It's okay to be an adult and have responsibilities as one and still be a kid at heart. Rollerblading was always my get away activity as a kid and I still enjoy it very much at 44. I'll visit the skate park once in a while if I'm feeling up to it. Imagine being 44 and just learning how to skate transitions, wishing there were skate parks around when I was growing up. You're a phenomenal blader, Coco and it seems like you've got your head on straight plus, you're a good person. Keep on doing what you do and being yourself because you totally rock!!!
I am 56 & have been skating in some form all my life. I urban skate, but wish that I had been young enough to aggressive skate when I could have taken some falls. But aggressively skate around the city ✌️❤️😎🐒
I’m a 40 year old male looking to get back into skating and encourage my children to get into skating. Honestly you should see my 6 year old on these ramps. Your videos are really good. Hopefully my daughter can learn to skate like you can.
I stopped roller blading when I was a kid because my frame broke, back then agressive skates were only on the TV and no where to be sold not that I could buy any even if they did. Now as Adult I am going throw all the things I've lost that broth me fun. It seems that everything has become better and bigger, as long as you can afford it and have the spare time. I do find it weird that on the skate park I am the only person wearing protection surrounded by skaters screaming in pain after each fall. There is a lot of things I do not understand about the choice of cloths with the modern skaters, but I know if you can do that in the cloths you are wearing your skills are way higher. Your cloths are shocking, but that's the good part and the charm of it. About old past society issues, as I grew older I realized how unimportant my struggles were when I was younger. The older I got the herder life got, so the little time that I have for fun will not be wasted thinking of what others think of me.
This was awesome. "we think we're supposed to stop being kids, it's what kills us..." - I have been saying that for years, be responsible when/where it's necessary, but never stop having fun! It's terrible that you, and others, have been treated the way you have , no one deserves that. Especially when doing something you enjoy and love. Blading needs more role models like you and speaking up helps others grow the courage to speak out as well. Keep being you and never grow up!
This is powerful. Respect for making this. Everyone should do what they love for as long as they can regardless of what it is or what people think about it, as long as it doesn't harm anyone then its all good.
Oh. My. GOODNESS!!! I LOVE this video and what you are sharing and your perspective so much. It really sucks that you've had the experiences you've had because of how you look. You really are amazing!! I don't know you and I have SOOO much respect for you. Keep going Coco. Don't stop. We need you!!
Pretty sure I'd feel the same if I were to skate a tiny wheel freestyle setup... "Everything is going to be fine in the end. If it's not fine, it's not the end." - Oscar Wilde
I enjoyed this video, and appreciate hearing your insight on blading from your perspective. I hope you return to the northwest again it was awesome skating with you last year

Nothing but love for you! Watching you grow from a young girl, I always thought it must have been hard on you...being sexualized so much by everyone. It makes me sad.

Wow, such a powerful way to describe blading
