100% same for me I have suffered from jaw clenching and TMJD for over a decade. Spent thousands on acupuncture, dental, chiropractic and massage. Two months ago I had a severe flare up causing face pain and even dizziness which completely inhibited my daily routine. What a timely gift to find Dr Fields videos. I strive to do one or two each day most days. My results are amazing when I am consistent I notice that my jaw is not locking up throughout the day the face pain and dizziness are gone. Thank you Dr Adam, I enjoy your TMJ video every night before bed. Your videos help me not only with TMJ exercise but also with my anxiety. Your positive warm words and voice makes me relaxed. Since I started your videos, my TMJ is so much better. Thank you very much for making these videos. You are truly my savior.
I have done several of your TMJ exercises on a regular daily basis. I have to say that this one is a must do it! I have instantaneously felt the correction of my posture and even the alignment much needed….from my lower back all the way up to my head! I will also learn to be happy in the middle of my challenges😊! Greetings and thanks from Germany!
I am so grateful for your support and expertise. Your kind words are so helpful as part of this treatment. I have been suffering from jaw pain for 10 years and I find your holistic approach to healing innovative. Thank you ❤
At first I was reluctant to try this video in the series. I am so happy i did! My TMJ, balance, posture and even the knot in my Trapezius feels better. Dr. Field's uses the word "grateful" in this video. I am definitely grateful for my daughters hand to hold, but i'm sure I can speak for everyone that watches and uses your instructional videos that we are grateful you have taken the time to create these insightful and extremely helpful and healing videos for those that live way too far away and are suffering. Thank you Dr. Field's!
Thank you Dr. Adam! your TMJ videos have brought me so much relief from my issues but also my mental well being on top of it! It has only been a week or so after finding your channel and following the exercises, it has brought me so much relief and I know I have ways to go yet in my journey but you have been a daily joy in recovery and self love.
Thank you so much for your T!J videos. Life saver. I’ve been grinding my teeth all my life and often have painful jaws the next day. I’ve only done your exercises once and already feel such great relief. Really loving your positive vibes and look forward for my dose of calm every evening. ❤
So glad, Stefanie! I hope you can get your jaws to relax. Don't forget to forgive everyone in your life (living or dead). Anything running around in the subconscious can go right to clenching/grinding.
I think I also get tight jaws, because I have very dry mouth (Sjögren syndrome). I notice that even during the day, I’m tightening the muscles and pushing my tongue to the roof of my mouth. Any tips?
Dr. Adam, I can't thank you enough for sharing these TMJ exercises with us. You seem to know exactly how to help what's wrong with my jaw when I can't find the right way to explain it to doctors and chiropractors. I want you to know I genuinely mean it when I say your videos are the ONLY thing that has helped me, even when I've been in to see professionals face to face. These exercises bring me immediate relief, it's not 100% but I would honestly say at least 50% improvement. I've been suffering from TMJD for a long time with it steadily getting worse, and I could cry doing these.
I'm so glad to have found your video! I have done so much good for my tmj over the years with yoga. What a huge improvement in my posture and jaw mobility! When I recommend this path to people with tmj difficulties, however, they often don't want to try it. I think it's intimidating? Or otherwise an uninviting exercise path. Your video is just super accessible! And I'm so so happy that you have a whole-body approach! I will definitely be sending people your way, and returning to this video myself.
I have really been suffering extreme pain with TMJ. I have steroid injections about once a year. They help, but I am really glad to have your exercises. SO glad to know that I can make a difference this way. Thank you!
I’m so grateful I found your videos! I have had neck and shoulder tension. Jaw pain and headaches off and on for many years. Self help can go a long way in healing ourselves. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and positivity. 💜
I like how you attack the problem through multiple possible areas. It could be due to bad posture, it could be due to staying in a particular way too long. It could be tension and stress. You manage to hit all of them without actually calling out you're hitting multiple birds with the same video. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks doc for the new content focused on headache/TMJ that focuses around the neck and facial muscles. It’s giving my somatic tinnitus/dizziness intermittent relief. By far the most effective exercise you’ve shown me is the occipital lifts. The closest I can get to silence after doing some of those. 👍🏼
Thank you thank you very much Dr. Adam Fields❤️ ,your TMJ videos helped a lot..last evening still there's a pain beside my right upper gum ,right nose and right eyes ..but this morning while I eat breakfast ,thanks God I feel little pain only ..when I drink hot coffee I did not feel the ache /tingling sensation ...thank you thank you very ❤️Godbless🙏🙏
This one works pretty well for me I have mild tmj pain or tightness in jaw and after doing these it feels so good and relaxed. Thank you doctor for sharing these.
It's great to have you to work out with,, my new shoulders felt heavy,, only been 1 yr. On last 1,,so I'm still trying to get them back more. It's a no wonder my TMJ started giving me a fit,on top of I have really high arches,,so it's walking odd effecting my TMJ but I'm not having them lowered. Sports surgeon wants t lower them. No!!
Thank you !!! i suffer of tmj since a bad dentist took off my 4 wishdom theeth, since my face is a little bit not symétrical, so thanks for your videos that help a lot.
Excellent video but I'm having an issue with the first excercise: when I push my head back against the wall, it forces my jaw to close and grind my teeth, I can't avoid this no matter how much I tuck my chin or actively try to keep my jaw open. Is this normal? Any way to avoid this? Other than that, this is pure gold. I've been following your videos for a while and they helped me so much that I'm lost for words, it really changed my life for the better. The most helpful excercises, explained in the best possible way and with the most positive atitude, you should be proud of yourself! Thank you so much and please take care of yourself too, the world needs more of you!
Stretching the neck under the chin has worked wonders for me. I lie on my back across the bed with my head and arms flopped over the side. You have to have good core strength to get back up but I feel ready for anything after doing it and my TMJ pain is definitely subsiding.
Excellent video, well done 👍 I like doing this exercise, it really feels like it targets a lot of things at once. However my lower back muscles, the ones that run vertical either side of spine get tight and cramped when doing wall angles.
Thank you! Is there any muscles related to TMJ and also ETD? I believe my jaw and limited mobility on the right side (TMJ) has caused some ETD in the right ear. Alot of ear popping on the right side. Is there any muscles related with this? Maybe the medial pterygoid gland and palpations inside the mouth could help? Update: Applying deep pressure towards the medial pterygoid, right after whenever I would open my jaw/yawn the clicking/popping definitely subsided! Holy moly, hopefully this all comes together and the clicking/noise sensitivity goes away. Gonna keep on going back to your videos and improving posture while also working on temporalis and other muscles involved. How often should I palpate inside the mouth?
You're on it! I would do 2 videos/day. If you are really sensitive on the pterygoids, hold for 20-40 seconds 2x and do it 3x/day but with a relaxed face. I like how thoroughly you are engaged.
Thanks for these videos doc! Should these eliminate nighttime grinding? Or is it just to take care of the symptoms? My issue is that I’m grinding away my teeth and causing cavities
Hi Fallon, Two 300cc breast implants weight less than a pound and a half. If you already have them in and there is no other problem with them, I believe you can get yourself in the shape to handle them. If one is out of shape neuromuscular and biomechanically, they can be a problem. I really like your question and will be doing a Q&A video on it. Thank you!
I was thinking you could potentially do a anterior pelvic tilt fix stretch/strengthening video for weak glutes/abs/tight hip flexors. Since this is correlated with TMJ as well, whatcha think?
Thank you Dr. Adam for all these exercises. Is there a 'correct' sleeping/sitting position for those who have TMJ joint dysfunction? Also do you have any exercises for the Eustachian tubes? Thank you again.
Hi Vauna, The posture is so connected to TMJ and that feeling you are having. As long as you have had a healthcare provider rule out anything more severe, try the occipital lifts and the strong posture neck retractions and see if they help that dizzy feeling. Look at my Neck RElief Series also
I have a jaw problem I couldn't open my mouth so I did several physiotherapy sessions at a kinitherapeut for 8 months but I haven't really had good results,, Accidentally I discovered your video and I did it twice a day for 4weeks,, Now I can open my mouth and the pain has reduced you are angel doctors thank you so much❤️💜 Doctor FYI,, Recently I developed that I have TMJ osteoarthritis (result of MRI) Do I keep doing these exercises? What do you advise me doctor? What should I do as a next step, Knowing that my doctor will inject me plasma in the my ATM🙂
I like the PRP (platelet rich plasma) and the ozone injections show promising results to help with TMJ arthritis. Thanks so much for sharing your success story.

Right after I do your videos I feel a lot of pain in the right side of my jaw/cheekbone (tmj gives me pain and tightness on the right side of my jaw, and clicking on my left). Is this normal or should I stop doing the videos? I haven't done them for very long. Maybe I just have to keep going?
Any advice for neck tightness? I have no diagnosis but severely tight neck that often feels pinch and also shoulder tightness with pinched nerves at times radiating to arms. I enjoy this but my neck feels tight pushing back is that ok?

This is a little difficult for me I must say. I don’t understand what and how to push everything against the wall I feel like I’m going against my spine’s natural position. Maybe I’ll stick to your other TMJ videos and hope that’ll be enough. 😊
Hello, Dr. Adam's, I did Posture exercise in morning but could not sleep at night due to severe teeth clenching, muscle soreness and headache. I did not have Tmj pain before exercise that day, is it normal as it's wqs my first day or should I stop doing it?
Hi! I want you to do TMJ 3 and TMJ 5 and really focus on relaxing your face when doing the wall posture exercises. It's easy to focus on the postural muscles and forget to relax the jaw. it may have been a factor
Do you have any patients that deal w TMJ along w SI joint problems? I had PT for my SI and he said they aren’t connected. Then I read it can be. Curious on your thoughts. Yes, I will be watching your vids on SI joint pain. Between my jaw and my hips, I’m a mess.😢
Can forward head posture be the cause of tmj or does it pushing your head back just relieve the tension? I ask because forward head posture correction has been the only procedure to relieve my Pain

Hi Dr Adam, Thanks for everything you do. You have helped me a lot with TMJ. Great videos on breathing techniques too.
Happy to help and let's get this channel helping more and more people ; )
I think this is my favorite of your TMJ videos. Thanks for producing it.
Went a little off the script on this. Glad you think so and more to come working on posture.
Thank you so much for these videos these have improved my symptoms so much and have made talking easier thank you 🙏🏻
I am So grateful for all your videos! Thank you so much👏👏
You are so welcome Elaine
Thank you doctor fields I’ve been having hard time but when I saw your videos it helped me a lot thank you so much it makes me cry 😭
I'm so happy for you
You have helped me so much! Thank you. I love how grateful you are.
Living in gratitude, Jennifer
It's great to have you to work out with,, my new shoulders felt heavy,, only been 1 yr. On last 1,,so I'm still trying to get them back more. It's a no wonder my TMJ started giving me a fit,on top of I have really high arches,,so it's walking odd effecting my TMJ but I'm not having them lowered. Sports surgeon wants t lower them. No!!
I'm very thankful for videos!!
THANK YOU
So nice of you...you are most welcome!
Thank you !!! i suffer of tmj since a bad dentist took off my 4 wishdom theeth, since my face is a little bit not symétrical, so thanks for your videos that help a lot.
You're so welcome, Emie
Love your videos and your positivity!
Love that feedback : )
Another cracking video Adam! Thanks for all you do for us 😊
My pleasure, Elizabeth. Excited to help!
big big big thanx for you adam from EGYPT with love for great exercises ❤️
My pleasure! What a joy to help someone in Egypt.
I love your kindness and help you give me. I am getting better 🤗 I just wanted to know if it's normal the side pains on my side.
As posture is shifting, Frances, there can be soreness in your postural muscles. Enjoy the shift ; )
Thank you so much and please take care of yourself too, the world needs more of you!
try attaching your tongue fully to your palate, it will prevent you from grinding your teeth
Stretching the neck under the chin has worked wonders for me. I lie on my back across the bed with my head and arms flopped over the side. You have to have good core strength to get back up but I feel ready for anything after doing it and my TMJ pain is definitely subsiding.
Thanks Dr for uploading more tmj videos.
Always welcome
Grateful for you! Thank you!!!!
And you too : )
thank you very much!!!!. Excellent class, and excellent teacher!!!!
Thank you! 😃
That is the hardest thing I have ever done. I think I need to find your previous videos i couldn't make it past 7 minutes.
Tôi là người việt nam không biết tiếng anh, nhưng cũng tập theo và thấy khỏe hẳn mong là được hết luôn, rất biết ơn bác sỉ từ phương xa , cảm ơn
Im greatfull for you doc this is better than money thanks
Excellent video, well done 👍
I like doing this exercise, it really feels like it targets a lot of things at once.
However my lower back muscles, the ones that run vertical either side of spine get tight and cramped when doing wall angles.
Inspiring as hell. And we want this Dr. live for another 60 years
Thanks mucho!
Thankyou so mutch doctor relief i want 2 do all 5 exercises day va
This is great exercise. Thank you, Adam 🍀 Can we do it two times a day? THANK YOU 💙
Yes you can! Go for it!
Grateful for these videos!! 😁😁
Bravo. Regards Australia. My partner also loves your exercises.
Glad you like them!
Thanks so much dr Adam. I fell better after treatment 7 days. Now I use Splint / night guard isn't still use ? Hope yours advice. Tq
Youuuuupiiii TMJ 5 I am sooo happy merci adaaam❤️
We're having fun ; )
@@dradamfields yes yes ❤️
Thanks for these videos doc! Should these eliminate nighttime grinding? Or is it just to take care of the symptoms? My issue is that I’m grinding away my teeth and causing cavities
Love this thank you. 🙏❤️🇮🇪
Love that you loved it!
Thank you!
You are welcome

You are most welcome
Good morning
Thanks again ❤
Thank you too
Thank you so much for all of your excellent videos. What is your opinion on breast implants affecting the posture and relation to TMJ pain?
Hi Fallon, Two 300cc breast implants weight less than a pound and a half. If you already have them in and there is no other problem with them, I believe you can get yourself in the shape to handle them. If one is out of shape neuromuscular and biomechanically, they can be a problem. I really like your question and will be doing a Q&A video on it. Thank you!
I was thinking you could potentially do a anterior pelvic tilt fix stretch/strengthening video for weak glutes/abs/tight hip flexors. Since this is correlated with TMJ as well, whatcha think?
I'm with ya, Joey. Posture/core are the correct direction.
I'm wondering if I should do a pelvic tilt while doing this routine? Thanks!
Yes you do. When I am having your flatten your low back against the wall, that is a pelvic tilt
great video
So glad you found it. So key!
Thank you Dr. Adam for all these exercises. Is there a 'correct' sleeping/sitting position for those who have TMJ joint dysfunction? Also do you have any exercises for the Eustachian tubes? Thank you again.
Yes, absolutely Look up my Eustachian Tube Dysfunction video.. There is also a separate Q&A
doing thes once todays click my throat crasy and i can breath for the 1st time in my life it hurts so good. it saved my life
That's incredible! I've seen that a lot in my practice.
Adam, this is terrific - but is there any chance you could do a version without the distracting music so we can concentrate on your voice please?
Good feedback, Nicki. I've wondered whether the music was good or not. I'll lower it or eliminate it in the next video
How often can we do these exercises? Finalllly I feel something working
Great to hear!
Do 2/day

Wow, THANK YOU!! Your videos have been soooooo helpful.
My stooped shoulders need your help. I often feel dizzy and/or disoriented.
Hi Vauna, The posture is so connected to TMJ and that feeling you are having. As long as you have had a healthcare provider rule out anything more severe, try the occipital lifts and the strong posture neck retractions and see if they help that dizzy feeling. Look at my Neck RElief Series also
I have a jaw problem I couldn't open my mouth so I did several physiotherapy sessions at a kinitherapeut for 8 months but I haven't really had good results,, Accidentally I discovered your video and I did it twice a day for 4weeks,, Now I can open my mouth and the pain has reduced you are angel doctors thank you so much❤️💜
Doctor FYI,, Recently I developed that I have TMJ osteoarthritis (result of MRI) Do I keep doing these exercises? What do you advise me doctor? What should I do as a next step, Knowing that my doctor will inject me plasma in the my ATM🙂
I like the PRP (platelet rich plasma) and the ozone injections show promising results to help with TMJ arthritis. Thanks so much for sharing your success story.
@@dradamfields merci à vous j'attends avec impatience votre prochain vidéo pour soulager mes ATM💜
THANKYOU! THIS make me feel really well in old my body non only jaw🙆!
You're getting younger this year!

Are these videos safe for someone with a displaced disc in their TMJ?
Approach the series slowly and listen to your body. if you find a move that doesn't feel right, just modify with an isometric contraction or neck stretch

This might help with further instructions

@@dradamfields Thank you! It did help. Will use this video instead. :)
@@dradamfields Thank you Doctor, I will do it tomorrow again as per your instructions and will update you about the results.
This one was really difficult!!
Hi can this work for trigeminal neuralgia?
It was not my intention but try it out. I have had some success with endonasal cranial adjusting.
