There's another popular and VERY camp comedian over here called Alan Carr with his own TV show. Some hecklers allude that they are brothers and Jimmy goes along with it.
Pretty milktoast and tame. The only people who thinks he's brutal are the same people who watch Married with Children clips on UA-cam and cry in the comments section about how you can't show this on TV anymore.
@@js0988 "milquetoast". If you're gonna use American words, learn to spell 'em 😛. And "Married with Children" is not only really obscure in the UK, but would be considered *incredibly* tame by British standards. Poor choice of comparison 😆
There was a show in the UK called "Educating Yorkshire" based in a really rough part of England. This looked at the trials and tribulations of teachers and students at a local comprehensive. Anyways, the most heart warming part, is a teacher helping a young student overcome a speech impediment for an oral exam. Most of it done outside class time. The video/montage is 5 minutes long and is called "Musharaf finds his voice. Educating Yorkshire". Comprehensive Schools are non-selective state funded schools. The alternative is Grammar Schools, which are state funded but are selective based on an exam called the 11+
@@rosa32 I ashamedly didn't watch the show, but the Gogglebox reaction to it - which I suppose made it even more heart warming. They were in absolute tears - especially the Welsh Gentleman who sadly passed away a few years back...who was himself a teacher
@k2411871 I'm a teacher too. Everyone wants to be the teacher who makes a difference. It's definitely worth a watch if you can find it. That season was the best.
I saw Jimmy just before lockdown in Portsmouth. There was a bloke who just wouldn’t stop shouting out. In the end Jimmy eviscerated him, the geezer stormed out to thousands of jeers and claps. Brutal, but hilarious.
Good Reaction Guys. By coincidence there are two famous English comedians named "Carr", the other being the very popular Allan Carr, who is a lovely, Gay Guy hence THe "Dad" jokes as opposed to the "Mum" ones. The main part was filmed in Glasgow, Scotland which used to be the graveyard of English comedians because if you were not funny, you then faced a torrent of abuse and if you WERE funny then you left to the sound of your own footsteps leaving the stage but that meant they liked you. Many English comics 30/40 years ago never returned.. The last part was filmed in my London where many English people have moved just outside of to the aforementioned "Sevenoaks" and "Dartford" both in , nearby,Kent.
Hey Jodi/y and Nick👍 Jimmy is an absolute beast at roasting and that was a great reaction, lived you're response to the aspiring actor/actress 'I'll have a coffee' 🤣 another great roast is Jimmy vs Big Narstie, it was on TV so there isn't much f* to cut out but it's hilarious. Nice one guys and why you're not over 100k I don't know, you deserve it. Cheers ✌️🍻
Yeah it's part of the fun, part of the stand-up culture, and definitely part of his act. If Jimmy had a show and no one heckled him, he'd be terribly disappointed and think his show went poorly.
Alan Carr is a famous gay comedian from England and people are always joking that they're brothers. I went to see a Jimmy Carr gig in Oxford, he met everyone in the bar afterwards and was really cool and had a quick witty response to everyone.
I don’t know if it’s the person he reminds you of but he looks like a certain tennis legend. Jimmy even has a joke about that. „I should explain, I look like this because my dad is irish and my mum is Roger Federer.“
My Bucket List was to visit The Seven Wonders Of The World from The Great Pyramid of Giza to The Hanging Gardens Of Babylon and to be FIRST to comment on a "Boring Reviews" video.
More Jimmy carr please, his stand up iu superb, and the TV shows he hosts a wealth of material for you. You might want to look at Jimmy Carr Sexual Guru volumes 1, 2 and 3.
He looks like that actor from Saving Private Ryan. You know, the scared translato. What was his name? There, got it: Jeremy Davies. Hmm, not really come to think of it. Never mind.
Alan Carr is another comedian who coincidentally has thr same surname as Jimmy but not related even tho they have done shows together hes gay which explains some of those jokes Jimmy made about him
I'll save you some time, dont bother checking any Alan Carr videos, the man is simply not funny in the slightest. On a side note some people say jimmy looks a bit like the tennis player Federer.

Allude. Elude means escape.
@@Ffinity Thanks for highlighting my mistake 👍
Both could be correct.
Jimmy can be pretty brutal and has no filter. Great reaction. BTW, Jimmy looks like a ventriloquist's doll... lol
He looks like the evil doll from Goosebumps!
Old school Frankie Boyle really ripped into his audiences

Can't get away with any of this these days which annoys me
You have to love when hecklers start heckling each other like in the third one! 🤣🤣🤣

I love that series. That scene makes me cry everytime. What a great teacher.
"Educating Yorkshire" as an Aussie that spent time there it sounds like a tough mountain to climb!
@@rosa32 same!

Lmao at Jodis random Pitch meeting reference. You can slip pitch meeting references in anywhere, it's super easy, barely an inconvenience. 😏
I saw Jimmy just before lockdown in Portsmouth. There was a bloke who just wouldn’t stop shouting out. In the end Jimmy eviscerated him, the geezer stormed out to thousands of jeers and claps. Brutal, but hilarious.

ROGER FEDERA’S DOUBLE
Funny af! Love it :D x
Seen him on stage live 3 times now, brilliant,!
One of favorite bits he does is at the end of one of his sets, he tells progressively darker jokes in an attempt to "offend" the audience

From 68 to 77, there was a British sitcom called Dad's Army, the youngest was called Pike, Jimmy looks as if he be Pike older brother.
Have you seen Frankie Boyles audience annihilation? Great reactions btw :)
Jimmy looks like roger fedrer

One think to bear in mind, with Jimmy, is people go to his shows to get roasted 😂
There's another UK comedian called Alan Carr, and some people get them mixed up (but they look totally different, it's just the name)
😂 mixed up? Easy way to tell them apart, Jimmy is funny.

Imagine Jimmy with white hair, and it's Steve Martin.
Watch 8 out of 10 cats from 1st series to date.
Jimmy Carr presents it and Sean Locke was a permanent fixture before he passed away.

Frankie Boyle used to write jokes for people like Jimmy Carr. Frankie's audience annihilation is brutally funny.
If you don't get the Alan Carr reference, then I suggest you watch some of Alan Carr's stand up
Jimmy looks a little bit like Grandpa from The Munsters tv show.
Haha true! Or a ventriloquist's dummy... particularly 'Slappy' of Goosebumps fame.
Jimmy looks like Roger Federer. That joke has been made many times before, likely by Jimmy first even.
Odd that he thinks only weird sex would result in sheets needing cleaning, how is HE doing it that there wouldn’t be any mess?!
Thank you. I was thinking the same thing. I didn’t want to say anything about it in fear that I just didn’t get what he meant because I didn’t.
This is what happens when you go to scotland.
We have another comedian/ tv host called Alan Carr who is gay hence the where’s Alan joke and what he responded with about the hecklers dad

Jimmy Carr..... The answer to what Roger Federer and Richard Nixon's DNA mixed together would produce.
Jimmy most resembles Roger Federer
he looks like roger federer
Just wondering how much of this would fly in the US. Jodie WILL NOT enjoy how far he goes with his jokes. Because nothing, nothing is off the table.
