This brought back some memories of working on my 1965 Impala SS The motor mounts for that vehicle were designed in a really interesting way They had the normal mounting bolts to the frame and engine BUT they were designed that if they break, it could not come apart totally because it had built in heavy metal bars that would stop it. So you had the normal rubber mount with thick metal tabs that would not allow it to come totally apart, it would hit these tabs and not go further. So the engine had maybe 1 inch movement if it broke It's just my impression but it seems Fords have had so many different engines, that is seems to me it's a LOT harder to mod a Ford. Back in the 70's and 80's Chevys used various small blocks and big blocks that I think changing things around and modifying them seemed easier. You could put 2.02 heads on a 283 or a 350 NICEST thing looking back was these old cars HAD NO COMPUTERS ! YEAH ! AM attracted to the 2007 fastback Mustang myself, could be me buying one with a stick and having fun. Is so similiar to a 1996 Mustang fastback

When the new part breaks the old parts. Frustrating.
Should have just replaced then to begin with lol.
Did you check the tranny mount ?
Am sure it's broken too
I did fortunately it just came out and didn't break
