Not just older persons, even younger persons need a warm up before exercising.. It's ok to be old. That is never a crime. Being young doesn’t mean you are great. I'm 16 by the way
Well I am starting this stuff this Spring. Just turned 71. I am going slowly. I haven't hurt myself using these warm ups first. I may do a little more. You are young!

These kinds of moves are usually in the "cooldown" section of the workouts I do, the warm-ups i'm used to are cardio (jumping jacks, mountain climbers, inchworms, etc). Does it make a difference or as long as I'm warming-up before the set any form of exercise is valid?
@rxp56 Right. I was just curious because people usually do the static ones after the workout (cooldown), not before. I even asked a friend of mine and he basically said what you just did.
Hi Caroline, I have a doubt. Is this a warm up or a cool down? As far as I'm concerned (I'm not really knowledgeable but curious), in the warm up we try to get our body temperature up and in the cool down we do some stretching. So, I'm confused. Please, let me know. Thanks.
I'm not THE Caroline, but if you want a stranger's answer, it's best to stretch both before and after workouts (before to prevent injury and after to prevent soreness). But yes, I would say most workouts are supposed to raise your heart rate more than this to prepare fully for an intense workout
This is correct..this a warm up perfect for all workouts but definitely if performing HIIT for example and jumping involved you can perform more cardio in warm up too if you prefer! Cx
Not one of my favorite videos, and this is a first! Felt like all the movements were going too fast before I could get to the actual stretch already moving onto the next one. Have a favorite other warm-up. I’ll stick to from Caroline.
