    Thank you so much for this video! I bought my first resin kit at a convention last month and am super excited to try this out!

    Never thought to use both ok on a model kit but that's actually a decent idea. Kinda expensive though.

    one thing i wanna know is a prespective on the "rigidity "of the material is it like plastic hard, silicon soft or where exactly does it stand, and what if we were to make a full fron and back human head.
    thank you.

    I am able to start on making the Dalek Gun in the series 9 two part episode of Doctor Who. It's just some thing I wanted to make. Most of it will be PCV pipe and EVA foam with a little Worbla too. But this helped when I have to cover up and holes I drill in or seems

    OOhh! :D Great vid as usual Bill!
    And the tips about enlarging the bubble cavities and filling them up with something simple as super glue and baby powder were actually really helpfull.
    Cheers!

    +punished props I've started to make the bog wild 1.0, but it has gone wrong already lol, I'm going to take a slower approach

    Good Video, but I wondered about Resin dust? Isn't it highly dangerous to breath? You don't mention wearing a breather and your techniques make a lot of breathable dust.

    • @punishedprops
      @punishedprops  6 років тому

      Yeah you should wear a dust mask when sanding urethane foam. A vacuum or dust collector are great too.

    Finally managed to find a EVA supplier that is close enough, still had to pay €10 in shipping, but still....
    Time to start my Ember Celica (Yang Xiao Long, RWBY). Hope I get the experience to start doing my 2D sprite to 3D full-armor of Gilliam (Fire Emblem, Sacred Stones). Bill, do you have any tips for going from 2D to 3D? (Cant really use software, dont have the hardware .__." )

    Rewatching these videos for a Samus Light Suit helmet I'm making, & just noticed a Light Suit cosplay at 3:19. Anyone know where that build comes from? I've never seen it before.

    So sanding is the only way right?:"[ i feel like it might remove the texture on what i made using cast 300 🤔🙁 if i file it down

    • @elpretender1357
      @elpretender1357 4 роки тому

      If I recall Plasti Dip doesn't require that to stay in place. Plus, if you make a big mistake you can remove it and start again

    • @punishedprops
      @punishedprops  4 роки тому

      If you have a texture you want to keep you can lightly sand or use a filler primer to help fill in small gaps or bubbles.

    • @anthonytesta3716
      @anthonytesta3716 8 років тому

      +Punished Props Is it better than a Dremel. The first one I had was great but broke, now this one is giving me problems where it stops or only works by holding it in a particular angle. Looking for something with more control.

    what primer did yall use? :o

    • @punishedprops
      @punishedprops  5 років тому +1

      We didn't use any primer in this video, but it will depend on the piece. If it has larger spaces and not too many tiny details, filler primer works great! Otherwise we usually use a basic Krylon or Rustoleum primer from the hardware store.
