    Great review Jason! This gun is confusing in that the HVLP model required less cfm than the RP version. Any comments would be appreciated! Thank you

      The hvlp stands for high volume low pressure these guns use air volume to atomise the paint and the rp stands for reduced pressure this uses the pressure to atomise the paint, from a cfm point the air requirement is very similar, the hvlp is normally used for base coats and the rp for clear coats but from the point of air different products, different fluid tip sizes, different viscosities all change the cfm demand

    Hi Jason. Can you tell me. Doing small touch up repairs which gun do you prefer. Iwata lph 80 or a sata mini 4400.

      Mr Eighty Twenty lph80 is best for fine small repairs say a5 in size, the SATA is for larger repairs say a complete panel or even a whole side, you can do small repairs with the SATA but you have to choke it right down and be very careful
