Fun fact: Mr. Game & Watch if game and watch is down a stock, in the last 5 seconds judge has a 50% to get a 9 as long as it wasn't the last rolled. It's really around 56% tho as if it doesn't hit the 50% chance there's still a one in 8 of rolling a 9 anyways.
I think this mechanic only activates if he's not in (or tied for) first place.
I've also heard that it can let you get 9 twice in a row but I'm not confident on that

As a Rosalina main I love Pac-man's pellet healing, because it means when I edgeguard his side B with gravitational pull, not only is it basically risk free to remove the projectile, but I heal for my troubles
Pretty much agree with everything you said here entirely. One thing I'll add regarding Bowser Jr's MK is that it sends at a very consistent and predictable trajectory which makes it very nice for all kinds of follow ups that are easy to lab out. But you were on the money regarding how terribly long it takes to get out -- obviously there are ways to get around this when in the air coming back to stage, using it on a platform/ledge to pick it up right away, or hopping. Can also b reverse for small movement but that is far more situational and can be punished

Yink and tinks bombs function very differently but aid in achieving similar goals. Yinks bombs feel more like rng without being rng because there are 4 over lapping hitboxes that lauch in different directions. So it can lead to yink missing his fair kill confirm. It can also lead to what is known as a phantom spike. TInks bombs can barely be left on the ground while yinks can rest after being dropped off a short hop.
Timber is even worse because it only spawns 50% of the time
Just started the vid, but imo rob gyro is the best item. Edgeguarding, charging offstage so you can have access to it offstage, lingering onstage for tag teaming into smash attacks, his simple combos just literally rob stocks. His EASY ones. Speak not of Steven Anathema. Interested in your thoughts
Nice list, that was interesting. I'll advocate for Robin's sword and books to go to B tier thanks to their ability to combo break if they spawn in disadvantage. If Robin gets hit even in frame 1 of a move's animation (so way before the hitbox is actually active), it counts as a use. If you use a sword move or special and get interrupted, and it finishes the book/sword, Robin can sometimes drop it in a way that hits the opponents and break their combo (or whatever they were doing). Another "common" use of this is Elwind (Up-B) : you normally don't drop the elwind book until quite late in the jump, but if you land on the ground (high recovery) or catch the ledge, the book will come out immediately.
→ If you recovered high, you can try to recover "onto" your opponent, so that the elwind book spanws on them and hits them offguard (which is frame positive on hit for Robin).
→ If you snapped to the ledge, and the opponent whiffed a 2 frame option, the book is likely to hit them on stage, which usually puts them offstage in a perfect position for ledge drop double jump back air.
That's situational, but that's something quite specific to Robin's books and I think they kinda deserve more recognition for that :9

It’s a projectile but it isn’t a item. Items have to be able to be picked up
Really respect your ability to slice different attributes of the gameplay to make interesting in content

I think it's also important to take into account that some items can be stolen by the opponent and you can't have acces to them anymore, like bananas or pacman items .For this reason, I think, for example, that turnips are better than bananas. On top of that, they're easier to pull, and can be recatch infinitely.

I'd make minor changes to the tiering, dropping Snake Grenades to A and Banjo to B (I just don't see Banjo's as on-par with the Link bombs, for instance). With so many in S tier, it doesn't really differentiate the best of the best from the very, very good.
I think Diddy's Banana is my personal number 1. Probably a top five move in the game.
Does Greninja's substitute doll count, or is it only throwable items?
i think it is only "pickable" items (which includes Pacman's pellet and MG&W fruits which arent even throwable). That is why "items" like Duck Hunt's can or Villagers/Isabelle's pot are not listed as they cant be picked up.

I'm like 99% sure game and watch 9 does not have a higher chance of activating. Game and watch judge cannot repeat the last number it just rolled. So getting a number you didn't just roll is a 1/8

re: Link bomb for neutral getup. It can hit everyone reliably BUT you need to place it in slightly different places near the ledge for certain characters or they'll be able to shield before it hits. So it's a little more difficult.

Sheik's rock is goated. I suck with Sheik and I only do at low gsp but I'll eat Mario's fireball and chase it down and go HAM recatching that thing and messing up z-drop combos. I can't get the rock on any good players though. Optimizing Sheik's rock would kill me with laughter I would be so amused to see it in the meta; even just the Elite Smash meta.
Link's bomb is SO SLOW to get, and also, you cannot combo using it outside of jablocking... so, it is not that good.
