicles longer than 10 years

    2008 Tacoma 4x4 double cab 6 speed w/ 3.5 lift on 33” almost 400,000 miles. Toyota replaced the frame cab off at 200,000 miles, love them. I do a oil change every 30-40,000 miles change the tire when they go slick and drive the thing like a raped ape 🦍. I still bounce the rev limiter at least once a week. I am on my 2nd clutch because of how much weight I pull…. Tractor, over loaded trailer, ARB bumper, etc. The crazy thing about it, is that it still sounds and runs like the day I bought it used. Toyota is the way to go as far as maintenance free and reliability!!

    Nice to see well thought out, clear explanation of the 5 W's for each task - you set the standard for how maintenance videos should be made. The fact that you're local is even better (I'm over by the new fire station off MR). I've had a 16 and currently have a 17 TRD-OR 6ft w topper, with a few Colorado kisses (hail dents and trail damage) that share garage space with the 98 TJ, a Subie, and a few other makes. Engine replacement on a CR-V with my daughter is the next fun (not!) in the hopper - no really good videos for the 4th gen of these, unfortunately.
