Finally an old game!
Finally another game that I actually played and finished a long time ago.
Sean saying that the worker guy was actually a prisoner on the same helicopter as us is hilarious!
So, he escaped just before we did and found some overalls to dress up in and pretend to be a worker and he's thinking "Oh fuck! A surprise inspection right now?! Of all the luck..."
My first ever point and click adventure game on the Amiga, can’t wait for this one!

1:53:33 Yes everyone needs to watch Scavenger's Reign, easily one of the best scifi shows in years: Fantastic writing, characters, plot, and visual style. Which is exactly why the dipshits in charge canceled it.

This game stands out (for its time) in terms of world-building and smart re-use of locations over time, besides great visual-storytelling.
1:50 This comes at the cost of making it a bit of a drag early game.
3:00 Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion (SCUMM) standardized a point+click-UI (and its scripting interface), as modern alternative to older text parses (yet it still allows for it), It replaced the horrible abomination that Sierra-like games use. ScummVM got extended to also support less-scumm-like games. Monkley+Island1+2 are in Scumm, while the fake-monkey-island games are in Lua-script, so we have Scumm-bars and Lua-bars in those games.
9:00 game start, to skip that horrible dub over the intro-comic-poster, that game came with the game/promo.
10:40 this is deus ex. this is the elden ring of graphic adventures.
15:40 old and junky pixel hunting. this game overdoes that.
21:40 dark foreground is film-noir style, which makes this cyberpunk.

45:20 "this game sucks" , and you are still in the initial very confined semi-tutorial.
47:00 "n squared, use wrench on sandwich" , this is where you must play "edna and harvey - the breakout" and "monkey island 2"

1:04:30 sean gets into the micro of this adventure game, that is not the solution.
1:05:40 sean surrenders, he failed the "just go into the door" puzzle, during the VERY regionally-constrained semi-turtorial.
1:09:20 sean somehow forgot that this demonetizing event happens.

This is getting my hopes up for you playing the original Broken Sword in the future. Also a Revolution Software-game, just a bit better than this one though.
