Hi Samantha. It is possible that the fish smell is due to a condition called bacterial vaginosis which I explain in my video. It is a very common condition. I would recommend seeing a doctor for further assessment as it is treatable. I hope this helps.

I’m in tears due to the fact I haven’t seen many Black Female or male doctors. I have endometriosis and I have come across some bad doctors that can never explain what’s going on with my body. It's because of the country you live in. Here in the Caribbean 90% are black and a good percentage are women.

In Jamaica majority of our doctors are black. About an equal number of men and women. A good amount of indian and chinese doctors are here as well. I think it's where you live why you see so few.

Soap and body wash is a no no at least for me. I initially admit a fishy odor. Disrupts my oh. I only use organic vaginal cleansers. But I do use a cleaner. I can’t imagine only using water
I noticed the more sugar and dairy I eat it affects my ph not in a good way. The cleaner I eat, fruits, veggies, no/ or very little meat no dairy and very little sugar I have a neutral or even eliminated fragrance. I can sometimes skip deodorant when I eat clean... I need to listen to my body..

Update…. I replaced my Ninja blender and have been on a fluid diet to cleanse my system for a week now. Lots of veggies , water and frozen fruit for taste…..
The bloat has decreased dramatically, ph is balancing ( haven’t been experiencing yeast ) and my #2’s don’t smell like Hell, death and destruction…… Dare I even say there hasn’t been an odor at all. I’m going to slowly add solids back into … selective solids…

Yes. And i itch almost every day and I'm not even sexually active. I just can't understand. I try almost every thing. I wipe myself well when i use the bathroom (I use a mirror to look). I try not to let the soap get too far in my area when ever I bath and I wash down there thoroughly. Most times i use just water to wash down there and not soap because the soap can irritate the vaginal as well. I'm just tired now its been years I'm having this issue. It was worst in the past but now it only itches at times, like right after I come out of the bathroom and when i go to bed at nights, but it never really itch during the day. 😔. I went to the doctor years a go and he gave me a cream and it stopped the itching for a while and then it would start itch again. I'm planning to go to the doctor about it again very soon. I'm just tired of the itching now.
@@melboo1179 Have you tried changing your laundry detergent? I used to be itchy at night as well. After changing detergents haven't itched since.
Melissa Lawrence it can be your laundry detergent. A lot of them have harsh ingredients and can be very irritating to the vaginal area. I had that problem with Tide. My OB/GYN asked what laundry detergent I used and when I said Tide he told me to stop using it and try something milder like Ivory or Dreft which are used for washing baby clothes. Sure enough no more vaginal i itching !!!!
@@21wildcat4life I've been using Sud Sud laundry detergent, malibu soap to wash my underwear when ever I bath. So maybe i need to change the Sud Sud I'm using? I recently started using the malibu soap so i guess it's the sud sud that i have been using for years now.

I'm the same way. I always have a scent from my normal discharge and I tend to have a good amount of discharge which is healthy discharge and no abnormal colors. But I'm not going to lie when I say I need to always wear a linear pad and I've done one with odor lock. Lol

Beyond that, non-natural sex opens up a huge host of bacteria and many who engage in such also engage with multiple partners in similar ways which is why certain people are considered high risk in health. If they won't be faithful to CHRIST YESHUA GOD ALMIGHTY then they will not be faithful to you and same with who they sleep with. They may also engage men to have unnatural sex and you may encounter spit from a woman that has bacteria from fecal matter from men with those sexual habits going between sodomy and oral.

It's a real shame this is not taught in schools, this is SO so important and not just for the women to know.
I've had to learn this myself which is good and bad. Don't ever be embarrassed to check your vaginal odor. I do this regularly because it let's me know how she's doing (lol) and I'd encourage even men to check themselves occasionally too.
There have definitely been times where my vagina would smell different than usual and it can definitely be from change in diet, mood and whether you're sexually aroused..or you've just been too lazy to shower that day- it happens everyone does it.
And a disclaimer: *YOUR GENITAL AREA IS CONSTANTLY WARM AND SWEATS DUE TO FRICTION.* In no way are you meant to smell like an expensive perfume brand. This message in our society is so corrupting. Your vagina smells like a vagina, your penis smells like a penis and your anus smells like an anus. Don't ever be tempted or pressured into thinking it shouldn't smell. Embrace your body's natural scents, it does this for a reason.

I don’t have a smell... then again I shower everyday. The only time there’s a smell is if I miss a day or two of showering and even then it’s not noticeable, that or unless I’m having my period. I don’t eat fast food, I intermittently fast, And I drink lots of water. Idk if that has anything more to do with it but who knows. I also never wear underwear unless I’m going somewhere. Also ladies if you get a yeast infection after being with a guy and he gives you shit for it, please tell him it’s probably because of his germ infected penis.

This should be taught to all young girls and boys too so we don’t spend all our teenage and young adult years feeling abnormal and embarrassed and even ashamed. It took me meeting another woman that was so open and knowledgeable and confident about her own smell to shock me into acceptance. She also taught me that if your smelling a little stronger than you would like then just wash yourself until the smell is no longer detectable. That sounds obvious but it wasn’t to me. I always just washed it once in the shower but now I wash once then smell the wash cloth and if the odor is there I wash it again and then smell the wash cloth again and you just repeat that process until you are satisfied. Only takes a couple times usually. My mother should have taught me this but she didn’t. Anyway thank you Doctor!
I couldn’t even begin to describe what mine smells like. It’s just smells dirty. But I’ve always had that smell. I wish I knew what was normal and not normal. I feel so out of the loop.

If it was always there, perhaps your diet or transferred at birth. Start with the diet, lemon water for a week, no food (mighty as well pray while fasting get a closer relationship with CHRIST). That will reset your gut a bit, then go to a typical "American", but organic diet.

I have heard this many times but it's better for you to wear pads and just to switch them often so you don't dry out and keep the opening of your vagina exposed all day and open and pressed open it leads to a looser vaginal entrance
I started using menstrual cups 10 years ago and I will never willingly go back to pads or tampons. I've had to a couple of times due to circumstances and I couldn't even handle a full 24 hours using either. 😅

@@Katlady001 periods are «yucky» no matter what method you use to contain it.. each to their own to make themselves feel more clean. Some prefer pads and some prefer tampons and some prefer cups. Saying someones preffered method is gross is not very polite and not a matter of yours any way.
I use cups and it makes me feel clean, it takes some practice though

I use them after my cycle. A few days to balance out the ph. They work great would do a apple cider bath soak . But my tub needs to be fixed . So i had to find a alternative . They are pretty good. I dont have any issues.

I came across your video on k.p and was so intrigued and have been looking for help every where. Now I have watched many of your videos. I am a white woman from the north east and I’m in love with your intelligence, the ease and comfort of your voice. @the age of 49 I can tell you I went through menopause and it changed me and my life completely. It has been a very tough ride for 2 years. I have never and I mean never gone to my gyno since getting my period @13 and didn’t walk out with out a yeast or bacteria
Infection. I am clean. I shower and have a husband for 16 years. I have strips that test my PH at home and it’s never normal. I only use honey pot everything for the vagina. Amazing and sensitive products. The other thing is I lost my sense of smell 9 years ago when my son was 2 years old. It has never come back. My body has a severe problem with antibiotics. I get so deathly sick it’s not normal. All my bacteria turns bad and my
Body turns against me. It’s horrible. I use azo products , take probiotics and don’t use fragrance and never soap. I take cranberry pills and use boric acid inserts for help. I specifically take probiotics for p h balance and good bacteria and NOTHING has helped. It’s frustrating and it bothers me sooo much I can’t explain. I am not embarrassed. Know one should be, because if you are then you tend to close up, not speak or try and learn what can possibly help. Grateful for finding someone like you to learn from . 🙏🏻🙏🏻 . If you have any tips I would love that. P.s. I also have k.p. ( never ends problems and pain just us women have and go through).

My vaginal always hurt since I can remember. When I got older its started the fishy discharge. I’ve been to many gynecologist but no treatment. I drink so many antibiotics now I can’t even stand the smell. Thanks to the Most High I found a husband who loves me for who I am. I have two kids and I am still sick. I pray one day God heals me because I can’t find treatment anywhere.

@@liveforchrist1474 That is not good advice. There's good bacteria the vagina needs. Washing inside and outside that area with personal or regular soapy wash all the time, like the Dr says in the video, will throw off her ph balance! Which can lead to a real problem down there.
Listen to the Dr in the video before you go around giving bad advice.
