Tourist places are the worst place to visit any country, you won't meet locals, only scammers, and that's not only in Egypt, laterally in every country in the world. The best thing you can do is to just ignore them and move on.
When a society don’t give nothing about education, progress, development, cleanliness, honor, self respect and dignity you will definitely end up as a shameless Egyptian. Ps, that scam shop owner isn’t a Moroccan, I saw him a while ago where he said that he was an Egyptian.

I visited Egypt with my Mother in 2004. We accepted your dress code and my Mother covered up (we are British). We loved Egypt! I think the difference to this video, was that we came on a cruise on the QE2. Docked in Alexandria, took a bus to Cairo and the Pyramids etc. We were never bothered by the locals. It might have been that just 12 weeks before some tourists had been killed at The Valley of the Kings, and Cunard decided to bring a security team for our visit. We were escorted by the Gurkhas. No one messes with them!
i have been living in egypt for nearly 2 years. and there have been many scammers and people, who like talking a lot of crap. But if you get to know some people, they can be very helpful and friendly and kindhearded as well.
Of course, this is what happens if you follow a scammer in a tourist spot. Where tourists go, there is scammers, everywhere in the world. But those scammers in Egypt are quite aggressive. I have travelled SE Asia for 6 months and I haven't been scammed once. They walk away if you ask politely. Not in Egypt.
Thanks for sharing great video about Egypt, I been there on holiday and I can definitely relate my experiences I had encountered while I was there ,same problem at Khan El Khalil souk, scammed at the pyramids, also was taking to perfume and phyparius shops and was forced to buy because they get commission for bringing in tourists but at end it was good holiday I meet interesting people and visited historical places, I learnt never trust anyone while traveling because everyone wants to rip you off and gain from you watching from South Africa
Egypt is a country of mixed races and ethnicities and they have lived for very long centuries of slavery and it was known about them that the first to wake up from sleep is to occupy it without any resistance from the Egyptians, they are Turks, Circassians, Gypsies, Indians, Bengalis, Romans, Armenians and Greeks, as for the Arabs, they live in the Sinai Peninsula and they do not mix with anyone or marry outside their tribes because they see themselves as the purest people in race, blood and lineage. There are Berbers in the Siwa region and they are exactly the same as the Arabs, they do not mix with anyone or marry anyone at all. Their customs, traditions and nature of the Egyptians are closer to the customs and traditions of the Gypsies, Indians and Bengalis, so they are called Indians and Bengalis of Africa 🇪🇬❤️ 🇮🇳 because Britain occupied Egypt for 70 years and the soldiers came from India and Bangladesh and many of them remained in Egypt, as prostitution was permitted in Egypt and they used to have sex and have many children in the street Clot Bey was the king of prostitution at that time. They took a lot of Indian customs, traditions and culture, even some of the foods were originally Indian and not Egyptian, such as koshary.
India is very similar to their country and they are very similar to them. In customs and traditions, you feel as if you live in India. Their streets, residential neighborhoods, and transportation by tuk-tuk. They are nicknamed India and Bengal Africa 🇪🇬❤️🇮🇳
Is this true ? I am an Indian and I’ve been to Egypt when I was very young , one thing I still remember is how immediately at home I felt , I had no idea of this history however. To me it seemed like some places were similar to Arab countries while some other places were exactly like the towns and villages of India . Anyway I love Egyptian people very much , one of my closest friends, she is Egyptian ❤😊
@@porothashawarma2339 Yes it is true that Britain 🇬🇧 ruled Egypt for 70 years and the soldiers were from India and Bangladesh 🇮🇳🇧🇩 Sometimes the Indian Ministry of Defense publishes pictures of its soldiers in Egypt 🇪🇬 on the X platform Many Egyptians, specifically in Cairo and Alexandria are of Indian Gypsy and Turkish origin Many Egyptian women also marry Indians because of the great cultural affiliation between them If you go to Dubai you will find many Egyptian women married to Indians You will find them specifically in the gym and they publish their daily lives on UA-cam and TikTok. I hope your friend gets married and you have children

Only time I relaxed was after my flight took off. 😥
at this point Egypt seem like a golden goose for this type of small travel vloggers to get known . i mean you clearly gave him time and acted like you don't know him what were you expecting ? i'm mad and i'm not even Egyptian😅
the problem why you even gave him money? you should stand your ground one-time similar scam happened to me in Istanbul I told straight away to F off and he went away if you can't defend yourself which its ok call police immediately and don't talk completely to them Anyways thanks for sharing with us your experience
One must also try to put their foot on the local mindset shoe 😊 They poor, they don’t like cameras, believed it’s capturing the souls of a person, that’s common belief among ppl in that region. One must study stereotypes then roll Up a sleeve and have the adventure of a lifetime. The concept of ‘shame ‘ differs from one culture to another, they seem to not be embarrassed asking for money, and that’s not just from a normal person on the street, almost everywhere you go in Cairo and airport, you’ll find someone trading his time for some pennies, 😅. They won’t help for free 😊, I call that street smart salespeople 😊 Kudos 😂

This is my first time watching one of your videos, and I was extremely frightened for your life.

I dont understand, youtubers knowingly get into a scam and then cry for being scammed
Just to make a youtube video for views
Poor man, trying to live.
Tourist places are the worst place to visit any country, you won't meet locals, only scammers, and that's not only in Egypt, laterally in every country in the world. The best thing you can do is to just ignore them and move on.
Im egyptian, and i hate going back to egypt. I dont blame you, man!
I am going to Egypt in January, visiting Cairo, luxor and Hurghada, I am taking my elderly mum with me she and I always wanted to visit Egypt
You’re playing a dangerous game mon ami
When a society don’t give nothing about education, progress, development, cleanliness, honor, self respect and dignity you will definitely end up as a shameless Egyptian.
Ps, that scam shop owner isn’t a Moroccan, I saw him a while ago where he said that he was an Egyptian.
I'm Egyptian.. for sorrow that's the truth and totally agree with this.. which is The main major problem in my country ..ofcuors with a crazy over population keeping this worst with 2.5 million new mouth every year
Or italian rome or parisians, the two cities full of scammers
15:10 God...that would annoy me so much. This dude has no manners.
This guy is famous I saw him in couple of videos doing the same thing , scamming foreigners
Those posters are printing in a factory in China just like all the sovereigners and trinkets 😂
To be honest the scam itself became a tourist attraction
I’ve seen this guy everywhere on UA-cam and if he’s also well known in Cairo for his scams why don’t the Egyptian authorities arrest him or fine him?
How the police can do that?
There are 107 million other scammers.
Even the police will scam you there.
It’s their culture bro…just typ on UA-cam *egyptian scammers*
They'll be on payroll too😮
I visited Egypt with my Mother in 2004.
The government needs to do something about these crooks or tourism will continue to suffer there.
You pay me and I would not go there...🤮💩🤮💩🤮💩🤮
It looks like vacation in horrorland 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Why would u say u have no money but then buy food in front of this weirdo
Well it makes sense that he has money for food but not for Papyrus...
He was out in the open and probably felt safer - compared to the Papyrus Den
The tiger has cut the fawn from the herd.
Ibrahim might have become very famous by now😂😂😂
i have been living in egypt for nearly 2 years. and there have been many scammers and people, who like talking a lot of crap.
I would have left as soon as they turned off that light.
I'm sorry that this happened to you. He's disrespectful and scam.
4:00 is literally like I’m a thief but I don’t steal😂😂😂
I love you man...i love how you manipulating him😂
40 Egyptian pounds is 80 cents.
Its embarrassing tbh i would love ro go but i could not deal with these pushy scammers
Nothing in that papyrus shop is worth anything 😂
Thanks for sharing great video about Egypt, I been there on holiday and I can definitely relate my experiences I had encountered while I was there ,same problem at Khan El Khalil souk, scammed at the pyramids, also was taking to perfume and phyparius shops and was forced to buy because they get commission for bringing in tourists but at end it was good holiday I meet interesting people and visited historical places, I learnt never trust anyone while traveling because everyone wants to rip you off and gain from you watching from South Africa
Fucking crazy to get cornered in a room like that down an alley off a small street, you need to be more careful. But thanks for the warnings.
I've seen Ibrahim many times on Kurt channel and Logan McGurk that's trembled me!
anyway, when you handed 40 he asked him to keep his 10 lmao, hope when visit Cairo not to meet Ibrahim. liked your video keep it up
Do not follow anyone on streets in Egypt you will definitely be scammed for money by these slimey creeps.
Kurt already warned us about this this dumb
Why did you follow him? You just gave home a reason to keep pushing? Next time try to report this to and see what it could happen. Be safe and enjoy your trip ❤️
Dirty hands squeezed the lemon on food and threw the skin on the road !!!!!!
Wow ! perfect scam analysis video. During my visit I had similar experience. So called guides, cotton shirt sellers, antique sellers etc.they wanted to be friendly and then money. Just could not walk peacefully and admire the city or views.
However, the Uber drivers were genuinely nice and helpful. Even the restaurant staff were nice. Only time I relaxed was after my flight took off. 😥
How sad, you should have booked and earlier flight out of egypt
I would not even talk to
him. Papyrus wtf !
I was hoping he would just act very unimpressed with the papyrus. That would've been funny.
Everyone remember!
Ibrahim very famous, Number 1😂
At what point did he threaten you?
This was painful to watch. I bet you learnt your lesson.
Egyptian very very good 😂
Omg Scamar is very very good 😂😂😂😂😂big Scammar
Poor Ibrahim.. He told me it took him & his family ages to build those pyramids...😂😂
If someone has to keep telling you how friendly they are...they probably are not in the long run
You should never go with any stranger especially taking you into isolated areas, he could rob you.
at this point Egypt seem like a golden goose for this type of small travel vloggers to get known . i mean you clearly gave him time and acted like you don't know him what were you expecting ? i'm mad and i'm not even Egyptian😅
god thsi whas sooo scary with 2 staranger sin a room and they turn light off and on...omg why you go witht hem in a apartment..thats super dangerous
I have been once in Egypt, terible people. Lots of beggars….
99% are scammer
99,9%
@@BRANCOLADAGE-v8u
No bro, only some Sellers are scamming Tourists
Pls don’t scam me😢
Bet your country can make it to 100% @kaanmehmut8841
@@JADAD-ei9iwbollocks! You’re all out to scam unsuspecting tourists
He said "Koshari for 30 pounds" and then start asking 100 pounds after 😆
the problem why you even gave him money? you should stand your ground one-time similar scam happened to me in Istanbul I told straight away to F off and he went away if you can't defend yourself which its ok call police immediately and don't talk completely to them Anyways thanks for sharing with us your experience
One must also try to put their foot on the local mindset shoe 😊
They poor, they don’t like cameras, believed it’s capturing the souls of a person, that’s common belief among ppl in that region.
One must study stereotypes then roll
Up a sleeve and have the adventure of a lifetime.
The concept of ‘shame ‘ differs from one culture to another, they seem to not be embarrassed asking for money, and that’s not just from a normal person on the street, almost everywhere you go in Cairo and airport, you’ll find someone trading his time for some pennies, 😅. They won’t help for free 😊, I call that street smart salespeople 😊
Kudos 😂
You're too brave to follow him, please don't do it again, some can take you to hidden places and take all your belongings.
This guy says he is famous. Well, after this video, he is as famous as he is ever going to be. 😭
More like infamous
He said “ibrahim very friendly, no mafia”
That was enough for me to know Ibrahim is not friendly and he’s mafia 😂
