Hands down the best adventure bike content on YT, from how-to demonstrations to actual adventures captured on film. The footage captured is way above other 'creators' with the mix of FPV from a couple of riders perspective, to static camera's trail side and then the drone footage to give the wider perspective. Whilst Adam forgot to ‘relax the chassis’ at 05:50, the speed to correct the front wheel starting to tuck-under was a master class lesson of feeling what was happening with the bike.
I think I was more impressed with Rod's nonchalant "stop flapping your gums" gesture whilst looking backwards, as he accelerated away from a standing start!
What a series! The campfire chats with the Australian legends of safari is just gold. I felt like I was sitting on the other side of the fire and just taking it all in. So real. Thank you Adam
Adam, among the many things I appreciate about your channel: the practical maintenance techniques, the road-side repairs, the step-by-step riding skill tips and your story-telling, it's the humility to acknowledge the accomplishments of your fellow top-tier riders that really sets you apart. Add the beautiful videography and you provide an unmatched experience for us to enjoy.
Hey mate anyone can do it hey! I’m a double amputee I lost both legs in a work accident 5 years ago, I still ride today and I’m building a bike for finke. More cracking drone footage Adam! What a legend Rod is on the gorgeous Tenere (old and new) We forget how wide and remote parts of our country are and this episode in particular shows it👍
AWESOME, Adam. At 59, you've inspired me to get back into riding a 500 excf. With my son! I look forward to every new vid. What a weird thing this youtube is and how it can connect people. Props to you. A big fan in the states...
Adam , you are the best discovery I've made on UA-cam and beyond. Videography, choice of briliant music and your calming and inspiring voice are unmatched by anyone I've ever seen or heard before. You are truly a huge inspiration to all of us who ride and possibly everyone who has yet to discover the magic of riding in to the distance. I am trying to share your chanel as far as I can, you definetily deserve to be seen by many, many more than 782k subscribers.
That slow motion jump on the gateway with the two old ladies, It's so EPIC! Love your work and your movies! Anyway I've got both of the same Yamaha's (S10 and the WR) and everytime after watching You, I got to ride one of them. Waiting for the next episode. Cheers!
It's fun to follow the journey from the purchase of the warhorse to where you drive it now. Many thanks for the interesting videos you share. Greetings from Norway🏍️
Absolutely epic. The videography and cinematography is next level. How one man can produce such epic footage racing on an adventure bike I do not know! 10/10!!
Brilliant skill (what a save!), filming, storytelling and philosophy. You're a legend! My warhorse is an 84 600XL and I won't take too bad your comment on single cylinders as adventure bikes. Cheers!
Magnificent! You are a world class filmaker Mr. Riemann. Bravo! Australia is outstanding. Thank you for sharing your beautiful country. Cheers from Canada!
What a great story. Australia is such a different and vast land compared to my small northern homeland. Just hoping to live long enough to see and drive around and through it some day. Keep doing a good job, so I can keep dreaming.
A brilliant way to spend a Sunday afternoon with a beer and another epic Motology release! What a duo you and Rod are. Much like you and Grabbo or Hollis. So in sync and on the same page when riding together.
I love this series. Pulling the old boys and bikes out to join on this epic ride has shown the pride you have in your country's famous riders. That's proper respect and it's also very satisfying to see the old boys still capable of wicking it up.
Excellent episode Adam, Rod is so laid back he’s nearly falling over. He has such respect from the Yamaha factory that they call him up out of the blue to race a brand new machine for them. Literally one of a handful of blokes on earth like that. Champion.
How you maintain those speeds in that country is beyond me. I've lived out in the centre and know those types of roads well. Now a city slicker, back in my Blackbird days, regularly rode at double ton (and almost triple ton) speeds on black top. But to ride like you guys do here is just a whole other level and it's mesmerising just watching you. Thank you so much - Dave
Adam - You inspired me to make films rather than just YT videos. How is it that the audio in your productions is always so good. I never see your mic setup. Cheers.
Your drag race reminds me of one I had 40 plus years ago on 250's, me on an XT and my mate on an XL. We left and I shifted into neutral, wound the throttle on and the tacho needle got to the stop on the wrong side of it, probably around 15000rpm. The locknut on the threaded adjuster on the inlet valve unwound and the top of the valve stem was beaten. Valve adjustment was never perfect after that, always ticked a bit. I did almost 30,000km in a couple years trying to perfect wheelstands and then traded in on an RZ350K and spent the rest of my bike riding trying to keep the front wheel on the ground. Anthony
Adam, I have enjoyed your UA-cam Series for years but I really like the War Horse videos best! It is great that you have the mechanical skills to resurrect that bike and you keep using it for Adventure Travel, as it was intended. Well done, keep up the good work, long live the War Horse.
Another quality and epic leg of the adventure with the Warhorse! Glad you spent some time with Rod... got some words out of him, which is a huge effort, and what wise words indeed!
Another great chapter, seeing those classics out in the bush was magical...absolute dream dust man. You know it's a good day when you get to watch a Motology film and get crackin' thereafter...pumped for everything that comes your way. I do hope to one day say hello, be on a ride and join in for a leg. Legend my man, keep being a source of goodness in this mad world.
