Duncan, you're a good man. Love watching your vids. 2 reasons. Your personality and your angling craft, that your gladly share. Much appreciated from avid Irish angler.
Nice video, thanks Duncan. To build on your big shot instead of a plummet idea, I pinch a small bait band into the shot and hook onto the bait band rather than risk damaging the hook and it’s less likely to lose the shot as well. Apologies if you mentioned it, but counting how long it takes for the dropper shot to register helps to recognise on the drop bites as you see any change in the routine of the float settling. Keep ‘em coming. All the Best.
Nice video, Duncan. Some great tips in there. I love my float fishing, it makes up a lot of my own content. It’s nice to see a good float fishing video on your channel! All the best 💪🏻🎣
Hi Duncan. Rather than the black marker, do you not use the insert wagglers with the extra tips from Drennan? Once the marker is used, it is permanent. Tight lines
Hi Jason, I do use the Drennan Insert Wagglers where the tips can be switched but I was just giving anglers a tip if they were using a different float and struggling to see bites.

Great video mate. But where’s that funny side kick of yours? 😂
Your either talking about Mr Deeks or maybe the side kick I did on a Tight Lines vide after catching a massive barbel on the Kennet?
