this is such a sad song in retrospect especially considering what we know of Salem, Ozpin, and especially Summer rose and a certain grimm human hybrid that had silver eyes too this initial song of the rwby series and from the very beginning we see how hurt Ruby was by her mothers disappearance and in part two of the same song we get the point of view of Summer apologetic and fearful for her daughters future and possible demise
This is beautiful but there was parts in the song that would've given equal amount of time for all characters of Team RWBY before part 2 singing, also I think you gave Yang too much single time which makes it look more like the show is about her and Ruby than any of the other characters when this song is about RWBY losing her mom. But still this is a beautiful piece and I would love to add it to my playlist
