I just watched your blog and became curious..getting a young Filipina pregnant whilst your were in 90 days trip😅...I THINK THAT IS DESTINY. IT IS A GIFT...actually lucky...you found happiness in a short time, others it took years or not found any.❤
Old or young into a marriage, it does not matter. I married young 19 years old. I was not pregnant but loved my man who sa then 23. We had our troubles and happy times, had 3 sons and raised them as best as we could. We are still together after 34 plus years and I realized your family is what you make it. We have a great family life and that is thanks to both of us.
If you're happy then were happy. Important is your here in the Philippines you both take care of your cute daughter, Kiere thats important. so long your kid is happy, everybody happy. Welcome to the Philippines and thank you for adapting the culture.
Hey brother Jay! Thanks again for sharing. I just watched the video a few days late. I have been very busy putting my scags to work. The guys need to know that going to the Philippines and finding a girl and living happily ever after is a fantasy. That relationship will need just as much work as any other to survive. Keep sharing brother. I think your experience and experiences will help a lot of people.
Yeah, I think we are about to pivot to less 😅 ai and more me talking about those things. Appreciate that man, I really do. 🙏 I miss the trailer loaded with 2 61inch tt and 52 inch walk behind, hydro of course. Weedeater racks. And trying to cut 25-40 residential in a day. Remember being mad at guys, you only cut 34 today, you guys let me down. Lol 😆
Very true, I didn't really want to do these videos. That sh-- personal, lol 😆she told me to try and she do the rest. She works really hard. Comments are very appreciated!! Jay
Hey Jay, watching your vlogs for the first time and I'm likin' it. You're for real, not sugar coating things fearing you may offend viewers. I appreciate your honesty about your past and really admire how you've learned from negative experiences and vowed not to put your daughter and wife through the same. 👍🤜🤛
Great video Jay. Its my first time here. I met my fiance a little more then a year ago. Its the best relationship ive ever been in. But we also had alot of learning from eachother to understand eachother. You have a great physic. Im doing my best to stay in shape too but im lacking alot of motivation and dicipline since im working so much.
Work makes it nearly impossible really. Sure we can get some exercise in. But to really push it hard, it's a nightmare to do with a real work schedule. Me and mine may never fully get along. Still not sure. Lol it's work, hope you survive and enjoy. Seems impossible sometimes. But got to find a way to let loose physically exercise wise. Keeping it bottled up just keeps the stress and toxins inside. Try try try to find a way to work on it. Glad your with us now, appreciate that 🙏. Jay
I am so ready. It's only been a couple months. And I'm ready to book something just so I can start planning trip and videos. Lol 😆 wife is having more and more fun with each video. I have no idea what they look like until she is done. I just talk. Lol
Jay, there ar no perfect relationships coz we're all imperfect people. You hav a beautiful wife nd child. WithGod, nurture the love nd respect thru the years. God keep you nd your family safe nd growing ln His lov. Praying for you.
Hey Jay, I’m in the exact same boat as you. I’m 52, have a precious 4 year old daughter w a Filipina. Man, some days are tough, some days are great. We’re back in Los Angeles. Most likely heading back to Philippines in July 2025. In all honesty, it’s kind of a relief knowing someone else is out there in my situation. Thanks for the video.
Man I can feel that all the way over here in Ky, big reason I did this channel was for friendships. Knowing many of them may be years in the making. So, I got started vlogging. Your not alone. Probably very similar I'm sure. Rough days go both ways. 😆 not sure it will ever be smooth.
Reach out anytime, 4 yr old, mines 5. We got our work ahead of us. Gotta keep pushing for sure. I want to be back in on regular basis. Probably 2 trips this year being planned.
@@jaysphilippines Right on. I’m retired Navy (makes it a bit easier to live in PI) I work at a power plant out here in Southern California, it’s way too expensive to live here permanently. Take care. Looking forward to more videos
Hi Jay and your beautiful family! Don’t listen to what people said about your life, relationships whatever you do people will say something negative it’s your life you have a beautiful daughter and a beautiful wife I have been here in States for a while just retired nursing ,I know you’re nurse too. I know Bella, it's kinda hard but we chose to vlog. So I'm OK sharing a little bit. 🙂 not much more than this. Back to fun videos soon. I'm glad your still watching. Appreciate your words. Means alot. Jay
True love takes years to develop. Marriage takes work everyday until the day you pass away because two imperfect people are trying to work together for the benefit of the family. The moment you stop working on your relationship is the day it begins to fail.
Hi Jack! You are absolutely, you nailed it! True love indeed takes time to grow, and marriage requires continuous effort from both partners. It's all about working together, despite imperfections, to build a strong and supportive family. thank you for sharing this insightful perspective! - Jay
Jay really enjoyed this video a lot of these points you talked about are some of the discussion my Filipina and I are having now and their are a couple points that are things I have thought about but haven’t given it much thought and now hearing them from you it gives me a better understanding and additional topics for my girlfriend and i discuss as we navigate our relationship and our growth as humans in this life in this life together. Keep up the great work. God bless.
Appreciate your comment Robert!! I really enjoy these great messages. Interesting to see where we all end up in a few years. Why I started vlogging, over the years and connecting with you guys. Stay safe, keep pushing for what you guys really want. Jay
Firstly, you have a very beautiful daughter, and a lovely wife. That mix of Filipino and American produces beautiful people. I myself am a Filipina married to another culture for over 40 years. Life is about destiny and what you make of it. Happiness is your number one priority, especially in this day and age, you want to live life to the fullest. Was raised here as a child in the US, and believe me, I miss my Filipino culture.... the closeness of families and having a close knit community. Anyways, enjoy watching your vlog and best wishes for the holidays!!!
I can watch you over and over Jay - you have your life together regarding your comments about mentors - I had mentors in my college and career, I learned to work hard watching my mom and dad work hard until they passed 89 mom been in very nice nursing home thanks to my dad left her enough money. Your Blogs just feel good to watch Thank you.

I can see that here with mine. Lol. I don't know if we will make it. Just know we will try and see where it ends. Maybe it's a lifetime thanks, be safe out there
It's fair to be nerve wrecked! It's ok. First visit ain't easy. Not even guaranteed to be fun. But you'll know if there is something about it, that if it feels like where you belong. I'm sure it will change you. Jay
Did you know if you burn a snake in the area you found them no other snake will go in that area I can't remember how far they stay away from that area but my grandmother use to do it to snake's and it did work
Hard to say, many people don't have a clue just how many types of snakes there are. Lol don't kill it jay!! I know I know, but if my mother breaks a hip because she would break something if she runs into these things. Totally petrified. Can't risk it. Snakes are fine, just don't get caught out in the open. Lol 😆 probably a prairie snake or rat snake.
I'm trying not to kill anymore, but if they strike at me, another story. That one struck my foot twice in the dark before I got the lights on. He had to go. 😀. Hope your well David. Jay
Hello new subscriber from Down Under a naturalise Aussie citizen originally from Philippines “northern Philippines “ (Baguio) love your channel and looking forward to watch upcoming uploads! Good luck for you new family! ❤❤❤
Hello Ofelia, thats awesome to hear from you down under. Im sure you have had interesting time there. Hope you are doing well. thank you for you very nice comment. jay
Very serious question, now that she’s in the USA, has her actions toward you gotten worse or better? Any change you noticed? Because everyone scares us saying “Don’t bring her to the U.S.”
She's a real girl with real emotions. Most guys saying that and yes I hear it also and like always. I say look at the person saying it. Most are pretty crappy ex Pat's. Who use or treat them pretty bad. "Look at me, I saved her" expat. I ain't the easiest to be with. She is better than before. We have 6 years together. We have fought and loved. Love wins 🏆. Usually. Lol 😆
Your daughter has your eyes Jay. Hats off to you, doing the right thing that’s a true gentlemen, especially the American way and what you been through in life. Love is action, not feelings. Very interestnig, so did i get it right that you're now 50 and your wife is 11 years younger? It's not a very big age gap but seems to be working very well for you.
Snake looked about 3' long...looked like a rat snake (couldn't see color pattern close enough) It was 100% harmless though. You can tell by the head...completely harmless. There are only 3 snakes to look out for in KFC country... copperhead, rattle snake and water moccasin (aka cottonmouth) All 3 are pit vipers...all 3 have large very triangle shaped heads..very very easy to tell apart by the heads (and they are very thick no matter how old they are). The rest of the snakes keep the mice etc down (i.e. keep them from chewing wires in your car). I made a short video of a water moccasin Monday (it's snake season!) Was about 3 feet as well...but a lot thicker. Walked up on it cooling off in a creek. It sat at there motionless for a minute (plenty of time to set up the camera)...like I couldn't see him...then it moved on. Yes, it's all about the C word...no, not that C word :)...the other one...compromise. Any relationship can/will be fine if people compromise.
Idelyn spent a couple hours yesterday learning how and what the C word means. Now she has spend a few hours learning how to use it in a sentence. THANKS! 😆
I know I know, I hear you. 72 year old mom runs into these things. She will break her neck trying to run. Total fear. Can't risk mom breaking something or not coming outside. They aren't always black snakes, or prairie snakes. Got copper heads and occasional rattle snakes. Wish baby and grandkids around. If they hear snakes and I don't kill them, they won't even bring kids over. I know, probably shouldn't kill it. I'm working on it. 🙁
I know I know. 😞. If mom walks up on one. Breaks a hip trying to run when walking is a struggle. Petrified doesn't do it justice. I won't kill anymore. My bad. J
She did love you at first sight.. not typical for a no bf province girl to be aggressive or the pursuing a man… I can not do it even now that i al a separated woman still i can not do it.
Good Vid Jay, I came across and watched a couple but this one made me subscribe, I understand where you are coming from my dad left when I was 2 years old, Mother raised 9 kids by herself, I believe you are doing the right thing and doing it the right way, I am 66 and love working out and have the energy of a 30 year old, I am blessed with good genes and do not look my age according to all I meet, the reason I say this is the gym and staying fit, I can relate to the depression thing when not working out, and also not having a father in my life, all I can say my friend is do it your way because there are not perfect women and no perfect kids and no perfect men, do what your heart tells you and you will be okay, marriage is like a plant you water and nurture it it will grow, but it takes patience and communication, I was in the Marine Corps for 22 years and have been Retired for a while now, planning on going to the Philippines this September to see if that is my final destination, with this said didn't mean to write a book but just like you, you can't say all in one paragraph, take care Scott
I was just sitting drinking some coffee scrolling around internet. I like the book size messages from some people. lol A fit ex Marine, yeah thats my kind of guy. Respect and thank you! Time just keeps on rolling on buddy, glad to hear you still taking care of yourself and pushing all we can get out of ourselves. You get it, dads not being around have huge impacts, just getting married was easy choice. At this point finding my cozy spot here soon in Philippines so i can train and watch daughter grow. About all I really want anymore. Glad you subscribed, hope to get to know you more. Be safe out there and Glad to have you on my side. Salute! jay

You should be extra careful in dealing witb girls.. Need for you to know of she is serious or not
Got to always be careful. Sometimes being careful isn't good enough. Lol thank you! Jay
I cannot believe you killed that snake. That was not a poisonous snake 😱
I know I know. 😞. If mom walks up on one. Breaks a hip trying to run when walking is a struggle. Petrified doesn't do it justice. I won't kill anymore. My bad. J
I understand Asian women's fear of snakes, explain how they eat mice. Probably won't help lol
See you in Dumaguete someday
@@johnemerson1023 hope so. Missing it! Jay
She did love you at first sight.. not typical for a no bf province girl to be aggressive or the pursuing a man…
I can not do it even now that i al a separated woman still i can not do it.
I hope things work out for you, Stay blessed and good things come your way very soon. jay
Haha even if you're a jerk you cant be all bad. Haha you did man up and recognize your little baby and her mother.
Lol 😆, thanks. I think. Lol jay
RIP poor snake.
rip 3xs , keep finding new ones. lol
It looked to me non-venomous, certainly was only trying to escape & wouldn't have hurt you.
Plus they eat disease-carrying rats and mice.
And you just worked this out, welcome to reality
I'm a slow learner. 🐌
Salute! jay
