I don't usually search through my history to find a video, but I must say thank you because I was building a 3 inch with the speedy bee stack, and I came across the same problem the front motors would not spin, but I remembered you had a problem with the main cable, this information saved me stripping it back down. Awesome.
Save all the extra hardware and wires you don't use. you'll need them eventually! There's nothing quite like your first successful build. Congratulations dude!
Dang that footage looks so damn nice! My Crux35 HDZero Edition is just sitting behind me waiting for its first flight and my immidiate thought when seeing your footage was just - damn I have to get flying!!! Loved it! I'm just getting back into the hobby after years of pause and also thinking about sharing my journey here an youtube - thank you so much for the inspiration :) Hopefully I get my Crux35 in the Air soon along with my Insta360 Go 3S - can' wait :D
I destroyed my Crux35 frame within 24 hours! Dang thing is so rapid, lost control on a 650 battery and flew a horizontal 360 straight into a tree. Blew to smithereens... Just replaced the camera and frame and she's been back flying for over 2 months now! Strongly recommend the Fly Fish RC 3.5 for if you are unlucky enough to suffer the same frame fate!
love you production quality man I wanna get into fpv soon too and have been watching a lot of content about building and ready to flys but your video is the best video about a build i saw
Not bad for a first FPV video then! I am just writing a "10 tips for noobs" as I type. Only been FPVing for 4 months, but definitely feel I can give some advice on starting up! Thank you!
Gotta love the beginner mistakes 😂 here’s some of mine. 1: I ordered a 30x30 stack for a frame that only fits up to 20x20 stacks 2: I ordered the wrong antennas for the ufl to RP SMA adapters that came with the frame I got 3: I didn’t really secure my balance leads very well(I just tucked it in between the battery and the xt60 lead) and got a nice spark show coming from the obliterated balance plug after a simple crash. 4: I didn’t realize one of the VTX antennas were damaged making my vtx turn into quite the spicy boi. Didn’t kill it but easily could have. You’re gonna make dumb mistakes and those dumb mistakes will be ingrained into your head making you better in the future.
1 and 2 are so easily done. I have done and continue to accidentally do 3. No. 4 - this very build I didn't know you HAVE to have an antenna connected, pretty sure it is why this VTX has a lot of interference :S
Cheers. Thankfully I am a tinkerer and have been breaking things since I was young by exploring how they work and taking them apart. I learnt how to chip XBOX 360s back around 2012, but soldering is still super difficult to get right. I also invested in a soldering iron since this video... So much easier for smaller contacts.
Still need to purchase one of these, why do you recommend? Smoke stopper! Dang I wish I got one before I made smoke with my Crux35 guts, somehow still going!?
@@FPVwineUK smoke stopper ok but you can use meter to check for continuity across motor wires and check plug(xt60 or xt30) for possible shorts across the board, could save you some money in the long run.
Pretty good video for a beginner, well done. Just one thing: it's not "esk", it's E S C, Electronic Speed Controller. You got the Flight Controller (F C) right, didn't call it "fk". Bit of advice on first test: remove props, put a bit of sticky tape on the motor shafts. That way you can easily check if they're all spinning in the right direction. Betaflight allows you to spin up one motor at a time, so you can check motor numbering too.
@@Oivaras i was so focused on getting her flying I left out a lot of the second half tbh! Betaflight settings and also didn’t cover my motor problem and setting up the motors. One motor didnt work, then what I didn’t mention is one was actually spinning incorrectly against the other 3! Thanks
1 of the best part of the hobby. Besides the flying.
I like the programming side too. Betaflight, ESC config, all fun to learn about and tinker!
Read everything twice then read it again, order two spare motors and ESC's as well. Welcome aboard.
They only had 4 motors in stock! But that's a good one! I also left out adding your VTX antenna before powering...

@@regoreafpvfpv8618 it’s a weird fiddly connection. I am down in the South West! Pleased that sorted it, seems a design malfunction if you ask me!
@@FPVwineUK Well at least, hopefully its a strong connection, I'm around the south Wales.

Thanks 😊 it's an expensive club haha!
You're doing great! Good job on the build.
Thank you, obsessed is putting it lightly!
Fair play, a first build is bloody hard on your own!
It’s mad, I’ve literally just built a 3” sub 250 Volador with the same stack, 1404 motors, on 4s 🤘🏼
