Thank you for the video, I got a Serene Life sauna myself and the temperature in the room you put it in definitely makes a difference. Mine gets up to 138-140 my buddy has 1 and he put in a cold room so his only gets to 126 so he put a mylar blanket over it and now his gets up to top temperatures. I love the sauna and am so glad I got it, it's invaluable
It made our electricity bill go up a bit, but we also live in the Washington Mountains where the swing in our electric bills from Summer to Winter differ by as much as 100%
Good video. Box instructions are "ok". I would add make sure when putting the pads in, make sure you align the cords based on the location on the pad. Took me a while to figure it out but hopefully this prevents someone from wasting 10 minutes. I was able to get mine to 113. Sweated real good. Definitely use the mat to absorb the sweat. Good product though and informative video
You truly saved this investment for me. The sauna arrived and I put it together. It was pretty straightforward…except three power plugs for three panels and only one visible plug. Like you, my sauna only heated to 87 with only one panel. I just couldn’t figure out how to make it better…change environment (make house hotter, enclose the box), change my use (get in a neoprene suit). Anyway, your video made me realize they’d hidden two connections in that sleeve. And never said anything about it in the instruction booklet. \
Great video! Thank you for the excellent walkthrough and detailed review. We were considering getting one and wasn't sure the quality of the tent saunas, but your review was very reassuring. Are you planning a follow up video on how it's been after a years use?
I have the same tent. Was NOT hot enough for me. I made a couple modifications. I used a portable heater to add heat. Purchased some flex dryer vent and connected to the heater with a couple HVac pieces from Home Depot. Cross slice at the bottom of the tent and run the flex vent into the tent. Night and day, HOT! HOT! HOT! Hope this helps. Great vids my man.
Looks interesting. Good job on laying it out. Tx. On the side panels, three of them? Are those also infrared panels? They plug in hence have power going to them. Just heat, or infrared? Also, would you be able to hang or attach say infrared bulbs or small panels to add infrared to the enclosure? Again, tx for your video.
I have the steam version. It is actually on par with the gym. I had mine for a couple of months now. If you hadn't bought one yet, you might want to get the one he has. Im thinking about getting it. The wet one is good, but it require a bit more care with cleaning and disinfection to prevent mildew and mold. Also, the metal frame on mine is showing rust spots. Also when I was in the gym, I use to enjoy playing on my phone and using my mp3 player for music in the dry sauna. You cant do all of that in the steam room. I still say it is a good experience with the steam version, but I strongly recommend to get the infrared version.
@@lvncsr6166 OMG. That is no excuse. There are women on my job in the maintenance department working as electrical technicians and when I was trucking there was a female mechanic fixing tractor trailers. Thank you for the video! But please read the reviews on the emf ratings! I was so close to buying it but read that someone tested the emf ratings and it was well over the 3-10 mg that they say and that is very dangerous
Okay. There is an infrared version. I just bought a steam version. I bought one of those small factor that is full body, but mobility is extremely limited. I still wont knock them because they do what they are suppose to do, but like I said, with limited mobility. I decided ro give this one shot. Saw it on ebay. Not a bad price, 270. Based on this post, I believe I made a good move. I am a bit annoyed that I am spending more money. Thanks dor the video.
Just bought this today... And the instructions are the worst I've ever seen! Thank you because I was stuck at the pads on the inside and didn't realize there was some other plugs in that little pocket in the corner.
So grateful that you did this video. Now, can you show us how to actually put it together for those of us who are not so inclined with assembling things? TFS
I just used mine for the first time after about 1516 minutes of warming up mine was at 123° after being in it for 5 to 6 minutes mine stayed around 120 this was my personal experience in my home I have this and set up in my dining room so it may not reach the full 140 but at least in my home it definitely reaches plenty hard enough to make me sweat
We have a mini portable sauna and we just use a hair dryer to make sure it's all dried up after each use after some wiping with a towel or paper towel. Tip: Just be careful with the hair dryer on the zipper, it might eventually melt and you will have a hard time zipping it up. :)
Anyone have any issues with power blowing a fuse in your home? my home is relatively new and was built in 2003. about 5 min in to use, all the power to my outlets went out. i had to reset my main breaker to get the power back. is there another power requirement to run the power for the sauna?
Im having problems hooking up the brown pads with the velcro on them it seems like one of the pads need to have velcro on the other side whats the trick
good video but Im just wondering, will these portable saunas have high electromagnetic radiation readings, which is detrimental to health in the long-term, and potentially quite dangerous?
Hi I bought a Santa like yours and I’m having trouble just putting the top canopy on so can you give me some pointers on what to do next thank you so much
I bought today and I'm moving in a couple months. Do you think it will be easy to disassemble as well? Or should I wait and take it to my new place to assemble

How's the longevity of this sauna a few months later? Also how well does it hold the heat?

One helpful tip I heard is putting the foot pad underneath the base pad so your foot doesn't burn when barefoot
just did the purchase and install in my basement it reached 105 and was sweating lol. Plan to keep it
Sounds good 👍! Maybe the summer time, it'll be able to reach those higher temperatures lol.
Thank you very much for the upload, much appreciated, I would love that model except with steam

I can’t ever breathe in a steam sauna, the humidity is OPPRESSIVE. Gotta get the infrared

Thank you for the information on EMF’s. This was first concern about this portable sauna
Where do you find the EMF ratings for these portable infrared saunas? And do you know if there is a full sized unit that has low & safe EMF'S?

Very good video on instalation . Book was really bad. Panels with the velcro wants to sag out at the top. Any ideas how to correct this?
They hung out for me too. If it's a bother, you can actually just buy extra velcro and add it on top
Is the infrared or the steam version better?

I set mine up but the light seems like it would get too hot to slip in the pocket but i cant see any other way, did you keep it in the pocket?
I've had no issues keeping it in the pocket!
Ok thanks!

Is there like a thermal insulator layer between the layer of Oxford and foil thing?
I think some of the sensors are faulty. I don’t feel a difference between this one and the one at the gym that reaches 140 in about 40mins.

I may add 1 or 2 extra NIR Infrared Lights to mine, what's your thought?
Don't think it's needed. Unless you're living in a cold area
Any idea what the EMF rating easy? On Amazon someone claims they are very high.
20 - 80 mgs
I have this sauna at home and the fuse just blew out( I think) anyone know how to fix or what I should be looking for??
Did you figure anything out?

Never mind my husband said you don’t have the canopy on top like we do. So I probably have a different brand
Hope you guys were able to figure it out!
good video but Im just wondering, will these portable saunas have high electromagnetic radiation readings, which is detrimental to health in the long-term, and potentially quite dangerous?
any update on it?
I think this acts more like a heat lamp and not like an induction stove so I'm not worried about emf radiation from this
Is this better than the 1/2 size one with your head out?
Good vid brotha
Thanks for the video. Do you know how the led light turns off? Mine stays on even when its not heating.
Unplugging is the only way for the light to turn off

Still working for me!

It's not too hard to disassemble, but if you don't have the time, I'd just wait till I moved.
hey man 2022 here hows the sauna still holding up for ya?
Same here man . Have you seen the reviews of high radiation output ?? Thoughts ?
Probably cheaper to jut buy a grow tent and an infrared lamp, because that's all this is lol.
Does the red light need to touch your skin in order for you to sweat?
The heat comes from the carbon boards not the light, the light doesn't heat up.
How were you able to put it together? I’m putting it together and it’s like it’s to small for the frame. It just won’t fit around the frame.
