Haha, right GP ;) I agree what you (nazv765) claim to be possible (educate the masses) would be really good. Unfortunately masses are lot more than 1.3mln views in this world. If course it's better to educate some than none, but I think it's still a lot easier to try to catch the cheaters than to educate every single person ;) Still, great job with this channel! DO NOT STOP :3
Kudos for your work! I don't think people understand what a massive risk you are taking with this, and want you to know that some of us understand and appreciate it. Stay safe!
You and Honza are very brave to confront and expose a criminal gang like this. Please be careful! Advice for everyone: Don't change money on the street!
NEVER tolerate criminals. As a citizen, YOU are more powerful than they are; YOU, with the public and the police, can expose them, prosecute them and put them in jail or drive them out.
I'm from Brazil, I really admire your work and your courage. I've been following your videos for some time now and I really enjoy every time a scammer is unmasked and arrested.
As someone who travels a lot and have been to the Czech Republic often, This is a common problem. Nothing very much happens to these scammers. Even the official money exchanges are robbery. Every tourist should sort out a currency card before they travel, its simple and the exchange rate is usually the best you can get.
The Meet The Gang segment is one of the most hilarious clips ive ever seen. It's just comedy gold. Anyway love the channel, scammers are everywhere, but especially tourists are vulnerable, i love binge watching and seeping in as much knowledge as i can. Best regards from Sweden! :D
If I'm abroad I basically assume anyone who approaches me is a scammer. Also, it's good to have a credit card instead of cash because if it gets stolen you won't have to pay any bills they run up, but if a debit card gets stolen it's your own money that'll be spent.
You have a great heart, sir. Please keep up the excellent work. I went to Prague before and it is a beautiful city. So I would recommend anyone to visit, don't be put off by these dumb scammers. They do not represent Prague or the Czech people in general. Shame police can't do more.
My father and I got scammed roughly 15 years ago while visiting Prague exactly in this way. We found out after going out for dinner and trying to pay with the money that we exchanged for our Euros on the street. I don't remember how we got out of that situation but we were definitely embarrassed and haven't even spoke of it since.
I'll tell you one thing: BE CAREFUL. As brave as this is, you never know if/when they will give you a group beating, or worse. Stil love your content. Stay safe out there!
When I arrived at my hostel in Prague, the first roommate I met was looking really down in the dumps. He'd arrived earlier in the day, been got by this scam (by someone waiting outside a closed shop), and tried to pay for his meal with the phony money. It really put a bad taste in my mouth for the whole time I was in the otherwise beautiful city. Good on you guys for this whole channel.
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SERIES! It looks so promising! I hope hope hope you were able to get some of these scammers into some police-involved consequences.
Prague is a city I will never visit again. All the time people was trying to get my money even in restaurants (trying to charge more money), buying hot dogs in the central square, having a coffe...everywhere. What a disgusting situation, man.
Good for you!!! I go to Czech regularly with my czech husband and the one time I was there without him I got ripped off and my expensive camera was stolen out of my bag. Its a beautiful place to see but these scams can ruin the opinion of a beautiful place!
I’ll never go to Prague. Politicians should be pestering the police to do more and the politicians need to change the laws so this is a serious offence.
Well according to your logic you shouldn't go anywhere, because there is crime everywhere in the world. But Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe,so you're missing.
To give you more fear: From my expierience with this Pest you cant go to Italy, and Major Cities of France, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain and Greece.
The key is not to trust anyone when you’re on holiday in a city or town. Scammers can tell who isn’t local. If someone approaches you uninvited, either ignore them completely or politely say No and wave them away with your hand.
Thanks for another worthwhile investigative look into scammers. It seems a lot of people are supporting you, but also worried for your safety. Maybe we should get some people together and give you a hand next time ;) Safety in numbers
This is so well done! First of all, let's praise the filming, cutting and editing because it sadly doesn't get the attention it deserves here in the comments. Secondly, it is amazing that you do the police's job. Haha you both deserve a medal from the mayor! Third, please stay save. What you do is very dangerous.
Thank you for what you do. The best deterrence is putting in criminal’s mind that he/she will be caught. As you educate the public on these scams and how to avoid/report (especially with ubiquitous phones), you’re doing great service for tourists and Prague!
Great content 👍 I'm always vigilant to strangers coming up out of the blue to help. These guys are not tourists, but probably Romanian gypsies. Unfortunately, they're notorious to these kinds of scams. What I didn't realize was how many were involved & how good these guys are in their scamming. So unfortunate. They seem to get away time & time again. These ppl are the cancers of society. Here, they have an opportunity to make an honest living, but no, it's in their DNA to live a life cheating others over (unsuspecting tourists). Great for you to bring this to light & hopefully, tourists don't get duped after watching this.
I am a Ukrainian expat. I go back regularly to visit my family. One thing I've learnt there (the hard way) is to not use ATM'S on the streets if possible as they might have a scamming device on them. Always go inside the bank if you can and use the bank employee to do the transaction manually.
@@sheepsfoot2 😅 No mate, Russian/Ukrainian Gypsies are not that smart. These are people who have some kind of IT background. @gecko they are not our fellow "countrymen". [Cant say the name] have their own identity, laws and society. Hope these "serious people" gna find out about the youtube snitch and give him a good lesson of investigation journalism in one of those little dark yards around 😈

You may not be able to get rid of the scammers, but, you can educate the masses on how to avoid the scams and that is what you are doing. Thank you.
Haha, right GP ;)
I agree what you (nazv765) claim to be possible (educate the masses) would be really good. Unfortunately masses are lot more than 1.3mln views in this world. If course it's better to educate some than none, but I think it's still a lot easier to try to catch the cheaters than to educate every single person ;)
Still, great job with this channel!
DO NOT STOP :3
Kudos for your work! I don't think people understand what a massive risk you are taking with this, and want you to know that some of us understand and appreciate it. Stay safe!
It’s not a massive risk at all. Scammers are not physically dangerous at all. Thieves are cowards
@@hmu05366 Lucky for you. I've seen some in the US stab people who didn't pay up, take their wallet, and walk off.
Dont ever stop what u do. These scammers need to go out of business.
these scam-bags really need to get off the turf
The Meet The Gang segment is one of the most hilarious clips ive ever seen. It's just comedy gold.
Anyway love the channel, scammers are everywhere, but especially tourists are vulnerable, i love binge watching and seeping in as much knowledge as i can.
Best regards from Sweden! :D
"The spitter" and "the mma" r my fav 🤣🤣🤣
That is my favourite part too! Pure Guy Ritchie style and we all love it, especially when the bad guys all f...cked up! :)
The angry grandpa seems like he is yelling something in Romanian...
It felt like I am watching Guy Ritchie’s film 😂
If I'm abroad I basically assume anyone who approaches me is a scammer. Also, it's good to have a credit card instead of cash because if it gets stolen you won't have to pay any bills they run up, but if a debit card gets stolen it's your own money that'll be spent.
You have a great heart, sir. Please keep up the excellent work. I went to Prague before and it is a beautiful city. So I would recommend anyone to visit, don't be put off by these dumb scammers. They do not represent Prague or the Czech people in general. Shame police can't do more.
Thank you for making tourism a positive experience. I was aware of everything while I was in Prague two months ago because of your channel.
The scammers bail was $200. Scammer: "do you take expired rubbels?"
😂

This shows how much the police care. This scam has been going on forever.
This is how real heroes look like. You are the best! Thank you.
Good job man, be safe. Criminals don't always act the way you may expect!
I'll tell you one thing: BE CAREFUL. As brave as this is, you never know if/when they will give you a group beating, or worse. Stil love your content. Stay safe out there!
Exactly, they are famous for fair fights. Just you and me and 10 my buddies. 😐
I enjoyed every second of it. Give them what they deserve. Your moral fiber and strength is unmatched.
This is level Netflix trailer season :D :D
You could make a Netflix series out of this topic. Would be very entertaining.

Excellent exposure. Only this type of continued coverage will make people aware and help cities get rid of these scams. Great job.
Prague is a city I will never visit again. All the time people was trying to get my money even in restaurants (trying to charge more money), buying hot dogs in the central square, having a coffe...everywhere. What a disgusting situation, man.
Absolute respect to you for going after them.

Brilliant, at least someone is looking out for the people, exactly what the police should be doing.

Good for you!!! I go to Czech regularly with my czech husband and the one time I was there without him I got ripped off and my expensive camera was stolen out of my bag. Its a beautiful place to see but these scams can ruin the opinion of a beautiful place!

I have been watching this amazing channel for years and they are STILL doing this???!!! I'm glad to see you are still going strong man! Keep it up!
You are doing a great job. My experience is that it’s dangerous to come in between a man’s living/money so stay safe!
especially if these men are gypsys....
The politicians are allowing Gypsies to ruin the city.

The key is not to trust anyone when you’re on holiday in a city or town. Scammers can tell who isn’t local. If someone approaches you uninvited, either ignore them completely or politely say No and wave them away with your hand.

What are they ? the scammers Gypsies ?
@@sheepsfoot2 😅 No mate, Russian/Ukrainian Gypsies are not that smart. These are people who have some kind of IT background. My guess would be that they are travelling gangs more likely from either Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia ( before the war). I should think that they move frequently to avoid getting caught.

@gecko im glad they aren't in my country anymore.
@gecko Why would he be ashamed of them? They are their own persons and do not represent an entire people. They are criminals and should go to jail for what they do.
@gecko they are not our fellow "countrymen".
[Cant say the name] have their own identity, laws and society.
The reason why they flee to other countries is because our system is harshes and they are afraid of getting beat up by the police.
But hey, in the age of "tolerance" you arent allowed to talk about the criminal activities that surround minorities.

Looking forward to new series of videos. Thank you to make prague a safer space. Could you explain the difference about the two polices in prague and which to call with which number? Thanks :)
As you said there are two polices in Czech republic, state police ( number: 158) and city police (156). The city police is something like "traffic" police, making sure everyone is parking right... State police is here for things that are shown in the video. So if someone tryes to scam you, better call 158 :)
