yeaaaa, super nice video! I went to high school in Canada 10 years ago and now I'm preparing myself for going to a college next year. a tip I would give: don't pay for family homestay. this was super stressful to me and almost killed my whole experience. now I will definitely rent a place for myself hahaha

Hello I am successful accepted in one's university of Canada and now I wanna apply for student visa permit GCKEY but my application I can't access
So, i applied for study permit on May 14th 2022. However, for some reason my study permit fees didn't consist of Biometrics fees. I got an request email from IRCC requesting me to pay for Biometrics on 8th August, 2022. I payed for it that day itself. Since then it had been 16 days. I have yet not got my BIL. I have been trying to contact them with Web Form but no reply. What do I do? I am practically helpless. There is a high chance I may have to deffer the course 😭

Hi Rachel! Do you know how long does it take to receive a SIN number after applying?
It should take no more than 20 business days to get your SIN if you apply online.
Based on my experience, I did a walk-in and applied for my SIN on the spot on my first day in Canada since I had all the documents with me.😅 I got the SIN (printed on letterhead) that same day.
It may be different now due to covid but you should receive it within the month. 🤗 when I got my PR and reapplied for a new SIN during covid, it took about 5 weeks to get mine in the mail!

is it mandatory to apply for PR under CEC ,even if we have foreign work experience of three years.
The prerequisite to be eligible for CEC is that you gained skilled work experience in Canada for at least one year.
Foreign skilled work experience may help you qualify for FSW program.
Generally it’s better to qualify for more programs under Express Entry as it’s a competitive system that invites candidates for PR. Take note: you cannot apply for PR, you need to be invited to apply first.

At least a month! wow!! I believe I took like 4 months in order to gather all my studies back in my home country and then after getting them it´s waiting more time for them to get translated.

Yes, mas tipid talaga ang DIY! Pero if hindi straightforward yung application mo or if you’ve encountered past refusals or are just uncertain on how to proceed and don’t have time to DIY - your next best option is to consider an immigration consultant or lawyer to help you with your application.

Thanks for the video. What if it's the case where you paid your 1st year tuition and you didn't get the study permit, will the school refund all of your tuition? It would be really hard if I work so hard to save the money then I don't get it all back when I'm not granted the permit
I think most schools will refund if you didn't got your SP, but not all!! They will deduct processing fee somewhere between $200-500. Please check the school's website, you can always find the right info! ;)

But after I got my LOA, I applied for a study permit and thankfully got visa approved. I brought all the documents I submitted with me when I landed for when immigration checks my documents to issue me the study permit.
