Justin Hayward, the legendary lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Moody Blues has released a number of solo albums since the 1970s. A selection of songs from those studio & live albums has been compiled on this new best-of CD All The Way, a 15 song album featuring a wide selection of material from the 70s to 2013's acclaimed Spirits Of The Western Sky. Exclusive to this compilation is the new song The Wind of Heaven.
The moody blues are the most authentic group I've ever heard. I'm 60 now and have been listening to them since I was a baby. My parents played the moody blues for us kids to go to sleep with at night. I was a child that was scared of the dark in my bed at night and wet my bed because I thought there were monsters under my bed. My parents took me from doctor to doctor but no matter what I could not get myself out of bed at night even with a night light on. My parents then put the moody blues on one night and sat next to my bedside waiting for me to fall asleep. The moody blues music helped me with the fear of the dark. Their music gave me peace of mind and when my mom told our doctor that I have stopped wetting my bed the doctor was stunned by the fact that the music of the moody blues helped me get over night fear. I still listen to them today. My children are playing the moody blues to my grandkids now and finding the same thing. The moody blues music is brilliant for babies and little children too.

I'm 68 years old I've been a dedicated fan of the Moody Blues since 1969. Saw them on a few occasions. There solo projects are extremely fantastic! Please keep making all your great music. They are my all time number one favorite band.

I, too, was captivated as a young man in the San Fernando Valley listening to Days of Future Passed on FM radio back in the early days when there were no commercials (like cable TV used to be). So much of that album rang true of a sophisticated point of view and not just raunchy and raw rock and roll. There is a time and a place for that, but I think it was Justin's voice, the mellotron, the spoken words of Graeme Edge, Mike Pinder, Ray Thomas' flute and tambourine, John Lodge's bass, and Justin's lead guitar and the consistently outstanding songwriting that floored me. The deep voiced harmonies that rode the wind of Threshold Records cut through my young soul like none other. None of the other British acts were like this one. They were unique and truly represented the world's smallest symphony orchestra. They could also pull it all off live! I pursued a career in music for a while and now I make guitars and ukuleles as a hobby. I have turned to the Moody Blues and Justin Hayward's solo albums for solace many times in my life. Their music, combined with my mustard seed of faith in God have brought me through my rewarding life this far. Thank God for musicians, or troubadours, like Justin Hayward. He never disappoints.

Justin Hayward has stirred me since the beginning, when the Moody Blues' music arrived in the USA. All his songs touches one's very heart and soul, and this song is no different. It brings tears to one's eyes. He has contributed much to the music industry. People ask why has he not been knighted. I really do not think he really cares about that. If it happens it happens. He is doing what he loves best and has loved since a young man and that is writing music, playing his instruments, singing his songs about things happened in his life, or others, and entertaining the people who love him so. Justin Hayward is a rare, sparkling gem.

The idea that this song DIDN'T make it to the final Grammy nominees is just CRIMINAL! This song AND video SHOULD have been in the final list of Grammy nominees! It's the most BEAUTIFUL song that Justin has ever written. I want the Academy Awards people to include it in their nominees for best song. Is that too much to ask for?

I have been a musician for the past 50 years, and the whole time Justin Hayward has been my idol. I can only echo what so many have said about how wonderful he is, and what has done for music this past 1/2 century.

Same here. I fly soaring trikes so i love to listen to the moody blues under cloudbase can you imagine listning to (and the tide rushes in) flying over the surf seagulls and a sunset. Dont even listen to anything modern anymore, no radio. Ive got the best of 3 decades . And ill put this opinionated todays music is pretentious, lacks human emotion, and most. Contain the talent of piece of wood .

I have been a fan of the Moody Blues since I was 16. The first album I heard was To Our Children's Children's Children. It was magical and I went on to buy all their other albums, each one was so special and unique. Justin's voice melted my heart and soul.
It touched my soul, Justin did it again ... Thanks God for having this creation and many thanks to the extraordinay David Minasian.

When a song touches your heart and brings tears to your eyes, like this song did to me - you know the songwriter has produced a golden masterpiece of music. I feel I must praise Justin for being an inspiration to me. This year in lockdown I started to write poetry for the first time since being a teenager. I've started writing lyrics for worship songs to. One has to praise Justin for touching our lives with a calming beauty. This man should be knighted for his services to music and his inspiration for up and coming artists. There are no words that can describe this man's talents.
Such genius and beauty in this and so many of Justin's songs. I have loved his voice and music as well as so many of The Moody Blues' songs for decades. Was privileged to see them in The Coliseum three times in Houston in the 70's and 80's. They were STELLAR. Thanks guys, for the wonderful memories. RIP Ray Thomas. 🙏💖🙏💖🙏💖🌹🌹🌹🌹

Truly he is a gift.... it was revealed in my spiritual prayer, that his song, "I dreamed last night" was not a love song between a man and woman, It was a conversation and Love Song, between him and our Lord. Review it again with an open mind to that possibility.
I have been loving Justin and The Moodies for so many years... well over 50 years. He, and they, have given me so much through the years. They are just a much-loved part of my Life and my emotional and psychic DNA.

The Moodys as we called them were our all time favorite. There are no other name for them except beautifully unique!. The late sixties and seventies were the best years for music but we didn't realize at the time just how wonderful they were. It is Impossible to pick a favorite album or song. I have some special ones but they're all so outstanding.. I was lucky enough to see them live once.

My mum and dad loved the moody blues so I grew up listening to them and hearing his voice in stereo as my dad had the latest in stereo equipment it came with headphones that covered the whole ear so I used to listen to them to not annoy my parents lol this us a lovely tune Justin please could you rite me a song that would be a dream for me. When I was a young folk guitarist in the 70’s Justin’s songwriting and voice was a great influence in my life. Nights was the first piece of sheet music I bought, seems so long ago now but that beautiful tenor voice is still so relevant, he is one of the most important songwriters in modern music

The Moody's and Justin have been my top favourite since 1970 when I heard them for the first time. Justin just doesn't age and only gets better.

This is a very beautiful song about a man that comes back from Afghanistan, to find that the life he had has disappeared. He sets up a ranch and forms a communion with wild horses. Sad and happy all in one song!
