    Granulated Sugar 100g
    Sour Cream 180g
    (Homemade Sour Cream: Whipping Cream 180g, Lemon Juice 30g)
    Greek yogurt 50g
    Whipping Cream 100g
    White Chocolate 50g
    Eggs 2
    Lemon Juice 9g
    Vanilla 1/4 Strip
    Tonka Bean 1/2 (optional)
    Corn Starch 20g
    Instructions
    Adjust the oven to 180 * ℃ preheat
    1. Put cream cheese, sugar in a bowl, heat in the water
    2. Put sour cream and greek yogurt in another bowl and mix well with a rubber spatula.
    3. Add the eggs to step (2) in batches, each time you must stir thoroughly with a beater. Then add lemon juice and Corn Starch to mix.
    4. Put whipping cream in a small pot and add white chocolate, tonka bean Put the seeds of vanilla bean pods on medium heat, and stop heating after boiling.
    5. Add step (4) to step (1) and mix with a beater. Then add the finished product of step (3) and mix and stir Until smooth, then finish and pour into the mold.
    6. Add 2-3 cm hot water to the baking pan 7. Put in the oven at 180 ° C for 25 minutes, cool it to 150C and bake for 20 minutes.
    8. Put it in the refrigerator to cool for 4 hours.

    just a note, the lemon juice + cream = sour cream combo has to be left in the fridge overnight, it don't thicken as quickly as the video makes it look like

    We made this cheesecake with Stevia in place of sugar.
    It was GORGEOUS.
    Good thing we doubled the recipe to feed the 5 of us.

    for anyone else looking to follow this recipe, i highly recommend watching the video in full with the subtitles on, because the video differs from the instructions in the description and even the translation in the comments. for one, the written recipe says two egg yolks but the video uses two whole eggs, including whites. the video also has an extra step on adding lemon juice to cream if you haven’t got sour cream, which is a useful tip.

      For my understanding, the recipe in the description is the original recipe of Mr. Cheesecake. This video's recipe, which is the translated recipe, is the slightly modified recipe by this video chef whereby he substitutes the sour cream with cream+lemon juice, and using whole egg instead of egg yolk. Hope this is clear for you all 😊

      There are people that dont know what classic cheesecake is? I mean its the original and the first kind of cake that made with cheese in it. Souffle or fluffy ones were just evolutions or modified version of the classic one.

    陵零香豆太難買了只有網路有賣,怕買到來歷不明的東西所以直接省略這個食材。
    個人的感受是做完要冰2-3天熟成是風味最好吃的時候。

    So you can use a 8½ inch=21.59cm x 4½ inch=11.43cm loaf pan. Technically your supposed to use 9 inch=23cm x 4½inch=11.43cm cake tin (rectangular). Hope this helps. Cheers

    Tasted like the cheese cake I had in Japan. It was delicious. Thank you for this recipe.
    I made this last night. I set my oven to a conventional oven setting, baked on the middle shelf, I only had a spring loaded cake tin. I wasn’t sure if it would leak or if the water would seep in Bain-Marie so I put the cake mix in a parchment paper lined spring loaded tin. I did end up cooking it about 15 minutes longer at that lower temperature.

    I made it the taste was good but I think the temp. was a little bit lower bec it didn’t make it brownish on the top, so I tried to make for the 2nd time around using a higher temp. and it turned out to be successful... Thanks the taste was really good!!!

    In case you missed it, during the white chocolate/cream step, they also scrape a vanilla bean pod into the mixture while it’s cooking. The step doesn’t mention it but it’s very clear it was used.

    Cheesecake is my favourite dessert and i love making it. Although this recipe looks like it would taste ok, I prefer cheesecakes with a biscuit base, it also seems like a lot of faff to yield such a tiny cake.
