I interviewed 5 times for my very first job back in 1980, making $14,000 as a technical writer for a software consulting firm. My MA was fresh in hand. Each interview required driving 1.5 hours each way, and since I didn’t have a car, my mother had to drive an hour to pick me up, then drive me to and from each interview before trekking back to her home. Insulting, demoralizing and ridiculous.
It blows my mind that this girl says, “I have always payed for all my stuff” yet she has never payed RENT in her life and has like 10k in credit card debt.
“So tell me about this card.” “Well I was working at this real estate place but then someone told I I should not do something and then I was like my boyfriend said and then my debt was like and my first paycheck wasn’t deposited but then really I’m going to pay everything off but because I’m still trying to get a sale I’m going to be out of debt then….” “Ok….”
“Sorry, I have to cut off the stories. We gotta do… the show” Omggg, I’m dyinggg 🤣🤣🤣💀💀. Glad Caleb interrupts though cause it’s like a never ending monologue. I don’t understand how some guests are so tone deaf, she just rambled on and on and goes off on a mad tangent of justifications and excuses 😭🥴
Run girl this employer is sketchy. Saying it’s salaried position but being paid hourly. Executive assistants can make a lot of money and working directly with execs gives you great connections and mentorship. When you have BIG DREAMS some employers will take advantage of that to hire you for less than market rate with promises of growth. Exactly what you described.
Doesn't sound like what's happening with Realtor McSketchy here, but a salary+hourly mix is pretty common for salary where I live. It's basically "you still get paid your normal amount if you leave early or come in late and we don't track your hours, but not paid on full days you take off (unless you use pto), you get less for a half day, and you get time and a half for any with over your regular hours", with overtime being calculated based on your hourly wage. My husband is salary but it still shows hours on the paystub. It's assumed they work 40h unless the employee tracks their own time and submits a form stating otherwise, then accounting will adjust it. Big improvement on the "you get paid the same no matter how much or little you work" imo. Everyone I know on a standard salary gets absolutely screwed and work way more than the 37.5h their salary is based on
You are not required to give them though. Only to make them accessible. I would not question it if it turns out she just did not realize it was an online system she has to log in to.
@@Sadreath that was my thought... if they are legitimate, she should have received a packet with instructions for how to access the information online. I am also wondering why they didn't redirect her to view them online when she asked about it...
@@frankthefkintank I think you are wrong. Being clueless as an employee is not an indicator of something shady going on. Being clueless as an employer and not documenting pay/paying per hour instead of salary definitely is shady and might even be illegal. That is a huge difference
Everybody on this show: "Oh, I am in this position, I do all this stuff" Caleb: "Oh, cool, how long have you been doing that?" Everybody: "Yeah, I started yesterday, but it's going really great!"
These people are clueless. Not all but some it’s because they are college bounded that went to the work force not knowing the work force !!! This girl don’t even know if she’s hourly or salary. OVER 4 MONTHS INTO HER JOB. She don’t know shit 🤣 she all over the place .
Also everyone - well I had to buy that because I was looking the part but I been doing great, I mean I started last week, but idk about it, I may not keep doing that stuff, but I may keep doing it too though.
Noticed the same trend of every single person having a great new job and having not worked at that job more than 3 months. Predict most of these people being not in their jobs within the year
If she thinks there will be some sort of workplace retaliation if she insists on getting her paystubs, something is deeply wrong. She should get it every paycheck
Also with her experience she could get a better job that pays like 23-25 a hour if she's willing to pay and be rejected quite a few times. She will find a job tho with her skill set that pays that much
My credit score was in the 560s in January and now it’s in the 620s thanks to this channel. I’m knocking out that debt and hopefully will be debt free by the end of 2023 and start catching up on savings and retirement. I sometimes fumble but overall learning and growing my financial literacy. It’s going to be a tough year but worth it!
I'm a graphic desiger and my first "big girl" job was in real estate and even in the marketing department, they chewed me up and spit me out. I've talked to so many other people who experienced the same thing in real estate. It can be a super predatory industry for young professionals and this girl is 100% being taken advantage of. Run girl run!!
@Blane Schwindt why? Plenty of decent sales job pay good bases and have realistic commission. The issue is a bunch of totally ignorant people with NO sales skills getting into 1099 contractor real estate, insurance, and roofing sales. That's how you end up in poverty if you aren't skilled and really aggressive
In my HR career, I haven't worked anywhere with a lowered probationary pay, but I think there should have been an official offer letter laying this out. She should definitely be getting her pay stubs, though.@@janeandrews1790
Yeah this girl must walk around in circles on the daily. Notice how all of her issues is someone else doing something to her that she didn't understand. Needs to learn how to listen better.
She’s clueless. She don’t know ANYTHING. All she needs is blonde hair to become a ding blonde . Lord have mercy , God help these fools. “Her doing better “ is having her man pay rent .
@@AmandaRogersarock1988 I agree, also to take control of her life. I bet shes always had someone making decisions for her so she is incapable of making them herself.
18/hr isn't necessarily a scam, I hate to sound rude, but honestly based on her apparent level of knowledge and critical thinking skills, simply based on the first few minutes of this video, it may be the case that her job title is inflated, and the "salary" is cominserate with her abilites.
@@kevinfloyd808 that may be true... but she thinks she was being told she was to be salaried but isn't. Or maybe she's just confused. Or maybe she becomes salaried when her apparent provisional 90 days ends. It is ENTIRELY unclear... but a choice between confused about the basic facts of a contract she signed and foolish enough to passively let them continue to screw her is... not a great choice either way.
Her employer is violating Texas labor law by not providing a paystub. That doesn't mean they have to directly provide it though (ie, handing it directly to her). They just have to provide access to it. However, with the other issues like the ambiguity of salary vs hourly earnings, this is really concerning. She should be looking for a more transparent employer, if they continue that way, starting next pay period.
@@gusmueller4413 tf does greg abbott have to do with this? Lol hes talking about having the right to access a paystub and youre rambling about Abbott like she was rambling about her stories
No it’s so obvious what’s happening here the employer is saying salary because he’s paying her by cheecks meaning a 10-99. To remove any liability from him self
@@imcrux6583 There is a connection. Texan Republican politicians aren’t exactly known for supporting the working class especially those on minimum wages. 😂 They’re extremely profit-focused meaning if they can get rid of as many workers rights as possible they will in order to make a bigger profit. And they’ve done it before in their own businesses and when putting through laws. Eg certain politicians believing paid time off is stupid and “woke” while in the UK it’s a basic right 😂 That’s why these people prey on the vulnerable, naive and desperate.
I appreciate him calling out the "risk" of staying with a guy and not having to pay rent. As soon as she said that I was concerned. Not every dude is a saint, but even normal "good" people who have that kind of leverage over your financial situation can use it against you without realizing it. You're potentially one or two arguments away from having your shit thrown on the curb and ending up in a court over rent back-pay or something similar.
I finally watched this during my grading break. The storytelling is a distraction. It's like she leans on the explanation of how and why she is in debt instead of the fact that she is in debt. She pays no rent, so the goal should be to keep debt down. Love this video.
@@katierobey9338 i feel like he pointed it out to her because she was jumping ahead in topics they were going to get to and not letting him run the order.
I’m pretty sure it’s a legal requirement for employers to provide pay stubs to their employees or at least an invoice for their contractors. I’d definitely look into that if I were her
Her company sounds sketchy asf, their focused on doing everything that benefits them and if they think she can do something they’ll have her do it even if it majorly inconveniences her. Wish I didn’t have to go so hard on but for someone so obedient and oblivious to blatant manipulation and just straight up being to lied to like when she was told she was getting paid salary but was paid 18 I don’t think she’d be too good of a real estate agent because that’s a job that a manipulative person who’s willing to tell some white lies or a white lie does best at
Well her boyfriend is paying 95% of the bills so she thinks she has the freedom to do what she wants. Parents with sons: TEACH THEM THAT THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA. No one bother flaming me, it is a terrible decision on his part despite how “nice” he’s being enabling her dreams. He needs to worry about building his wealth during this critical time in his life where he is able to work a lot not float some girls dreams. She can pay some rent too. She doesn’t need all that disposable income. Either he gets some rent and can invest it however he wants or the eyelash extension salon gets it.
@@amyeastman8764 I agree. Expenses should be shared, and if he wants to be generous it could be porportionate based on income. So whoever earns more pays more so there is more of a balance. It's not helping her to get a free ride. If she's serious about debt she'd realize those eyelashes and other unnecessary spending has to stop.
That little “uhmmmm?” When Caleb tells her how she’s relying on her boyfriend for A LOT made my skin crawl. He’s literally paying for her to have a roof over her head and lights and water. Pitiful. These audits really make me realize how well I’m doing comparatively
@@moxopixel We know if is his choice, duh. that's not the point, Einstein. the point is that she is going to be in for the shock of her life if they break up and she has to start paying rent. Paying for Starbucks, car insurance and lipstick isn't even half of an adult's living expenses.
She's putting a lot of faith in the honesty and capacity of a real estate agent to keep his word for her career advancement, not, generally speaking, a good idea.
She’s got stars in her eyes 🤩 and really thinks she’s going to make it big at this job but……it seems likes she’s working for some fly by night salesman. But I really have to question how great of an exec assist she is, she seems so disorganized mentally. She just can’t stop rambling

@@imcrux6583 Really? Is that how it works? I thought he pays the guests or at least their is no compensation either way. Even if there was some incentive, I wouldn’t go on his show to be scolded and talked about in the comments. I’m just to private of a person.
I do wish that at the end of the videos there was a bit more of a visual breakdown of the guests finances, showing on screen exactly how much debt they are in paired with their income and a timeline of how long it would take for them to reach the financial goals talked about in the video if they follow your advice.
I've had jobs that paid "salary paid hourly" and it's a really terrible thing for the employee. It means they will pay you the salaried amount (even if you work overtime) and if you take off of work they'll deduct it from your pay because you're "hourly". I think in some states it's illegal but a lot of companies still do it to benefit themselves. I will not take another job that's like that.
that's not legal. Employers do what they want (and break the law) because American workers lack the balls to speak up or even learn BASIC labor law to protect themselves.
My ex had a similar situation. His first job out of grad school said salary, but they wanted a time sheet. I'm like the only time they monitor your time is when you're hourly. Low and behold, he wasn't salary.
This girl is so vulnerable because she appears to have this mindset that she already knows what she's doing, so she closes herself off from taking in actual feedback about her finances, her career, etc. There were so many opportunities just in this interview for her to let the information sink in, but she was defensive or tangential and went off on some random story. Very little accountability.
@@emiliabolsas that's what I'm wondering! I think these people get paid. I also imagine some people going on here thinking "I'm doing better than most, let me show others how it's done" and then the reality is different.

I'm so glad you always mention health insurance. I'm 31 with moderate crohn's disease and the treatment to keep me in remission I have to do every 6 weeks and it bills my insurance $38k each time. I only end up paying about $250 each time due to insurance, but I have been doing since I was 26. You are never too young to have health insurance

Sounds like she’s a hard worker and her current boss is taking advantage of her. Realize your value, young lady, and go get a job where they treat you decently. Sounds like she also has good administrative skills, she could make a nice side hustle doing a few hours of virtual assistant work each week. You can do it! I’m rooting for you!
Don't get me wrong, the financial soap opera is always a great watch, but it's always nice to see people come on and actually try to make changes to their lives, and get into a better place financially.
Anytime an employer becomes flakey when you enquire about your compensation it's a HUGE red flag. Texas requires that employers provide written or printed pay stubs. This makes me wonder if they are even handling payroll deductions for taxes, or if "taxes" are staying in the employers pocket. She needs to get out of that job.
She reminds me of the person who knows they have a dentist appointment in a few weeks and just goes crazy with the flossing and 3 a day brushing. Still tons of plaque and possibly a cavity but she tells the dentist how much work to change she has put in. Then a day after the appointment it all goes back to normal.
As a real estate agent it took me 2 years to get my first deal. It really is a lot harder than people make it out to be. But if you stay consistent and persistent it is possible. Best of luck to you on your journey
OMG!! SHE'S EVERYWHERE!! If she would stay on topic and get to the point. She would kill it in real estate. No more excuses, just get things done. Good luck!
She’s dependent on their vague empty promises with that job situation. I would’ve fought for a higher raise after the probation period because it sounds like it’s entry-level. I work in the legal field and her role is very similar to mine and I have been ripped off by law firms many times. If there’s more than 2 interviews and it’s not justifiable, find somewhere else. Nooooo I got to the part where she got paid monthly….!!!!!! That means they’re cheap, can’t afford the help, and will replace you asap.😞 oh dear god no pay stubs?! It sounds like they’re paying under the table instead of using payroll or telling her that she’s 1099. She needs to leave that job asap.
But that's not what a salaried job is. Exempt jobs are not paid overtime. She's not exempt. Even with a salaried job, you are entitled to overtime if you're not exempt. Very few people seem to understand this.
@@Youre-Welcome While this may be somewhat true, many employers use the 'you're salaried, so no OT' excuse anyways. also, she said she's an executive whatever, they may also try the 'you're a salaried employee in an executive role' to shut down complaints.
The more Caleb does these. The more he looks like he's the one getting audited 🤣. For his mental health I'd love to see him do an audit on someone who has made really good choices and their journey.

@@okgroomer1966 it could be. I get what you mean, TLC I think is the biggest example of "people love a train wreck", but it would be interesting to see because MOST people don't know. And there are different levels of making it work successfully, some people can do it with barely anything and that could be interesting to see how. But that's my opinion
I was going to comment this last week. It would be nice to see more people who are on a good track (although I would guess those probably won't get the same clicks....).
This woman has her real estate license and is a secretary, imo she should switch brokerages and work under a broker who wants to see her grow. The right broker will have leads for her very quickly.
Not wanting to discuss the pay in fear of losing the job because she doesn’t want to have to pull from cards instead of getting a temporary job is CRAZY
@29:08 is the moment I knew she has zero concern, or any sense of reality. Reacting with "ehhh" to her boyfriend carrying ALL LIVING EXPENSES and saying it's not a lot? She clearly has no idea what it takes to live independently.
Caleb, I just started my first job a couple months ago as a high schooler. I’ve been binging lots of these videos, I’m going to try to use some of this (unofficial financial) advice to get a good start on my life once I get out of high school and hopefully lay a sturdy foundation. Keep making these videos! They’re great!
Great job on you for getting into the right financial mindset this early. When I was your age I didn’t think twice about this stuff and now at 32 in a hole. Great to see a young person watching Caleb and getting real knowledge this early. Good job young man/woman.
Congratulations man!!! When I was your age I was able to rack up $20,000 in cash from my HS job. Didn't see a future for myself some I spent it all on food, clothes, and movies. Three years later I wanted to go to college and quickly discovered how stupid I was for blowing all my $$ on frivolous things. Ended up making it work through lots of hard work and scholarships but maaaaaan do I wish I could go back and kick 17 year old me for not putting all that money in a high yield savings account!!!!!!!!!
Dude when he says spending it on fast food, going out, etc makes it all add up, he is not lying! Do whatever you can to save that money buddy! You’ve got this 💪
I know, i did the same thing, set up an interview with HD in email, showed up the next week and in 15 minutes they hired me, and I was 18 with pretty much no experience, it is weird then seeing some people jump through all these hoops for about the same wage
Sometimes I wish I could sit in on these as an HR professional so I can also freak out with Caleb about these decisions people are making with their employers. It’s killing me how much people don’t know about important concepts when it comes to managing your relationship with your employer
Maybe when his channel gets bigger, hopefully he reaches out and has more types of content that include advice from others because you're very right. It's super important too.
I’m glad Caleb gives investment SUGGESTIONS and finally stopped giving his opinion on investments. Crazy how much the channel has blown up, congrats on the success!
29:15 she revealed something pretty toxic about herself there. She was clearly bothered with the implication that she is dependent on her bf. Is she really that deluded to think she is an “independent woman”?? He can literally claim her as a dependent on his taxes if he wanted. I hope he sees this, it comes off super entitled and not very appreciative of what he is doing for her.
The employer is trying to take advantage of her bike telling her it's a salary position but paying her an hourly wage. They're trying to abuse her work . When she does overtime they're not going to pay her because they're going to claim that she's a salary exempt employee
I'm not sure if it's the employer or her. She continuously confused the use of the word "salary" later in the interview, refers to her "salary" when she means her paycheck, etc. It's unclear to me if the employer is jerking her around or she's just confused and kinda clueless or both.
Salary and hourly rate aren't two different things inherently. Both of my last two jobs were "salary" but it was just certain amount of hours (standard 40) and "hourly rate" attached to those. Most lower level salary positions still express an hourly rate.
@Adam Seidel it's salaried because they pay you that amount regardless of your actual technical work hours and there's no clock in or out, but they express it in an "hourly rate" for "40 hours" which isn't exactly true since people might do more or less every week and you get a standard amount biweekly that doesn't change. So.
Caleb - I know this is a brand new channel, but down the road something that I think could be interesting is having people back to see the progress they made!
Literally just sat down on my break at work when you posted this. Almost finished watching all of your videos since finding them a week ago. Was getting worried I'd have nothing to watch for a day or two so this is perfect timing!!
Massive employer red flags. My old employer was like that, I would have to ask several times for my paycheck to actually be sent every month. It’s a horrible way to work
I run my numbers every pay period. I bring it up if my check is wrong and it’s corrected. My ex employer never paid me over time pay when I worked for him for over a year. I tried to get him to pay me honestly, but I ended having to get a lawyer and collect that way.
I feel bad for her with the job crap. I went through something similar, I am a law student and was hired at a law firm as a legal assistant then when I showed up they put me at the front desk as a receptionist because their receptionist had quit a few days before I started. They then paid me less than we agreed to because "I was now a receptionist, not a legal assistant." They said no one else would hire me as a legal assistant because my only experience was as a law student and I had 3 years of previous receptionist and file clerk experience. They then had me clean the office and cleaning toilets. I left after 3 months and just went to school full-time because I am terrified of going through that again.
Yuck. I had a bad experience as a "paralegal" at a nonprofit legal aid. i was hired on a project and discovered after getting the union paperwork that you don't get raises while on a project. They then kept me on it for three years not really doing any legal work. I didn't get any experience and didn't use the degree I went to school for. Had difficulty after that finding a paralegal job because of that. I also was stuck at the receptionist table with an office manager talking to me all day and walk-ins coming in to handle. In the union agreement, I was supposed to get an office, but ended up at that desk for three years before quitting. Now I _really_ don't use my degree and make 50% more working 30 hours as an office manager for a small business for an owner/operator who really appreciates me and I feel so much better about work now. it's kind of ridiculous.
Bruh. I work for a real estate board association. Large metal signs are 30-50 bucks max. Actual open house signs that attach are less than $10. Tf kind of signs did she buy.
I think she was referring to Billboards possibly, she mentioned that she was living in El Paso I've noticed a lot of real estate agents here in El Paso like to go all out with the Billboards. But I could be wrong if you ask me I think she just has very poor common sense
i decided to quickly search for "Open House Signs" and sure enough, Vistaprint had a large metal sign for $95.... She mentioned she bought 4 of them, so it makes sense if she bought from them because Vistaprint is a big name. There were a bunch of cheaper options, but I noticed that one right away. EDIT: She said $300-$400 per sign..... Wtf? Maybe they were billboards, but an open house billboard? I've never seen that.
When I went to Hawaii my Uber driver was a former real estate agent who kept talking about how he used to sell condos in high risers across Honolulu, telling me how they would go for hundreds of thousands of dollars sometimes millions. He obviously wasn’t very successful because if he was he wouldn’t be Uber driving, and to me he is a reminder that real estate is a business with few success stories, and so I cringe a little inside when someone says they want to do real estate.
Everyone wants to get into it because of the UA-cam "gurus" they see who bought in after 07-08' and have never faced a downturn, lol. They all think it's easy money only to realize when they actually get into it that those gurus didn't tell them about all the actual hard work that goes into it.
Um, just so you know, a lot of retired people do Uber just to have something to do. As do a decent amount of 6+ figure earners. Don’t let what they’re currently doing deceive you.
a lot of people get into it because they think it makes money without needing formal education just a license, but this is only at the top level/those with degrees or the few that grind it out with the right connections. I can name 4 guys i’ve talked to in the past year who’ve said they plan to go into it (only one had a successful family member who was a realtor) and 2/4 said they’re getting licenses as soon as they are eligible. I’m willing to say there are many with the same dreams, level of education, skill/experience, and over-confidence. A lot of them will find out soon just how hard it is/competitive. I don’t think real estate is a viable “career” just something to do on the side/for fun if you don’t have valuable skills
5 interviews?! For that money? Giiirrrrl no. Work there for 6 month and then start to apply for new job in same field. U get your experience, learn all u could there. Like stick your nose in every business they do and then look for new job for at least 30$ in hr, get offer and tell boss or u matching this or I am leaving. And go, next step in bright future. Please do not waste more than year of your life in that 19$ position pleeeease
thank you for helping all these young people. I don't always click on the video when I see the person is 25 or younger because I just feel bad for them like they are new adults and just need support and guidance, but a lot of times I feel like the older people should know better (which of course isn't often the case). I feel like you are helping the younger ones not becomes the older ones!!
That's a weird employment set up, red flags everywhere. She needs to get copies of those paystubs and a copy of her contract and make sure they line up, pronto.
Instead of relying on the term "salary," which sometimes can be used as just a term for your pay generally, clarify whether you are a non-exempt employee ("hourly") or an exempt ("salary") employee. Also remember that the IRS has very strict regulations as to who can be classified as exempt (i.e., don't have to pay overtime).
I am seeing a lot of red flags with her current and previous employers. It seems shady, and I'm worried they'll screw her over. I hope she researches what fair pay is for her role and what proper treatment is from a company. She's lucky to have a partner who understands her BAD financial situation and supports her throughout her debt-free journey. But she needs to start supporting herself just in case anything happens. I wish her luck and hope she improves her financial and employment situation! Another great episode Caleb :)
Are we just going to gloss over the part where she talks about how much room she still has on her credit card when Caleb asks about an emergency fund? CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT EMERGENCY FUNDS.
Finding this channel changed my whole thought process on my financing. Started Uber eats on the side and averaging 25$ an hour, thx bro for the wake up call
I just want to say thank you, Caleb. I've always been somewhat frugal and have never had any issues with finances, but watching your videos has urged me to get my money in order. Over the last two months or so, after I discovered your channel, I downloaded a budgeting app and started tracking my spending to the cent. I began saving more intensively and established a twelve-month plan to pay off my student loans, making me 100% debt free. Keep doing what you're doing-you're having a positive influence.
Always enjoy seeing someone on the show receptive to constructive criticism and genuinely want to learn how to change. I hope she can keep it up - where there is a will, there's a way.
A tip for people trying to get into real estate. Focusing on getting buying clients first. Listing clients (selling their house for them) are much harder to get for a new agent. Clearly she was getting bad advice for a while (i.e. purchase open house signs, etc....). And start out with real estate as your part time job.
She has a story or an excuse for everything. The defensiveness makes her look like she’s not learning a damn thing and definitely not going to change. I have a feeling she started “working on her debt” a few weeks before this show so she wouldn’t look as bad. When she says she wanted to come on the show to give advice to others in her position and not to learn or grow create a game plan, it screams “I already know it all.”
I went through all the shorts first, now going through the videos. Can’t stop! Entertaining and informative. Hope people consider taking your “not financial advice” .

Hopefully she gets some experience under her belt and then hits the road.
When she says 19x4x12, I feel like she doesn’t know what she’s talking about is the most likely scenario.
I feel like this employer deleted all the resumes he got from male applicants. And probably interviewed ALOT of young women.
@@James-qi6zi It could be as simple as she's hourly until the 90 days is up. I've seen that before.
Everyone I know on a standard salary gets absolutely screwed and work way more than the 37.5h their salary is based on
She is afraid to ask to see her paystubs?.... As an employee you are required to be provided a paystub.... Sooo many red flags!
Here in California, you have to request a physical copy of your paystub on your payday.
Everybody on this show: "Oh, I am in this position, I do all this stuff"
Caleb: "Oh, cool, how long have you been doing that?"
Everybody: "Yeah, I started yesterday, but it's going really great!"

Also everyone - well I had to buy that because I was looking the part but I been doing great, I mean I started last week, but idk about it, I may not keep doing that stuff, but I may keep doing it too though.
Noticed the same trend of every single person having a great new job and having not worked at that job more than 3 months. Predict most of these people being not in their jobs within the year
"yeeeeeah I basically do my boss's job for them, but I only started last week and get paid $18/h"
If she thinks there will be some sort of workplace retaliation if she insists on getting her paystubs, something is deeply wrong. She should get it every paycheck
Also with her experience she could get a better job that pays like 23-25 a hour if she's willing to pay and be rejected quite a few times. She will find a job tho with her skill set that pays that much
My job posts it online as well as send a paystub to my house every 2 weeks. 😂

My worry is that she says “yeah I know that now” to every time she got “got” but she’s still falling for scams like getting paid a salary of $18/hr.
A salary of 18 hr 😂
18/hr isn't necessarily a scam, I hate to sound rude, but honestly based on her apparent level of knowledge and critical thinking skills, simply based on the first few minutes of this video, it may be the case that her job title is inflated, and the "salary" is cominserate with her abilites.
Well hourly is way better than salary anyway. With salary you could work 50 hours a week with no extra pay or overtime. It’s a scam
@@kevinfloyd808 that may be true... but she thinks she was being told she was to be salaried but isn't. Or maybe she's just confused. Online comments never make me laugh, but this one did.

I dont think she is willing, I just think she is just dumb. I find it surprising she even got such job. USA is really country of opportunities.
Either way she needs to really talk to her employer and figure out where she stands. Something isn't right about this.
Salary and hourly rate aren't two different things inherently. Both of my last two jobs were "salary" but it was just certain amount of hours (standard 40) and "hourly rate" attached to those. Most lower level salary positions still express an hourly rate.
@@Pisschangoatsmeller so you're saying you were hourly, not salaried...
He does that already!
He has done that many times
He has follow ups.. One guy has even been on 3 times
Literally just sat down on my break at work when you posted this. Almost finished watching all of your videos since finding them a week ago. Was getting worried I'd have nothing to watch for a day or two so this is perfect timing!!
Me too I literally just found him a week and a half ago and I've watched almost all his videos.
This guy is blowing up. Will be at 1 mil followers in no time
Every time she speaks, it's like I'm hearing a life story holy moly!
15 min in and she feels and sounds like every young person on instagram/Facebook who look like they have everything together but in reality…
Anyone getting a feeling like she's rambling? Not saying a whole lot.
20 minutes in and she’s said very, very little but hasn’t stopped talking
Yep, similar things have happened to me in at least three jobs.
They got her by giving her that Executive title. She should be making way more
@@isap9535 ohhhhhh. Okay, billboards make way more sense. I’m up in DFW and I’m used to the yard signs
But then again a billboard for an open house seems extra lol
I thought she specifically said they were the signs outside the home. Idk though
Real estate can make a great side hustle! I think the trouble comes when you try to make it a career.
a lot of people get into it because they think it makes money without needing formal education just a license, but this is only at the top level/those with degrees or the few that grind it out with the right connections.
I literally refresh my homepage every Monday until you upload another awesome video 👏🏽
Im an Underwater Ceramic Technician….babygirl you wash dishes 😂 ppl and their titles I swear lmao
Omggg 😅
Are we just going to gloss over the part where she talks about how much room she still has on her credit card when Caleb asks about an emergency fund? CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT EMERGENCY FUNDS.
Finding this channel changed my whole thought process on my financing. Started Uber eats on the side and averaging 25$ an hour, thx bro for the wake up call
Are you driving without commercial insurance like everybody else?
Caleb’s reactions and facial expressions and neck twisting is why I’m here.
A tip for people trying to get into real estate. Focusing on getting buying clients first. Listing clients (selling their house for them) are much harder to get for a new agent. Clearly she was getting bad advice for a while (i.e. purchase open house signs, etc....).
And start out with real estate as your part time job.
$1000+ for a few signs!! Wtf i really wanna know what those signs looked like 😭
Yeah :p
24k Gold with diamond studs.... Then Bedazzled finish in Magenta Pink, to attract Potential Buyers.
I assume they were those big heavy realtor signs for the listings she didn't have. Those can't be cheap.
Over 300k, congrats Caleb!
Thanks!
I love the new pie chart graphics showing the budget breakdown. It makes it much easier to follow
