I absolutely love Tim Vine, he's so quick, you've got to be on the ball to catch all his one-liners!! It's really stupid and absolutely hilarious. When he said 'can you remember the last time you ate rice pudding?' Then said 'you must have ambrosia', Ambrosia is a brand of rice pudding we have in the UK, Ambrosia - Amnesia!! Great reaction Brad & Lucy, so good, I loved it, you're right, it does get to the stage where you're laughed out, because the gags are so fast!! All the best folks and take care. 😊😊
The epic, fabulous Tim Vine. He can do this for hours. One of his best ever was "Spoons." I can't remember the lead up context, but "Spoons" was one of the funniest things I'd ever heard.
If Tim can't brighten up your day you've officially died inside. Hey B & L he actually held the Guinness world record for the most amount of one-liners in 1-hour I think it's been beaten but yeh he's so quick.
I wonder if there's a Guinness world record for how long someone can hold a pint of Guinness, and if there is, I wonder who the Guinness Guinness holder world record holder is? (One of Tim Vine's)
This probably won't surprise anyone lol but he holds the world record, I think, for the most jokes told in a hour ... or something like that 😂 love the videos! 👌
@@rossshepherd9836 An Australian beat him, but he was able to read the jokes off a page. Vine did it from memory. As an Australian I think that that was an unfair advantage, Tim Vine still deserves the record. That's a rare admission from an Aussie over a Pom but Tim Vine is such a genius.
Love him, I remember him playing at our student union in the early 90's and he had everyone in tears, absolutely hilarious, and seeing him live you laugh so much it's literally painful! Some references are very specific like the rice pudding Ambrosia joke, Ambrosia is just a brand name for rice pudding in the UK.
So I was watching this Japanese football game, and I thought this is going on a bit long isn't it, so I asked the Japanese guy sitting next to me and he explained ' There's 6 minutes of Ninjury time' - Tim Vine.

Lucy, anytime you need to relax and fall asleep, I would be honored if you played any of my videos to do so. ♥💕 Brad and Lucy are the BEST and all of you have to admit, they crack us up and keep us all smiling!
Correct me if I'm wrong TipEx. This is a product used to correct written mistakes. Sometimes in a tub or pen. The tub has a small stick with brushes on the end, that you use to paint over the mistake.
One of my favorite Tim Vine moments is "Flag Hippo". It's very silly but the most silliest part is right at the end as the guy in the hippo costume is leaving. I won't spoil anything.
6:30 "Quincy" was the name of a fictional American Medical Examiner/detective in a show of the same name. "We're talking about human lives," is a thing he would say in the show.
It kind of annoys me when people watch Tim Vine on UA-cam and then leave negative comments like his jokes are either terrible or cringey. For one he's a one liner comedian so what do you expect? And secondly people should stop and think more about how ingenious and clever his material is because I think I'm right in saying he writes ALL of his own material. And not just that it's so well thought out and the way he's able to incorporate props into his stand up etc ... I just think it must go completely unnoticed just how much thought must go into everything that makes it into his final routine because you have to have a certain level of intelligence to come up with this stuff.
Quincy, a tv show. Medical examiner, a very earnest guy, played by Jack Klugman. Amnesia/Ambrosia... Ambrosia is a food company, they make a fantastic (tinned) rice pudding :).
No, not anyone. After his wondrous British effort, some no-good,cheating, double-crossing, fake, sham, no good (he really was no good, hence the repetition) Aussie beat it by covering himself with notes and prompts.
Love Tim Vine. Haven't watched this yet but I suspect you two will - as I did - find him funny almost against your better judgement :p [Edit]: May I recommend his show "So I Said to This Bloke" - It's world class and you'll love it]
Tim vine once said he had a drink problem. He got sent to a treatment centre right on the boundary between England and Wales. The staff there told him he was a borderline alcoholic.
And not a single profanity was uttered;yet we piss ourselves laughing. Tim Vine,Stewart Francis and Milton Jones, 3 modern masters of the one liners! Tim's appearance on Taskmaster is a sight to behold too if you get the chance.

Holds the Guiness Record 499 jokes in an hour. Said he was going to crack open some champagne to celebrate but that's a bit dangerous, and decided just to take the cork out instead
the rice pudding joke where he said he he didn't remember is a play on amosmia ( loss of memory ) and ambrosia ( a brand name in uk for tinned rice pudding )

Ha ha.
The man is relentless and his timing is impeccable. Like the old British 70’s comics without the more questionable material
That's the word... absolutely relentless.

Ambrosia is the mythological food of the Greek gods. I think that is where the food company took the name.

You need a very good memory to quick fire one liners.... they work though... the bad ones are quickly gone and are usually followed by a good one.
When I was a kid our family used to stand around the piano wishing someone could play it. Then it was 5pm and the shop shut.
