- Switching it up with the M16A4 clone by using iron sights during my last range trip! Shot this one Modern Warfare style - hope you enjoy ;)
Even though I use Trijicon ACOG TA31 for this clone, every now and then use the carry handle just for fun.
Everyone needs a 20in carry handle musket in the gun safe

Another dope video man. Bro if you ever want to test yourself with that M16A4 take a look at the USMC table 2 course of fire. It mimics the training you were going for in the video and is a good baseline for shooters to test themselves on. All Marines are required to qualify on that every year an that range you have can easily accommodate. A touch late, but out of my collection, I still appreciate my M16A4. The very first rifle I got for myself. Everybody was amazed at how I handled the rifle. Even got a proper ACOG for it. At 5ft 9, barely 140lbs, I have little problem with size and/or weight. But, if I have the option to, I would switch to a pencil profile barrel in 1/7 twist and A1 stock length, like how Col. Lutz would have preferred.
I also forgot to add, which, I don't think you'll see -
The best 20 inches config should be A1 stock, light barrel, but with KAC free float handguard. We all know free-floating does it better in the accuracy department. I would even wager either Faxxon gunner profile or Criterion CORE series will do. The CORE but nitride will give better accuracy, well, until we get CHF CORE.
There are endless improvements to the M16. It sucks the long rifle platform gets overlooked. I'm a rifleman, not really a carbineer, so I always have a heart for the rifle.

Great quality video. I prefer carry handles / iron sights over the red dots and scopes. Red dots are awesome but iron sights will make someone a sharper shooter during practice/range sessions

What sling is that?
The Vickers Padded Sling by Blue Force Gear! There is another attachment you can buy so it sits upright (the way I have it) vs going through the sling swivel at the bottom of the A2 stock. This way you can wear the rifle cross-body pretty easily.

Yeah it helps a ton. I think it’s called the “M16 buttstock adapter” or something like that. Also by BFG!
