Huge respect for your reaction to "Albanian threat". And for promoting Albania on your channel. I hope to meet you someday there . It's a bit heartbreaking though to see the authorities reaction (or lack of). It always puzzled me how in many European cities lot of illegal things happen in broad daylight and somehow nobody seems to care that much ...
It's true, actually. Like, here in Russia bike theft is very rare, but in european cities every person who drives a bikes probably had their bikes stolen at least once. Well, qt least it seems so from my personal experience
In the USA, criminal threats can be charged whether or not you have the ability to carry out the threat even if you do not actually intend to execute the threat.
Its same here in Czech republic, death threats are punishable by the law. BUT! The police will be convincing you NOT to report it and let it go, so they dont need to work the case. The only thing that works is keeping this in public view and make it interesting for media.
Same thing applies pretty much anywhere, then again most police forces make an calculation of severity because of funding. A low risk criminal like a scammer is not worth the time or effort, in their eyes most likely.
There are guys like this in other cities too - I've had experience of them in Lisbon, Barcelona and Milan. In Milan they did an elaborate scam in which they managed to steal my mobile phone - but I am more careful now! Thanks so much for trying to stop their nefarious activities!

you are doing awesome job, one of the first channels that I followed and watched regularly on UA-cam. You are making great fun of those thugs from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey (nothing against those countries, but scammers often come from these or at least declare themselves as such). It would be great if the volunteers join you to protect you from those when situation arise, I would like to see those rabbits how they would threaten you then. They would just run away and they would at least change the locations for the next few months. I realize now that I live in country that is safe from such scammers, and where such scammers cannot exists, because they would be wiped immediately. Best wishes from Croatia and keep going strong.
Just for saying this you could put him in prison for up to 2 years (and for threatening with significant violence, which murder certainly classifies, it's a minimal imprisonment of 9 months). All you had to do is to call the police and say you're worried for your life because a man who you know to be a criminal just promised to off you and you have a recording of the incident with a visible face and a fully audible voice. And if they didn't want to make a report (because many people in the Police just want to do nothing and take the money as everywhere else) you should've insist and tell them you want to talk with a higher ranking officer (who in that case will tell the guy to take a report and send a patrol to arrest the guy because it costs him nothing - everything will be done by the drones below him - and a clear video means to him another solved case this month which looks good on paper). That's why the first line really doesn't like when you ask for the manager for valid reasons.

I would advise you to be more careful and avoid any harmful situations. They are not normal people.
If normal police doesnt make their job complain to Justice department
Good luck
All of them are gypsy's from Romania :))
Not necessarily from Romania, can be also from Moldova. These countries have exactly the same language - both countries were until WW2 together in one large Romania.
Nothing makes me prouder than a man defending his hometown 💯 God bless your work man 🙏🏻
Much Love from Albania man. Didnt expect to see videos from my country ❤️❤️❤️ Respects for your cause 🇨🇿 🇦🇱

Im an Albanian guy and its sad to see these guys claiming they are Albanians. I can tell by the accent and the looks that they're not Albanian... They are giving us a bad name...
Don't worry brother ,you should be proud being albanian just like me pure white race

As an Albanian I want to say Thank You For The Nice Words about my country. You are always welcome here and those “Gangsters” claiming they are Albanian don’t have a clue where Albania Lies on the map. 😂
Thank you for standing up to bullies. May you live forever!

@@4stringed in Russia you are stolen if you protest the government. Each country has its problems
In russia, the importing of culturally corrupt foreigners is also very rare. Think you might have part of your reason there:)
Hmm the Turkish guy sounds like a Romanian :)
There are a lot of Turks who immigrate to Romania/Bulgaria
"Pula mea" means my dick...in romanian,he is romanian, for sure.
And there are lots of Romanian speaking non Romania citizens or ethnicity in the diaspora
Sounds like a gipsy 💯
Scammers exist in every ethnicity. Some are just very obvious about it while others act from the dark.

You should not apologize, you are a true friend for defending him. Even if it is just bumping him. True friendship indeed!
Thanks! It's not much, but have a beer on me :)
A low risk criminal like a scammer is not worth the time or effort, in their eyes most likely.
everybody needs a buddy that protects honza like that

There are guys like this in other cities too - I've had experience of them in Lisbon, Barcelona and Milan. In Milan they did an elaborate scam in which they managed to steal my mobile phone - but I am more careful now!
Thanks so much for trying to stop their nefarious activities!
And Paris, Madrid, London, Berlin...

The guy from 1:07 is Romanian, but I can't say that I'm surprised, since they are everywhere, making a "living"
Yep, they're all over the place. I've saved a few tourists in Vienna from them.
He is a Romanian gypsy and he is an embarrassment to the entire country
You and Honza are great!!!!
Congratulations on your commitment to exposing these scammers! It shows that you love your country and that you are working for the common good!
Also collecting garbage shows that you are a very socially minded, down to earth person !
God bless you !!!
Hey! Greetings from Albania! Always watching your videos and I like the support and promotion you give for your city. One day I will visit Prague and for sure I will be familiar with the city thanks to this channel. And if someone will try to scam me, I will answer: don't try it with me, I'm from Albania, you are in danger. It remembers great Italian movie: "I'm american, dangerus for you, dangerus for Italy". 😂. All the best!
I am retired from 24 years in the United States Air Force.
In the late '70s was my first time in Prague, but the next time I can visit it would delight me to provide help to the Honest Guides!
Air force? What you gonna do? Ask for an A10?😂 (Jk)
Appreciate your courage and determination to expose this scammers.
Keep going !
I recently moved to Prague, it indeed is safe and beautiful. And I think I have I may have seen honza on the street walking with an elderly gentleman a couple days ago. Idk. But it indeed is a lovely city. Can't wait to learn more about it and explore myself
Love how you casually hang out with them every now and then 😂
Respect to you from Albanian boy i been to Prague for holiday in 2019 for a week it was very good experience i love the city and your country
I loved the part where he admitted to scamming a drug dealer, the irony in that 😂😂
I would’ve gone off on him too, for picking on Honza. That made my blood boil. People: Do NOT touch Honza. He has many admirers who will drop you like a sack of spuds!
Hey Honest Guide, you are just right. The GUY that said I am from Albania is not. Thank you for the correct information and what you do! Keep going
Albanian Here!I have watched a lot of your videos and you are doing a great work my friend!Too bad that the police is not helping you at all,in your job doing the World a better place!I work with tourists myself (I have a souvenir shop in Gjirokaster city).Thank you for the good words you said about my country and the people and thanks for cleaning up our beaches :D !Keep up the good work you're doing!
Your work is fantastic. We have to get to the point where tourists walk up to these guys to take selfies with them. Only then the goal is reached :D
you are doing awesome job, one of the first channels that I followed and watched regularly on UA-cam.

Hello Jan,
Since you are often on the road in Albania, you should know that none of the a*holes who claim to be Albanian is actually Albanian. Thank you for your wonderfully informative videos and your work in service of the beautiful city of Prague and its visitors. Přeji vám všechno nejlepší
