you have a new life now and a happier less hectic one. thank you for recognizing the Philippines and its people as the prime factors that saved your life and gave it a strong fresh purpose. you're now living a fulfiling life that most people could only dream of. also new sub from the PH. happiness and health!
Wow Good to see your all ok. No house damage or vehicles damage. I lived in the Midwest and experienced those tornadoes that came thru. Can still hear the train sounds it makes as it goes thru to this day. Glad to see everyone is OK
Hello Jay. I’ve experienced the severe power and strength of nature in the mountains of Canada at high altitude along with typhoons in southern Japan. I’ve learned nothing is stronger than nature. I’m glad you are all safe. It’s a shame many of your trees were damaged or destroyed. Some of those trees were huge! Lucky they didn’t land on your house. I quite like how your countryside looks there. Keep safe brother.
Hope your doing well, nature is something. Not a whole lot you can do about it. Tornadoes in the dark are something. Lol 😆 you keep safe yourself. Talk soon. Jay
@@jaysphilippines Hi Jay, good hearing from ya. I just noticed your new video, but am too busy to watch now, so perhaps tonight. I’m working on my food forest. Planting watermelon and sunflowers to attract pollinators. It’s a hobby I love along with building things. Yes, nothing we can do about nature, other than respect it! I’m not one to get scared of anything, but I’ll admit earthquakes and super typhoons are scary. But my fear doesn’t make them go away, so I’ve learned to face them, remain calm and act to best maintain my safety. Talk again. David in Japan.
Hey Jay! I have several comments. First, I like the animation you put in your videos. Especially the hot girls!!! Second, we have a small Amish community about 50 to 60 miles from where I live in South Texas. However, I know there are large Amish communities in your part of the country and in the mid-west. It is nice to see how everyone helps each other. I am used to working hard like you were with the power tools and loading the trailer. Thankfully it is just brush cleanup and not tornadoes. We did have a very powerful hurricane come through our area in 2017. lastly, and most important is that everyone is safe and your property did not receive too much damage. Keep working hard and stay safe!
Thank God! 🙏 slight trees only fallen, keep it safe and with your family. Woods here in the Phils might be used in cooking meals in the firewood kitchen.🤙🇵🇭
Glad y'all are okay. They certainly don't get tornadoes in the Philippines. When my wife first came here to north Georgia, we experienced a couple of strong tornadoes, luckily we were not affected... but she saw the devastation, like nothing she had ever witnessed. I told her "think of a typhoon (which she had experienced back home) and multiply that by about 5 and then concentrate it into about 100 meters of space." Love your videos, Jay. Keep 'em coming, brother!
:) I do like chainsaws. I found a much bigger one recently in the field that fell partially in the farmers field i got to tackle also. 😳 thanks for the comment. Jay
Thank God it missed the house, your truck and the propane tank! Not sure it would have punctured the tank but just happy you're all safe! I experienced two tornadoes when I lived in Wisconsin and it was scary as heck. I had grown up in California and earthquakes were no issue for me, but those tornadoes seemed like hell unleashed. We'll see how I fare in a Typhoon, lol. Another great video, though. Thanks, you guys!
Appreciate the words my man! Yes, lucky night after all that was learned later. Its funny how something like these just pop and and vanish without even knowing. Propane tank was close for sure. Looking into moving it. Thanks brother! Jay
I've got so much already, not sure it would he good for firewood. Some trees around here I was told wouldn't burn clean in my barn stove. The drying out process, the stacking and cutting. Either I build sheds And make money, or firewood. Lol not 25. These sheds are a beast by myself.
@leyamelchor1780 not all wood is good for firewood. You can't always store extra wood, insects, termite etc. We have 1000 trees if we need wood. But we use electricity for heat here if we need it.
i suggest you make your daughter study in the US. coz education in the Philippines is really really really so so so so bad. she might graduate from college with no real skills to land a decent job. believe you me. what I am saying is true.
Jay, with 2 kids in private grammar schools here I can confirm that the Philippines education, what there is of it, won’t prepare your daughter for anything in the Western world. My kids will attend an international school in Cebu and likely US universities.
We are homeschooling with private tutors and extra things, like dance, singing, gymnastics, whatever she responds to. She loves homeschooling. We will keep eyes open for things in negros. Jay
@@jaysphilippines I was never homeschooled, but in some ways wish I was. Regardless, I still enjoy learning. I went the ‘traditional’ route of attending public school, then several colleges and universities. Nowadays, I’m all for learning what is most practical in the shortest period of time given current and future goals. In many ways, I think we spend far, far too many years in school which could be better spent. Having said this, I see benefits to both.

I got so much extra wood. Could cook for years. Thank you!! Be safe buddy. Jay
@@jaysphilippines you are welcone
Jay, I am glad that you and your family are alright. I am from Terre Haute, Indiana, originally. I have seen the damage that a tornado can do.
Hope you are well lazy A. We are recovering today a bit. The week was long for sure. Thanks for comment. Jay

So lucky the tree did not fall on the car.
We was very lucky that night, much more damage up the road a bit. Thank you
Glad you guys are ok after strong storms!
Why not save for firewood for winter?
