Does this make the Donner DED 200 sound better? Watching videos of the Donner onboard sounds, it has a very “machine gun” sound, especially with the snare. Thanks!
It allows the module to communicate your drum hits to another sample bank, sequencer or synthesizer. You can load your own sounds; play, and record them through a 32 bit system.
How´s The Latency on the Ipad? I´m interested to get a Ipad and already think to connect a E-Drum Set via USB to a DAW Like Logic for IPAD. OR i connect the EDrum Set to my PC DAW. The Donner ED200 i can get super cheap at my Place :)
I found the controller for cymbal grab for Donner DED200. It is the same patch number as the cymbal, and is a note off with velocity 0. It might need a script or be implemented in the VST. But my DAWs are registering the pinches. .
I did the same exact thing with my Alesis Nitro Mesh Drum Kit with my iPhone for GarageBand but, when I try to record, GarageBand isn’t picking anything up so, nothing is recorded.
@@jackver2006 is there anything else you have that you could test the USB to lightning adapter with on your iPhone? do you have an audio interface you could plug in a guitar or mic into and see of Garageband recognizes the interface?
dbl check the USB cable by connecting something else with it. Also, make sure you add the kit as a midi instrument in your DAW. It wont automatically start working in most DAWs. There are no extra drivers to install, so dont worry about that.
MT Powerdrum kit is working in Reaper with the ED200. I cant get cymbal grab to work yet, Any ideas? It seems like its not on a patch, but is there to send midi off command.
