Hi rach, I'm in the middle of a struggle in deciding whether or not I should finish my bachelor's degree first here at my home country before actually applying for a study permit. I'm on my 3rd year and will graduate on year 2023. Should I finish my degree first, what's your best advice? 😭😭
You're close to the finish line, you may as well complete your education back home before venturing to study in Canada. At least, you can request an ECA (education credential assessment) for that - which may help later on, if you qualify for Express Entry. Some programs also require a bachelor's degree for eligibility, so it's good to have when you upgrade your education :) i would only consider continuing post-secondary education in Canada if you were on your first year but those are just my two cents! :P
Hello could you give me some information about the requirement of Macewan university I'm from Ethiopia I'm bachelor degree graduated i want to study Nursing
Hi. I have a question. Why did you choose student visa instead of applying directly for PR when you were in the Philippines? As you have mentioned, you're an engineer graduate. You could've applied for FSW. I'm just curious because I cannot decide if I will apply as a student or directly for PR thru FSW. Hope you can answer, thank you.
Hi dear, excellent question! I wouldn’t qualify for FSW just yet as I was a recent graduate of my engineering program. My CRS score would also be substantially lower bc I don’t have Canadian study nor work experience - which lowers my chances of getting an ITA. FSW is a highly competitive EE program and the average CRS scores before COVID hovered at 465-470. My score even WITH Canada study and work experience was much lower. In addition, if I stayed and worked in my home country - then I only qualify for FSW - only one EE program. Whereas after studies and skilled work experience in Canada, I qualified for FSW and CEC! And with more programs, that also increases my chances of getting an ITA. :) Hope that answers your question!

do i need to stay in canada after completing 1 year study+1year work, while waiting for ITA? or i can go back to original country and wait for my application to be drawn at home ?
If your PGWP expires and you have not received an ITA, you must obtain legal status (ie visitor visa) to stay in Canada. Otherwise, you may wait from your home country. :)
@@rrdancel i was confused about why you were stressed to be accepted on your stay in canada in one go, thanks for answer. i was also wondering how is it possible that you had been staying in canada without job salary for over a year [jan2020-feb2021], is this possible for a person that does this on his own without relatives in canada?
@@Examplist Before coming to Canada, I had enough to cover my living expenses for more than the duration of my studies in Canada. Plus I worked part-time and full-time after graduation. Majority of it were saved in anticipation for applying to PR (if invited). I also had support from relatives in Canada, so I got to save even more! That's why I encourage students to have more than for unexpected situations. :) ps. I appreciate questions like this bc you're also helping so many others! great thinking!
If you meet eligibility for Express Entry and get an invitation from IRCC. OR if you qualify for other PR programs, then it is possible. However, FSW has not happened in a while due to covid and other PR programs include some sort of assimilation or tie to the country (such as studying or working in Canada) In short, it's possible :)

(3) I'm 5 years working in an IT company here in PH
(4) No relatives/friends in Canada.
May I ask your guidance how I can start in SP? If looking for schools can you recommend a school that I can consider in which I can still pursue an IT? or can I take another course not related to IT otherwise? ☺️
Do you think it is advisable to apply via an agency with the study permit?
An immigration agency? I’m totally against if they’re not authorized representatives handling your file and here’s why: ua-cam.com/video/njT8rAFbk2Q/v-deo.html
@@rrdancel thanks for the tips!
do i need to stay in canada after completing 1 year study+1year work, while waiting for ITA? or i can go back to original country and wait for my application to be drawn at home ?
If your PGWP expires and you have not received an ITA, you must obtain legal status (ie visitor visa) to stay in Canada. Otherwise, you may wait from your home country. :)
@@rrdancel i was confused about why you were stressed to be accepted on your stay in canada in one go, thanks for answer. i was also wondering how is it possible that you had been staying in canada without job salary for over a year [jan2020-feb2021], is this possible for a person that does this on his own without relatives in canada?
I have a lover who is a good friend 6
@@Examplist Before coming to Canada, I had enough to cover my living expenses for more than the duration of my studies in Canada. Plus I worked part-time and full-time after graduation. Majority of it were saved in anticipation for applying to PR (if invited). I also had support from relatives in Canada, so I got to save even more! That's why I encourage students to have more than for unexpected situations. :)
ps. I appreciate questions like this bc you're also helping so many others! great thinking!

Hello! can relatives show money for my student visa in canada
Yes! They would need to provide a letter of affidavit detailing why they are supporting you and how ☺️
@@rrdancel thanks rachel👍
hi ms. rachel.. how to be your student po? 😊
Most of my services are found on my website at canxvisa.com 💝😊
Can I apply as international student even my course is 2years only?
Yes, that is very possible. A lot of students come here for 2 year studies ☺️
Can a student pursuing bachelor degree apply for pr?
If you meet eligibility for Express Entry and get an invitation from IRCC. OR if you qualify for other PR programs, then it is possible. However, FSW has not happened in a while due to covid and other PR programs include some sort of assimilation or tie to the country (such as studying or working in Canada)
In short, it's possible :)
@@rrdancel thank you so much. And I really love your content it's so much informative. I hope you are doing well.🪐
Is it possible working more than 20hrs on campus?
There hasn’t been any restrictions on hours worked on campus, so some interpret it multiple ways 😅
