@@03jojo78 not OP but I got mine 2 weeks after lexus announced that it would be discontinued for 46k out the door. Got lucky before the price increase Edit: 16 USB gsf with red interior and 35k miles
Everyone in my city has a 392. Never have i seen a GSF , maybe a IsF but theyre rare. I LOVE torque so the 392 has always been my go to car , but the GSF is perfect. Perfect colorways , interior is incredible, wheels are sick. Sleeper

Because it's overpriced 85k you'd be a fool to get it for that price even if money isn't an issue. The scat is fairly priced and a American car in America , I'd expect to see more GSF in china or Japan. GSF just doesn't look as good as a scatpack charger or Challenger
No doubt, Scatpack has better infotament, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Most GSF buyers don't care about outdated infotainment. The GSF buyer is someone who wants a unique, rare, powerful, amazing build quality machine. Many GSF owners form an emotional attachment to it. The craftsmanship of the Lexus will outlast any Dodge. The Lexus GSF is a very rare and limited production car while Dodge sctapacks and Hellcats are for the masses, they are seen everywhere and everyone has them. Think about the last time you spotted GSF on the road? GSF is possibly more scarce than the Ferrari F480. The sound American muscle cars make is mostly through their exhaust systems. The Lexus induction sound offers an instant eargasm at 3600 RPM and when combined with an aftermarket system - a sound of thunder opens up. Either way, both cars are great and, although GSF is my choice, the Scatpat has a lot going and the sound of the American V8 is always classic.
@Speed Gate I had a 2013 Dodge Charger R / T and it didn't last more than 150,000 miles, But a Lexus I'm sure it would last more than 150,000, it also has a Toyota engine, those are bulletproof!
@Speed Gate i can’t speak for all dodges but I have two close friends one bought a slightly used charger and one actually ordered a v8 challenger new and they’ve both had numerous issues. The one with the challenger actually had an issue dodge couldn’t figure out how to fix so they had to cut him a check
@Speed Gate Even if dodge has good reliability, it will never beat toyota/lexus reliability. The 1UZ-FE is one of the most reliable v8s in the market, can go 300K miles no problem
@Speed Tube yeah you have no idea what you’re talking about. There are statistics that show reliability amongst car brands, dodge is somewhere between middle of the pack-bottom of the list. Lexus has been #1 for like 13 of the last 15 years & when they weren’t first they were #2 lol
@Speed Tube My brother have a 2008 lexus with almost 500k miles today and still running strong zero issues. Got 2 other friends with 2014 and 2018 challengers both are below 60k miles. One got issues with AC , and valve ticking.. the other had problems with fuel pump die frequently!!!
@@PlatapusPhucker used Lexus is over 100k ? Cause last I checked a hellcat or ever a redeye is over 100k fully equipped. Stop hurling bullshit you Lexus fan boy.
The GSF is totally worth it when buying used. I agree that at $85k, it’s overpriced.... but gently used and only like 30k miles and costs ~45k, that’s the better deal. Hence why I put my money where my mouth is and bought one last year. 👍
@@Luke_MoonWalker it definitely did. I was able to trade it in for a new car and basically lost no money from driving it for those couple years. Winning!
@@christophersparkmanAfter watching this video and you stating that you bought a used GSF. What made you finally got rid of it and buying a new car? Which car did you end up buying and why that car brand?
@@SIDVENOM the reason I got rid of it is bc my family is growing and we needed a bigger vehicle. I bought an Audi A6 Allroad (wagon) but it was a total pile so I sold it and decided to just drive my old beater that's paid off. 💰
Bought a scatpack 3 years ago, its a great car, what it lacks in interior it makes up for in performance and you just start to live for that v8 roar feeling the engine vibrate through your body, there really is nothing like it and the 8speed transmission is so smooth and aggressive! I love every minute of it
ツ_Riftz It’s not easy, as you say, as how long does the GSF depreciate from $85K to $40K? By the time it hits at Scat Pack’s price, its tech would be ancient.
@@kristians2704 That's true, but reliability and resale are important factors. I worked for dodge before they are p.o.s.'s. Always back to the dealer with problems. The lexus only goes to the dealer when it's due for routine maintenance.
Loved the comparison. I own a 2016 scat charger maximum steel blue with 100k. Absolutely the best car I have ever owned. Zero mechanical issues. Brings a smile per mile and has been worth the maintenance cost. I am selling it this week given the crazy used car market. The plan is in 2022 when the car market stabilizes buy a used GSF/RCF or buy another Dodge. Maybe a F8 green challenger wide body scat shaker with tan interior and the manual since the days of a 6.4 liter manual are numbered. My brain says Lexus my heart says Dodge.
No comparison, I still have my 1999 GS400 with 300,000 Km still running like new. Pass to my youngest son, my 2004 sc430 with 200,000 pass to my older son. I drive 2011 ISF still worth $48,000 which I drove or for 10 years.
I have not even watched the video and can say it is useless to compare the two. The Lexus has a fit and finish quality which shadows over the Dodge no matter which way you slice it. I have a 2018 Mustang GT with all the options but I know for a fact I cant compare it to an LC500 or RCF etc. If I had the money, I would be in a Lexus no contest.
Like comparing American beer and Japanese Whiskey... 2 different classes and purpose built cars. The casual fun car vs the refined classy grand tourer sedan.
@@GrandmasFolly production facility is still different from development teams and the group of people spearheading the project. Regardless of origins, they're still different classes.

For the longest time I have been going back and forth from the gsf to the Charger and I could never see myself spending the money on the F. Trying to bargain and negotiate with Lexus to obtain a deal was a nightmare. Dodge went above and beyond with rebates, dealer discounts etc... I’ve had my 392 charger for over 6 months now and don’t regret it. I am also Lexus master certified technician and can agree they have the best machine on the market and this being my first “American” car I am impressed with the technology that’s has been put into it. Reliability is their as it is a simple machine in terms of engine and transmission is a German ZF which is found on the new Supra, all of FCA products and on bmw and Mercedes. Interior I agree you can see fingerprints etc.. I used chemical guys ceramic fabric interior and nothing sticks to the dash.
I fail to understand why you couldn't get a used one, if you are a tech you know what to look at. Now the prices are higher then they were 6 months ago, I got a new one much under invoice because I couldnt get a used one local to me. the challenger is a beauty too and sounds insane.
I had the same issue picking the GSF AND THE 392. I already have a supercharged Lexus but wanted a v8. So was going back and fourth love Lexus love the v8 but wish it had more tq. Love the 392 but see it at every light. So I got the 2017 Chevrolet SS/Holden commodore. Luxury inside 6.2 v8. Plenty of tq. And its drives like a German without the high maintenance. I've owned plenty of BMW and benz and when I say I was shocked when I drove it. So good that I'm thinking of buying another one just for a daily. Also price is going up lol
I've owned a GS for 9 years. Replaced brake pads, water pump, battery, lower control arms. Can have it washed for free once a week. Best car Ive ever owned. Beats anything for reliability, comfort and build quality. You won't win any races but an amazing piece of kit
If i can afford it, i'll take the GSF, i expect it to be more reliable and obviously better built, but since Charger is cheap in price, i'll take the charger, but but since i cant afford a 40k car either, i'll stick with my old used car, tyvm.
Gsf used not many miles in the 50's now. I have one and an isF. What some don't know is the piping and cat systems on these are notoriously restricting and just simply letting it breathe with intake/header/exhaust and tune if you'd like, just bolt ons, gain alot more power than almost any other car, dyno proven results. With the sound and torque increase it really wakes it up and puts it past its contemporaries.
Journalists are absolutely killing the car industry. The biggest factor for this dude when comparing rear wheel drive v8’s seems to be the infotainment systems
A used 4 year old GS-F cost more than a new Dodge. That should tell you which car would be the best pick. The best car is LEXUS, no headaches or worries.
I have to say that my experience with Dodge has been better than some of the European brands I have owned which have required frequent and expensive repairs, not to mention steep depreciation. I have owned 2 Scat Packs ( currently daily a 2019 Scat Pack Charger) and a Hellcat. They have all been very reliable and fun. It also seems that the depreciation curve of the Charger Scat isn’t very steep either. After a generous discount from my dealer, my Charger seems to be worth what I paid 18 months ago. Dodge seems to get a bad wrap because many owners flog their cars mercilessly and don’t maintain them well. It is a machine that spends a great part of its life outdoors and is exposed to the elements. The Lexus GSF is a glorious car and much more refined than the Dodge; no contest. I have watched the market on the Lexus F cars and they do depreciate steeply until their sweet spot of $35,000. Automobiles depreciate and require maintenance. The more you spend, the more you’ll lose ( Porsche GT3 excluded) . The manufacturer sets the initial retail price, the consumer market decides future value based on aesthetics, reliability, performance , availability and perceived value. I paid $39,000 for my well equipped Charger Scat Pack after some clever negotiating. Reliability? I paid $1500 to extend my bumper to bumper and drivetrain warranty to 8 years. 😂
@Speed Gate bro Lexus Is way more reliable then dodge it’s a much a smarter buy but if you don’t care about anything but fast but a Honda put big ass turbos and you’ll beat everything on the block
1st Lexus IS not European it's Japanese, Toyota and Honda do NOT depreciate like a dodge AT ALL lol, a scat pack may tell sell at 35k but when u go to trade It they only giving you 20 when you paid 44 if you trade a Lexus GSF and you paid (used) 50 and you tread It in a year you getting 50
Nice comparison! But I prefer reliability and something you don’t see on the road every day. I love the way the charger looks inside and out but they’re a dime a dozen. I’ll spend on the GSF
You get what you pay for. That fact never goes away. Drive both of these cars for 5-7 years and see how much they are costing to keep on the road. The Lexus will still just be gas, oil and tires, the Dodge will need several trips to the repair shop, that's just the nature of American made cars. Then, put them up for sale after all that time and see what they will put in your bank account towards your next ride. The Lexus will still have a lot or worth and the Dodge very little by comparison. The Dodge will cost less, but over time and with resale factored in, not as much less as you might think. I've had my GS F for one year now and I still am in love with it. When I get out and walk away, about half the time I still look back at it, that's after a year. That's a lot of love. BTW, smoothest V-8 engine I have ever seen by a long shot. It's really hard to tell if it's running by feeling for vibration, it just sits there like it's turned off, really smooth. I may never sell it.
The technology isn't bad. You don't get distracted and look down at it. You park up and learn it real quick then its easy to navigate. It's luxury and sport. Not to find finger prints all over a screen. It stays looking clean and classy
Not sure I understand the complaints about the Lexus remote infotainment interface. I had an '09 GS 350 with a touch screen navigation system. It worked, but over 10 years on, the finger prints added up. In 2013, Lexus redesigned the GS (a major upgrade in just about every way) and touted the no-touch system with the remote joystick as a modern update. Now people are saying that it's "old school" and want a touch screen again. Really? I traded the '09 for a '15 a couple of years ago, and once I got the hang of it, the remote screen has been no problem. As good as that '09 was, the '15 has been the best car I've ever had. Would love a GSF just to have something so rare.
People have become so enamored with gagetery and tech they may miss the bigger picture. I use my phone 80% of the time in this car and the infotainment system is a non issue and not a danger at all IMO, it gives you what you need, not everything you may want. At the end of the day it's how it feels to drive the car and the GSF is a solid, reliable blast to drive. Your reaction at 12:24 says it all :)
I see so many chargers out here in California LA. It’s like every block I see one. Lexus GSF very rare car to have. Lexus for the reliability for the brand. Very fun car to drive. Lexus for the win for me.
This was such a great video man. Thank you so much for this comparison. I love these comparisons. Even though they’re not in the same category, some of us either want the grit or the luxury side of a V8 and this said a lot. Thank you again. Well compared!
If you wait another year the price will reduce to high 30s since they discontinued it. The used car price will go way down because nobody wants a sedan sports car. Right now they are surfing mid 40s.
I agree with you. I don't even have headers on my RC-F yet, just a cat-back exhaust, and it already sounds amazing lol (I have few exhaust video on my channel if you want to check it out.)
That's the issue though - other companies systems don't take 3 years to get comfortable with. The goal should be that a normal person can sit down and navigate the system with relative ease. Their newer track pad style is better, but I still prefer a scroll wheel.
They knew what they were doing when the designed it. It wasn’t meant to be used frequently while driving. I have a 2007 GS350 and I have used the touchscreen maybe twice in the last year.
Any Dodge performance car nowadays the insurance is going to be through the roof because people don’t know how to drive them and they’re getting stolen like crazy
As a woman, I soooo enjoy these videos. The V8 is way too much power for me, but when I see the GSF, it’s a head turner but how often do we see them. I own a F sport black, red interior and I freakin love that car.
Totally agree with you, Lexus F cars are rare in general. I own a RC-F and the most F cars I see on the road are IS-F and sometimes RC-F. Only seen 2 GS-F on the road since I got my RC-F. GS-F are so rare and unique.
the problem is you will be on your 4th charger before the GFS breaks down. i have an ES 350. i must say that car is a tank. i have 190k miles on and drives like its supposed to.
the problem is you have no idea what you're talking about. By the time the GSF reaches that mileage the amount you'll spend on it could've bought you another car. Meanwhile the Charger will be doing just fine with way less maintenance cost.
I just purchased a 2020 Scat Pack Charger Widebody, talk about a high performance bargain! The extra $6k is mote then worth it for the widebody, 6 piston Brembo's 305/35/20 tires on 20x11 wide wheels with adjustable suspension and active exhaust. Also the new Widebody's are underrated from the factory and pushing almost 505hp. Get a hold of one of the new Widebodies if you can and you'll agree. Great review but for the value the Charger takes it in all areas.
I have a 16 Scat pack Maximum Steal Blue daily driver with 90k and zero issues. Get tons of thumbs up all day and the car makes me happy every time I drive it. My next car potentially is a used GSF for about the same price as a new 392. My mind tells me it is the smart move but my heart pulls me to Dodge . Think I’ll take out her out now and do some 40 pulls on the highway and smile.
@@DrBrainrape now THAT I will agree with. The GSR was fun to drive like a go cart. It won't feel light but my Widebody HC handles soooooo much better then my charger SP ever thought about doing.
the scat pack is the best bang for the buck, but ride quality is also better in the gsf ,reliability, resale is better and insurance loss is better and because of limited production it's a car that you literally wont see every day, even if I didnt work across the street from a dodge dealership ,I'd definitely see more of those then gsfs and it's only dated if you're a car reviewer or an automotive journalist or maybe some who leases new cars every 2 to 4 years ,that being said between the 2 cars I still think its be a hard toss up
If FCA just made quality, reliable products with their vehicles. While keeping the same vision (392, hellcat, redeye everything) they would hands down be the best automotive company in America.
You could take 40k and turn that scat pack into a 4 digit horsepower monster. Could take 20k and make it beat hellcats and surely that Lexus, all while having spent less.
@@carlmurray4840 well the scats not a glorified rwd Camry like the gsf is so there's no one rolling 4 digit numbers with them. Many who buy scats either show them off or build them since that's what people mostly use them for vs the GSF being a nice luxury car but noting much else other than just being another "ok"Lexus like every other Lexus with people not bothering to do much of anything with them other than being praised for "reliability"like that's anything special when they can just get a ISF with a 5.0 just like the gsf for much cheaper than both cars(or the same for the scat)without wasting any extra money on a gsf or rcf.
Great video! While it is an unexpected comparison, these are similar because they're the last sedans on the market that still have character, everything else (especially the German stuff) is all overly techy and isolated, to the point where they aren't fun to drive anymore. They start to synthesize parts of the driving experience. These two are still refreshingly honest, and still give you a genuine connection to the road. Also, a quick point- the audio balance could be improved. The music was a bit too loud, and you were drowned out by it in the video.
The 392 is the best option if you just want a fast sedan with a v8 and not break the bank, those cars are fairly reliable until you start throwing power at it....The Lexus will age better and it’s a more sophisticated vehicle, the CFO doesn’t want to look like dukes of hazard when he shows up at the office, Bluetooth pretty much almost makes the infotainment controls irrelevant, that being said the GSF is wayy over priced brand new...get it used, low miles examples are in the high 30’s to mid 40’s
Notice how all the Scatpack Slander is coming from people who’ve never driven either car and only really experienced the dodge line of cars thru the Internet. Spend 3 years wit a scat pack and you’ll honestly love it.
I own a BMW GT 5 series, LEXUS GX, LEXUS 300h, and a GS Fsport......by far, the GS is my favorite car. And the only flaw with this model shown, those seats...have to go for red...that’s what I have-just turns it into a different feel all together...keep the doggie dart.
What's funny is that I almost sold my GS350 FSport for the Dodge Challenger for a lot of reasons you listed in your video. The interior was what killed it for me. Regarding the GSF, it is literally the same car as the GS350 F Sport with a V8. For a everyday driver, I see absolutely no problem with that. Not sure if I'll buy one new, but I'm waiting for the 2018 to used to inch closer to $40k. GSF would be a great used car.
@@ChiCity0186 seats and alcantara leather interior are different. Rest is the same. Still a great car. V6 to V8. Worthwhile as a used…if you can find it now.
I don't believe the GSF is worth it for 90k but in the used market it becomes a very easy choice. $45-50k for a GSF under 50k miles is a steal. I will say if performance is all you care about then you'll probably have a lot more aftermarket on the Scat but in terms of rarity, luxury and reliability the Lexus is a great car. Not to mention they're actually appreciating in value right now so you're practically making money by purchasing one.
One thing I have generally noticed about screaming cars is that they are more maintenance prone, at least from what I have seen. More revving at a constant speed means more wear and tear. We see that, for example, since Ferrari engines that scream are in the shop more than lower sounding American muscle cars. I was giving an extreme example just to illustrate a point.
I have a 2021 RC300 No F Sport. I’m not super crazy about power and people I know who have Scat Packs chargers or challengers seem to always have problems or issues with their cars. What good is it to have a car with all that horsepower and half if not most of it’s life it spends in the shop.
Can the Charger survive 10 years non stop as a daily driver, that won't leave you stranded on the side of the road after 200,000 miles? Will it work properly even after a good solid maintenance routine history? Or will the engine crumble under it's usage as it withers away? Will it need minor replacements that become major down the line? It's beautiful car for very different reasons than the GS-F, I want both of them and I wonder is the charger worth it?
A friend from work has a scatpack with about 100,000 miles without any major issues besides the AC But he doesn’t drive it as hard as other people do. It all depends on how you treat it and that you keep up with regular maintenance I am going to buy a hellcat after I finish paying off my E class and selling it.

I switched from BMW and got a Lexus GS 350 AWD Ultra Luxury Package. No way I'm going back to the German game of every six months something breaks and it's $1000 to fix it. The Lex is going to live for 30 years compared to 10 years with the shit pack on that dodge.
I like a lot these lexus F cars like the GSF and RCF, the exterior and interior are nice IMO, yeah shure the infotainment is last gen compared to other manufacturers and dangerous to use while driving but that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, I like how it is pushed back in the dash also hard buttons for the climate control are another plus for me unlike lets say the new audis, I hate those screens with a passion How is the Mark levinson sound system? Is it better or worse compared to i.e. B&W? Personally I would buy this car used Sad to see this car go, hopefully in the years to come lexus comes up with another one
Great questions and comments - The Mark Levinson system BANGS. I think the HArmon KArdon system in BMWs is decent and they'd be pretty close, but no compliants with the mark Levinson. Yeah a used GSF, especially for a family man, is the sweet spot. Take some depreciation off and you have a load of fun for a fraction of the money. PLus the reliability. with 85k you can get a hellcat widebody fully loaded or a c63s or a M3 or a RS5 or a E53 or M550i or Audi S7. Lexus is a good entry level luxury brand. But I can't see any reason to put 85k into a aged lexus mid size sport sedan with only 467hp.
It makes even less sense once youre aware that an older ISF still exists and arent relatively that expensive. I mean if youre buying an F, arent you in it for the numbers? I Usually see the ISF beat out the other Fs just because its much lighter. Same size Engine, just doesnt have the current tech that Lexus likes to NOT put in their cars.
Tom The Cat if you have 85k for a performance sedan, you won't care about depreciation that much. If you really think lexus last forever with no trade off, think about why their v8 only produce 467hp in 2020 when mercedes have make a 500hp V8 at 2012. Lexus make good daily vehicle, but their performance car are just not there. There are reasons why you barely see any rcf or gsf on road.
陈嘉伟 That’s because Lexus spends times making sure they’re vehicles are perfect before they roll of the assembly line which is why they are confident with there selling price. As you can see the ISF is still expensive for how old It is. While Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche etc are already known for performance but don’t have reliability in them which is why people would lease it for 3 then set it free. As soon as that warranty is gone you’re technically fucked. Lexus barely got into performance but give it time it would be out there with the rest.
Tom The Cat ISF is holding up because it’s small and fun to drive with a V8 and rare. not because it’s a Lexus. Look into how GSF and RCF hold up and sells volumes each year. The F is just not a good buy overall.
on the otehr hand there are well aged IS-f's (same engine trans set up, lighter chasis) theres plenty of them with 200+k miles and one particular one on foruns with 340k miles original engine, original auto trans (btw iths a quick shifting auto) perhaps as quick shifting 8speed as a ZF?

Either way, both cars are great and, although GSF is my choice, the Scatpat has a lot going and the sound of the American V8 is always classic.

Lexus is like Japan's Bentley (with more reliability) so there is NO COMPARISON.

But you do sacrifice reliability in the charger. The GSF though more expensive is more reliable.

My brain says Lexus my heart says Dodge.
one is a crap box that falls apart and loses value, the other is well built, rare to see and holds its value.
You can't compare the excellent quality of a Lexus with a Dodge. That doesn't make any sense. The Lexus isn't meant for everyone. .
No comparison, I still have my 1999 GS400 with 300,000 Km still running like new. Pass to my youngest son, my 2004 sc430 with 200,000 pass to my older son. I drive 2011 ISF still worth $48,000 which I drove or for 10 years.
Lexus F cars>>>>
I love the look and feel of the scat/hellcat but Chryslers (owners of Dodge) are notorious for not being reliable 😫
Having the money is not always the case, some people just want more horsepower and a much faster car and some people prefer a luxurious atmosphere.

It is hard to get deals on " Quality that last"...remember that.

European cars are a money pit. To be honest way over priced. I’ll rather drop the money on something reliable tags drives and like good. #lexus

For sure. You can find a lot under 30k mileage between 45-60k depending on stock or modified.
@@dwnshft yes slightly used. I think is a good deal.
!!!
Really? I traded the '09 for a '15 a couple of years ago, and once I got the hang of it, the
remote screen has been no problem. As good as that '09 was, the '15 has been the best car I've ever had. Would love a GSF just to have something so rare.
The Dodge is nice, but will fall apart after 3 years

Can the Charger survive 10 years non stop as a daily driver, that won't leave you stranded on the side of the road after 200,000 miles? Will it work properly even after a good solid maintenance routine history? Or will the engine crumble under it's usage as it withers away? Will it need minor replacements that become major down the line? It's beautiful car for very different reasons than the GS-F, I want both of them and I wonder is the charger worth it?
A friend from work has a scatpack with about 100,000 miles without any major issues besides the AC But he doesn’t drive it as hard as other people do. I switched from BMW and got a Lexus GS 350 AWD Ultra Luxury Package. No way I'm going back to the German game of every six months something breaks and it's $1000 to fix it. The dodge is going to break down too, so in the long run, the Lex will hold its value because it is rare and dependable, the Dodge will need repairs and eventually totaled or too costly to fix. The Lex is going to live for 30 years compared to 10 years with the shit pack on that dodge.
I like a lot these lexus F cars like the GSF and RCF, the exterior and interior are nice IMO, yeah shure the infotainment is last gen compared to other manufacturers and dangerous to use while driving but that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, I like how it is pushed back in the dash
also hard buttons for the climate control are another plus for me unlike lets say the new audis, I hate those screens with a passion
How is the Mark levinson sound system? Is it better or worse compared to i.e. B&W? Personally I would buy this car used
Sad to see this car go, hopefully in the years to come lexus comes up with another one
I agree the infotainment isnt THAT big a deal for me as long as i can change song and volume easily
Comparing the ML system in my GS to my bro's B&O in his Audi...the ML kills it. It's so well balanced and audio is staged so well. Amazing.
Next year Lexus might come out with a IS model with the same 5.0l engine
03 Jojo I would cry. But I don’t have a lot of eggs in that basket
The Mark Levinson sound system is widely considered to be the finest car audio unit on the market.
I picked up a 2020 GS F ... putting it up ... just got it since they are doing away with the GS line and I wanted to just have one....It's a great car!! I see those Dodge cars everywhere. I like how they sound and look, but dang... talk about saturation.
💯
I hate the fact that Lexus isn't going to make anymore GS-F's
Nafee Jumriyani ay atleast the got that is500 coming out but the only thing is the is models be a lil small.
Yeah it’s a shame they killed off the ISF and the GSF... huge bummer
ツ_Riftz it's going to be like the old ISF hopefully it's a lil more sporty than the GSF
That's why price in used ISF, RCF, GSF went up 😎👍
with 85k you can get a hellcat widebody fully loaded or a c63s or a M3 or a RS5 or a E53 or M550i or Audi S7.
Soon enough those European vehicles would lose soo much value because of there money pit problems and also won’t last decades unlike Lexus.
Turn down the music a little.
I love mopar I have always been a mopar guy but I also love Lexus
on the otehr hand there are well aged IS-f's (same engine trans set up, lighter chasis) theres plenty of them with 200+k miles and one particular one on foruns with 340k miles original engine, original auto trans (btw iths a quick shifting auto) perhaps as quick shifting 8speed as a ZF?
10 years, the lexus will still be pulling hard. BUT the dodge, 10 years every pull will cost you a quart of oil.
lolololololololol
You’re comparing a Rolex with a Casio
Rodney Fernandez 😂👌
I had a scat pac for one year and loved that car. Fun weather your driving fast or slow👍🏻. Good review
The gsf exhaust for some reason even with an aftermarket setup doesn't sound as throaty as most american V8:(
The gsf sounds amazinggggg!!! Just as good as the coyote
@@lancestrong4772 ohhh okay thanks for the clarification but that was just my impression of the Lexus 5.0 engines from videos.
@@workoutguru3211 GSF, RCF and ISF exhausts sound superior and more exotic than ANY american V8. LOVE AMERICA don't get me wrong but lexus got the sauce for sound as they tune these engines in Yamaha sound rooms. Listen to RCF or ISF Novel exhaust.
Haha throaty . . . Nice
I have a RR Racing Bazooka exhaust on my RC-F, I think it sounds really good with just an exhaust, no headers yet. Check out the video on my channel, you will be surprised how good the Lexus 5.0 sounds lol
Both fast and gorgeous sedans just all about preference. We all know the Lexus is more reliable but honestly I hear the SRT cars are pretty long lasting and make tons of torque.Id choose a Lexus RCf over both cuz I love that car but believe it or not if I had to pick a sedan I'd go with the charger it's just more powerful and looks meaner.
2002 gs430 Tuned. 389Hp and 382 ft pounds of Torque. Can't even find a proper v8 these days much less used.
If spend 85k I’d get a hellcat or CTS V. Ain’t no way in hell I’m spending that much and it’s not even boosted 😂
It’s a bad new car but the best used car hands down
Review is great, but the music is way too loud. I can't hear you.
People really be saying the Lexus IS reliable and that’s cool, but why get the 85k one when you can get a used 45k one if it’s so reliable?
used is the move
Reading through the comments is funny, everyone that has a 392 says 392 everyone that’s says the Lexus doesn’t have one and drives a ricer 5-8k pos, go hope in one of these newer dodges y’all bringing up the past from like 2005-2010 when reliability was an issue dodge has done nothing but good stuff since then, y’all mock it without trying it lol.
well said. i love my 392. cheap to maintain and parts are readily available unlike the lexus.
Gimme a widebody Scat Pack with a few options and an extended warranty. Actually, personally, the widebody Scat Pack Challenger with the 6-speed.
Andrew Sommers 👀👀👀💪
Like the review, I just joined your channel. Now you have to do the Charger widebody..
will robinson hahaha thanks for the sub! I will surely try to get my hands on a WB
I’ll still take the GSF 🤷🏻♂️
R. G. Same
The Japanese and Koreans constantly look at the shape of the headlights, the front and rear of American cars and transfer them to theirs with minimal modernization.
I have both a charger and gs 350. I think they complement each other.
Visually, they aren't comparable either. Between the power and stance of the charger, it's no competition.
Comparing a Dodge with a Lexus is like comparing a brick with a goldbar and the Dodge ain't the goldbar.
Hahaha right. The focus of this video was to demonstrate the performance per dollar you can get from the US but if you want any type of refinement you’ll have to pony up the 💰
Who has better reliable and always up to date technology when it comes down to Luxury sport sedans is it Lexus, Acura, Infinity, Audi, BMW or Mercedes.
I will admit that dodge has the edge in the transmission. The ZF 8 speed is just superior to the Toyota 8 speed in the GS F not that the Toyota 8 speed is a bad transmission by any means
