This would be a great video for your FSC Railroad channel. Regarding Canadian railways operating in the United States, this is a result of NAFTA. Prior to NAFTA, there were strict rules about the railroads operating in the two countries. One way around was having American subsidiaries for the two Canadian railways. Canadian Pacific had SOO Line, while Canadian National had several: Central Vermont, Grand Trunk, Grand Trunk Western, and Duluth, Winnipeg, and Pacific. Once NAFTA happened the subsidiaries were absorbed into the parent companies. Also, regarding CPKC, it was a merger rather than CP buying KCS, hence the new name.
Well when they derail and spill chemicals, many are not fans. Then when the company that own them creates an even bigger problem by exploding the cars just to get their line open in a speedy timeframe at the cost of many lives, animals, air, and water now affected by such crimes.
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. Nice that you got to deliver the truck on the Railroad property. Thoughts and prayers for that guy's kid. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
I lived up in Marquette Michigan for a few years and the local railroad, the Lake Superior and Ishpeming is awesome. Watching those trains load iron into ore boats that have been around since WW2 is definitely something special
Enjoyed watching your travels up and down 61 and Shepherd Road in St Paul. That's my old stomping ground and really miss it. Thanks for taking me along. God Bless and a prayer for that child too. Hope all turned out well for the family.
It is nice to see the old school pulling new school . That low pro cab is also used as a garbage truck . I would call orwell a real cabover . Denis from Santa Rosa Ca
T Hasl from Norway 🇧🇻 again. Steve! Your best video is Orwell on the road making money. Thank you for your honnest job. Thank you for your UA-cam videos. It make my day.
I think the red truck has a little bigger deisel motor in it. But they both sounded pretty good. And Steve, dont quit the day job! A man must know his limitation. And your singing is limited. 😂
I thought I saw you and Orwell on I64 outside of louisville yesterday but not sure. I was so in shock like oh my god theres Orwell it looked like Orwell but I forgot to look for FSC trucking symbol lol 😅😊
pretty sure they use those types of trucks for taking the ice off the tracks, pretty sure there is a large gas fired heater of some sorts and a blower fan
Canadian national railway has been an American company for years now owned by American. That’s how they’re allowed to operate in the states surprised you don’t know this.
Altho Canadian Pacific is a Canadian name, they are as much an American Company as you are American. Our Priminister sold the company to the Americans years ago with out a care what the people thought.
14:57 those wheels on the Challenger look like either HRE or Vossen, I couldn't tell if there was any logo but I know the Vossens have a center cap that matches the rest of the wheel's finish so the logo is harder to spot.
Hey stave how are you doing today on this beautiful day and I like the content in the videos and I like watching your UA-cam videos and they are very educated so any updates on the stepdack and anther truck
Both CN and CPKC are American companies. As a Canadian I feel the same way you do about foreign companies running infrastructure in our country. But I'd rather an American company than any other nation.
It's nice that they allow these American companies to be headquartered in Canada and Mr. Gates owns the biggest share of CN and CP largest holder is English. Haha they belong to the stock holders which they trade in Canada and Us so they are both hence they operate in both. Too bad our govt can't keep nothing good.
You guys get hit at all by that snow storm system on your side of the state the other day? I was ice dancing with Peterbilts East bound on I-94 and 494.
@FSCTrucking Steve since you are an owner operator do you have to pay for Orwells diesel or does Wiedmeyer pay for it? With you being an owner operator?
Canadian and American railway work together possible a limited partnership, but with the ports on strike $ are $ whether your payed by Canadian co or American co , your probably payed by the American part
i too replaced my windshield when my shop did the mask due to rot below the corner glass. and yes, 5 to a pack. Damn windshield mask is an expensive fix, but I don't regret it
Surprise surprise, it was sold in 2021. Its amazing, our ports are foreign owned, this railway is now foreign owned, we have foreign truck drivers under bidding american drivers, and we sell land next to sensitive/military areas to foreign companies. while Canada is the least of our worries, Some things should be more about national security than dollar signs.
"I,d rather haul for an American railway?"............Well my friend you could have refused the load but MONEY talks huh? Canadian viewer here calling you out.
both rail roads have significant American ownership plus allot of American private firms own rail roads in Canada. if you knew how many business in Canada were owned by Americans and other foreign business believe me just be use these 2 railways are operated by companies that may not have Corp offices Canada much longer the way things are going here this isn't much to complain about. hell canadian institutions like Tim Horton are owned and have been ruined by the same Corp that owns burger King. there's so much American money here now aalot of Canadian company profits go to corps and people in the US not staying here in Canada.

It would be so cool to see Orwell parked next to the recently restored Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy locomotive.
Who doesn't love trains especially freight trains
Well when they derail and spill chemicals, many are not fans. Then when the company that own them creates an even bigger problem by exploding the cars just to get their line open in a speedy timeframe at the cost of many lives, animals, air, and water now affected by such crimes.
When they furlough 80% of their agreement roster................
I love Union Pacific freight trains.
Decent unloading to help that guy out hope his kids ok another feather in you're bunnet regards from Scotland 🇬🇧🏴🎥

Good introduction ORWELL is in the Station!
Steve, I think they use it to blow ice and snow out of the switches and crossings to prevent derailments...
That’s exactly what’s it’s use for. It’s just a giant blower.
Very cool. Thanks for taking us with you to a place most never get to go to.
T Hasl from Norway 🇧🇻 again. Steve! Your best video is Orwell on the road making money. Thank you for your honnest job. Thank you for your UA-cam videos. It make my day.
@fsctrucking that’s pretty cool being that deep in a yard and seeing Orwell next to a locomotive
Another delivery success again truck safe👍👍👍
3406B purring 😊 great video
With the EMD idling in the background... priceless!!!
Awesome song Steve!!!!!🎉😊
I think the red truck has a little bigger deisel motor in it. But they both sounded pretty good. And Steve, dont quit the day job! A man must know his limitation. And your singing is limited. 😂

pretty sure they use those types of trucks for taking the ice off the tracks, pretty sure there is a large gas fired heater of some sorts and a blower fan
Hot air will come out the back onto the rail!
I would like to see more of you hauling train stuff
Great video Steve,Orwell in with the big enjines.🤩👍👍
Canadian national railway has been an American company for years now owned by American. That’s how they’re allowed to operate in the states surprised you don’t know this.
Good evening Steve and grate video
Altho Canadian Pacific is a Canadian name, they are as much an American Company as you are American. Our Priminister sold the company to the Americans years ago with out a care what the people thought.
Hey Steve they’re brining back the Bomb Cyclone this year. They already announced it lol
I saw that this morning!
WERE ALL GONNA DIE!😂
14:57 those wheels on the Challenger look like either HRE or Vossen, I couldn't tell if there was any logo but I know the Vossens have a center cap that matches the rest of the wheel's finish so the logo is harder to spot.
Another great video Steve.Always look forward to the next.Take care you and family and Chris.Catch ya on the next

Orwell taking care of business
Great video Steve!!!
Orwell right at home amongst the trains...
Train axels sets are actually called trucks.
That most be cool two go to a train yard
Thanks steve
Great video as usual Steve
That’s for blowing snow out of the turnouts (switches) and melting the ice in them.
Great thumbnail 👍
Love the trains steve
That truck is a giant leaf blower, except it’s used to blow snow instead of leaves.
How are you doing Steve
Wicked cool, stay safe driver
Nice mate
We have to start calling Steve - Choo Choo Charlie
Know just how you feel about the Canadian railway .. we don’t like American stuff in Canada either . 🇨🇦
Canada is American.
We don't like a lot of American stuff in America!
They’d never let BNSF or UP come up and take over a branch line
But we let them take over KCS
Screw True Ho!
Just think how many American jobs us Canadians are providing for you!
@@user-j4200 what a insult, Canada is not even close to being like the US Thank God !!
Hey stave how are you doing today on this beautiful day and I like the content in the videos and I like watching your UA-cam videos and they are very educated so any updates on the stepdack and anther truck
Nice to know how you feel about us Canadians you just lost a subscriber
Excellent
Dig the Soo Line hoppers
Gotta be nearly 40 years old
CP 'owns KC rail
CP owns KCS now
Both CN and CPKC are American companies. As a Canadian I feel the same way you do about foreign companies running infrastructure in our country. But I'd rather an American company than any other nation.

Hood evening brother
The front screen needs a good cleaning
I seen UP on the side of a box car.
Daytons Bluff, and Pigs Eye Yard
I think it should be like the older days Thay stay in there country and we stay in ours.
How is Orwell riding and driving after you got both sets of the spring replaced I would think it would drive like a brand new truck again
Approaching a railroad crossing... Now who is going to need train tickets this time? 🤔
It is Kansas City Southern
Canadian Pacific bought Kansas City Southern because Kansas City Southern' has tracks that go into Mexico.
By the way how are the new front end springs working out or did I miss that up date on Chris work - 10-4-
Just to bad that you didn't deliver that front end loader
You guys get hit at all by that snow storm system on your side of the state the other day? I was ice dancing with Peterbilts East bound on I-94 and 494.
Canadian Pacific acquired Kansas City Southern earlier this year, and is officially known as CPKC now!
Does anybody besides me see the irony of delivering a hi-rail railroad maintenance vehicle to a rail yard ... by truck?
it is a high rail truck used to blow snow away from the rails
They use that machine to blow out switches so they can move from track to track
Bill Gates owns the biggest shares in CN and CP
@FSCTrucking Steve since you are an owner operator do you have to pay for Orwells diesel or does Wiedmeyer pay for it? With you being an owner operator?
Hi steve .steve from the uk just woundering how much dose it cost u to fill orwell up with fuel
Merhaba çok güzel bir video olmuş 232132😍❤👍
The weight of the load 17,100 kg !!! LOL🙂the fuel is still pretty cheap out there ?
Canadian and American railway work together possible a limited partnership, but with the ports on strike $ are $ whether your payed by Canadian co or American co , your probably payed by the American part
For the delivery
A Peterbilt delivering another Peterbilt!
Only "Orwell" is a Peterbilt. That hi-rail is only badged as a Pete, but it's really a European truck.
i too replaced my windshield when my shop did the mask due to rot below the corner glass. and yes, 5 to a pack. Damn windshield mask is an expensive fix, but I don't regret it
Don't look now but there's a Peterbuilt right on your ass.
Surprise surprise, it was sold in 2021. As far as I understand foreign countries own sections of interstates and toll roads also. A quick way for a state to make money.
"I,d rather haul for an American railway?"............Well my friend you could have refused the load but MONEY talks huh? Canadian viewer here calling you out.
There wouldn’t be a Canadian railroad without America
How tall was that thing? Looked right at 13’6.5”?? Stay Safe!
When are you going to get you a Hydraulic Detachable (RGN)??
there are companys from the usa that own in canada
Buy a new vehicle & transmission & take out the engine that's in it & put an old school engine & transmission in it,Lol😅😂🤣
We have American railroad locomotives that run in Canada not sure what your issue is with canada
CP jointly owned privately by mostly US owners and Canadian owners, CN Rail US owned with Bill Gates looking up
both rail roads have significant American ownership plus allot of American private firms own rail roads in Canada. if you knew how many business in Canada were owned by Americans and other foreign business believe me just be use these 2 railways are operated by companies that may not have Corp offices Canada much longer the way things are going here this isn't much to complain about. hell canadian institutions like Tim Horton are owned and have been ruined by the same Corp that owns burger King. there's so much American money here now aalot of Canadian company profits go to corps and people in the US not staying here in Canada.
Question if you don't like the canadians why haul there freight?
First
@fsctrucking now it’s CPKC with the merger and nothing better than a train enthusiast hauling railroad equipment
it's now Canadian Pacific/Kansas City Southern along with Kansas City Southern de Mexico
