Their "A Question of Balance" album has been my favorite of theirs since the first time I heard it, and that remains true to this day! It's not their most popular, but I don't care about that. I'm glad to see it getting some love still!
I just love the bass riffs, very great. Saw Justin Hayward perform once, about twenty years ago, when Jeff Wayne played his War of the Worlds in Amsterdam. Probably Forever Autumn is the most beautiful song Hayward has ever sung.
@@AceofBadeReacts They have been around a LONG time. I changed it to 1967. Try the Redrocks performance of "The Voice". It was used as a PBS fundraiser years ago (although after 1067 since funds were scarce then). The concert was in Colorado with the Colorado Symphony Orchestras (though not this song) in 1994.
The Moody Blues catalogue is huge, but that 2000 video has the very best of them. Take your pick and enjoy: 🙂 - Tuesday Afternoon - English Sunset - Isn't Life Strange - Legend of a Mind - Ride my See-Saw
When I first heard the music of the Moody Blues, I was astounded and deeply moved. I credit the music to adding quality to my life. My first attendance at a Moody Blues live concert was in Baltimore, Oct 1972, I had just returned from the war in Vietnam. The music addressed my PTSD. My second attendance at a Moody Blues live concert was in Seattle, 2014. I openly cried during one of the songs. The music of the Moody Blues has been a part of my life for more than 50 years. It is real music. It is beyond common language and understanding.
What is your favorite live performance by Moody Blues?
Ride My Seesaw is a good one. I'm sure there's a live performance out there.
Are You Sitting Comfortably
For My Lady or Legend Of The Mind live at Redrock
Nights in White Satin live at Red Rocks. Anything from the Red Rocks concert!
@@jackempson3044 Ride My Seesaw is always the finale of the Moody Blues concerts. My all-time favorite! Great suggestion.

Sometimes the most popular album isn't your favorite

It's great. That's really cool
The albums are made to be played from beginning to end.
I don't know if I can do an entire album in one sitting of any artist to be fair
@@AceofBadeReacts I get that but that's how their albums were set up.
London Festival Orchestra. The album was released in 1967 and this concert was in 2000. You might try "The ?Voice".
Wow I didn't know it was released in the middle ages. I'm going to guess you meant 1967

Check out the album version of Isn't Life Strange
I'll add it to the list

As good a group as there has ever been.
They are pretty cool from what I've heard so far

Wow that's great that it helped you. Music is at it's best when that happens
